Sandbox reset

Hello I have noticed that you recently cleared my sandbox due for the reason that it was a "promotion only" page. However, I oppose this point because I was working on a barebones sketch of what could have eventually become a draft. Since nobody view sandboxes for information purposes anyway, I see absolutely no reason for this edit. I'd like to continue working on drafts in my sandbox as I have no other place to do so over the span of several days rather than one; I have no time to finish a draft in one day. Please excuse this. — AnonymousMusician (talk) 12:53, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

  • I tend to agree with Widefox's assessment that you are a spam-only account. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:14, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

I have conversed with Widefox and they have more or less cleared my name. Apparently there were overlapping article edits and I was therefore assumed to be part of an organized group of editors. I hereby request that you restore my sandbox, or at least have your consent to paste the work-in-progress quasi-draft back in (I have it in my notes for occasions such as this). —AnonymousMusician (talk) 00:12, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Update: I have found out about userspace drafts, which from what I have read are made FOR drafting. While I am not a spam account, I understand that I violated the sandbox policy, and I take back my request about rewriting the draft in my sandbox. I will try a userspace draft. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnonymousMusician (talkcontribs)

  • I seem to be unfamiliar with current wiki nomenclature. Please explain the difference between "writing a draft in ones sandbox" and "creating a userspace draft". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:18, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
I seem to have missed my ping, so late here...For the record, I have not "cleared your name", but taken you at your word User:AnonymousMusician. It is easy to be accidentally included in the sockfarm of promo editors around those music articles. I encourage you to use WP:AFC rather than user space for drafting as there's better support for new editors. Enjoy, Widefox; talk 23:55, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Ok thanks for the advice User:Widefox. Will do it next time. AnonymousMusician (talk) 02:00, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Nicole Hamilton

You speedy deleted Nicole hamilton as WP:A7 and WP:G12, but it's hard to understand how you decided it fit that criteria. The tiny fragment captured by Google Search indicates the article reported, "Nicole Hamilton is the the head in Hamilton Laboratories and owner of Hamilton C shell. She studied BS and MS from Stanford University and did her MBA from ..." We have an article on Hamilton C shell, which she wrote, and that certainly is at least some indication of importance, not what I think anyone would would expect satisfies WP:A7, "No indication of importance". And in that fragment, there was certainly no obvious WP:G7, "Unambiguous copyright infringment." The article has been requested at WP:Requested articles/Biography/By profession#Computer scientists with evidence she may meet WP:N per WP:CREATIVE and/or WP:ACADEMIC. My take is this should not have speedied and that if there were questions about notability, it should have gone to WP:AFD. I urge you to reconsider. Msnicki (talk) 04:54, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

  • The lower case h in the title told me that I was dealing with an inexperienced editor. The absence of independent references confirmed that. I have emailed you the text. A properly referenced article might well stick. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:28, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for sending me the text. I agree this looks like the work of an inexperienced editor, possibly one for whom English is not a first language. I see there are a number of problems with the article, in addition to the lower case H. For example, the titles for her previous positions are garbled (translations of translations?) and it's somewhat out-of-date. She has 9 patents, not 7, and the line count is now reported as roughly 250,000, not 160,000. (But that's not this editor's fault; the referenced bio page is out-of-date compared to her CV.) But still, I think a credible assertion of notability has been made by identifying her as the author of a notable product about which we have an article. Our guidelines ask that we keep articles for which there are sources or other evidence (e.g., per WP:CREATIVE) supporting notability even if the sources have not been cited. We don't delete these articles, we fix them. I think this was not a valid A7 speedy deletion and certainly not a valid G12. It should have been moved to a correctly capitalized title and, if you still wanted it deleted, taken to AfD. Msnicki (talk) 15:33, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

I'm trying to square your remark about the lower case H being evidence of a new user with Davidwr's impression [1] that you moved it to that title inside his sandbox and then to userspace, then deleted it. If accurate, that doesn't seem like the best way to treat a new editor, especially coming from an admin. Can you respond, please? Msnicki (talk) 19:45, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

(In response to a comment that appeared and then disappeared) I would like to clarify that I'm simply confused about the sequence of events and unable to look it up myself. So I truly don't know what happened. But in the end I think this was probably not a valid A7 nor a valid G12 either, no matter what the bot thought. The only thing I'm pretty sure is that this one should have gone to AfD, where I think it would have attracted some rescue efforts and the outcome would have been keep. Msnicki (talk) 20:58, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Oulunkylän tekojäärata

You shouldn't have erased this. A sports arena which has held the final game in the world championship of a major sport is of course relevant for Wikipedia. — Snowsuit Wearer (talk|contribs) 01:34, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

You don't have to become impolite just because you feel personally insulted by stub articles. Don't move things to my sandbox, you have no right to write in my sandbox. — Snowsuit Wearer (talk|contribs) 18:03, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Filthy Frank

Hello, I was trying to find information on the Youtube celebrity Filthy Frank, but couldn't find anything due to its deletion on 29 April. Why was it deleted? Would I be able to retrieve the article? I'm interested in the topic as the man has several personas and it is difficult to verify whether or not Filthy Frank is one person or several people. Any assistance you could provide would be much appreciated. — 58.106.43.149 (talk) 10:10, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

  • As you can see here, I usually refuse to talk to IP addresses. But in your case, I shall assume that you do not have an account. I have emailed you one state of the article. The most recent state consisted simply of: "Papa Franku. All praise the dark lord chinchin as he has done the world a great favor." — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:48, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Holding of Wrist Deletion

Earlier this month on the 14th you deleted the Holding of Wrist page that I created. If possible, I would like to be able to adjust the article to include the necessary information that got it speedily deleted in the first place. What brought me to write about Holding of Wrist in the first place was my belief that it is a growing organization that interacts with hundreds of thousands of people on various subjects related to mental health. I realize I'm still new to writing on Wikipedia and had read the rules and regulations before posting, but I must have missed something. I’d like to correct my error if that is possible. — MJcatitude (talk) 17:43, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

  • I find your contribs history puzzling. I suspect you have a COI. But it is possible for you to correct your error. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:18, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Western Ontario

Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/University of Western Ontario/Human Factors in Aviation (Fall 2015). I believe you expressed to the course leader some valid concerns about this course and, among other things, article titles. You may be interested in the thoughts I have placed on the course leader's talk page. We are seeing less than stellar outputs from this course at WP:AFC and please by students for help at WP:AFCHELP. IT looks as if 23 students who could and should be enjoying contributing to Wikipedia may become alienated by their experience here.

I'm not asking you for any action, exactly. This message is simply for your interest. Fiddle Faddle 12:32, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

This has become a rather one sided discussion here. Since you seem to be sweeping up a lot of the mess I wondered if you would like to contribute there. I would value your input. Fiddle Faddle 11:39, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

League of Nations (WWE) Deleted

Hello RHaworth. I was wondering why this page was deleted, even though this is a recent item. You might need to watch back WWE RAW dated on 30 November 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robthesaxplayer (talk contribs)

  • What on earth does "watch back WWE RAW" mean? If you are wanting me to look at something on the web, did it cross your mind that providing a link might be a good idea? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:02, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Hello! My page Samar Singh Virdi was deleted on 00:12 (Indian Standard Time), 3rd December, 2015. They say that it was deleted because of lack of information. I want to add more information to it! Shahan Ali Mohsin

Hi - I would like to know why article Shahan Ali Mohsin has been deleted despite having clarified to the patrol, User:AKS.9955 that the source of the Hindustan Times article was a press release sent out by me and that I can furnish it if required. I don't understand why it isn't sufficient. I contested the deletion yet no response was provided before the article being deleted. When I am communicating with one contact point, how can someone else simply delete the article without referencing the talk article? Please clarify asap. Shuklasap

  • It does not matter how the press release reached you. Copying it is a copyvio. I suspect you have a CoI so the best I can offer is that you raise the matter at deletion review. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:23, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Shahan ali mohsin. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Shuklasap (talk) 18:26, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Page deletion help

Hi again, RHaworth, I am deeply sorry about this mistake I've made. If I deleted someone's message, it was not intentional, I did not even realize it, so I am sorry. I am simply trying to publish an article on Wikipedia and do it by the official guidelines.

You have recently deleted an article I wrote about caterwings, and I was wondering if I could get some information on why this deletion happened. I read Wikipedia guides and examples of similar articles that went live (such as ZeroCater and Deliveroo) and created my article accordingly. I do not have the link to the page any more, but what other links would you like me to send you?

As my sources, I looked on-line anything that was published about the topic I am writing about (the company, its service, and other similar companies) and used the ones that were reputable.

So I was wondering if you could help me figure out how I can fix whatever problem that led you to believe my article was not fit to be published and successfully contribute to Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sue.Molly (talkcontribs) 09:08, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

  • The shouted title predisposed me against the article before I even opened it. The refs did not impress me. So if, and absolutely only if, you have no CoI, feel free to raise the matter at deletion review making it clear that you will spell the company's name as CaterWings in any future article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:18, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi again RHarwoth. Thank you for your help. I opened a discussion to have the deletion of the page reviewed and I will make the alteration you suggested. The code for it is {{subst:DRV2|CATERWINGS}} Sue.Molly Let me know if you have any further suggestions on how to improve my article. Thank you and have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sue.Molly (talkcontribs)

Joseph Aldred

I created my first article on Wikipedia, called Joseph Aldred, but you deleted it. I don't quite understand why. I have references, etc. Bishop Dr Joseph Aldred is well-known in the UK, he wrote several books, hold very prestigious roles and has done significant work for both the Black community and the Christianity here. Please advise, what am I missing? -- Daparris (talk) 20:45, 4 December 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daparris (talkcontribs) 17:39, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Daparris, no, you did not create an article called Joseph Aldred. You created an article four times on three different titles all of them "wrong" in one respect or another. Also your idea of references is a long way from Wikipedia's idea. If, and absolutely only if, you have no CoI, feel free to raise the matter at deletion review. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:47, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Charles Lewis Driggers

I need, at a minimum, a copy of the page/text you deleted under User:Charles Lewis Driggers. I understood from a different Wiki tech support person I need 10 edits in Wikipedia to be able to post the text you deleted....perhaps I should have completed the 10 edits prior to creating the page/text in 2014 that you deleted. FYI, In am in the process of completing the 10 edits...I thought I needed to reference myself (i.e. User: Charles Lewis Driggers) as the original source of information in order to get one credit for an edit. If possible, I would prefer you to restore the page/text at User:Charles Lewis Driggers having the original creation date in 2014. Please accept the 2014 creation date is important to me. I will momentarily remove the objectionable hyperlink from the "Shame" article I am amending. I think this should resolve the problem. I understand that I will then need to go back into each of my 10 Wikipedia edits to then insert a reference to myself as the original author...I am the author of whatever I write in Wikipedia. I just noticed that I also have an email from Wikipedia so I will copy/paste this text to a REPLY if I am able to REPLY to the message. I am new to Wikipedia and am still learning...you grumpy old man...I am old but not grumpy. :) Please respond to the email if that is possible; otherwise, I will check Wikipedia tomorrow for a message from you. Please advise. Charles Lewis Driggers (talk) 22:20, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

  • I get the feeling that if you try to continue contributing to Wikipedia it will turn out to be an ongoing saga of clashes with pig-headed editors who cannot understand what you are trying to do. I strongly recommend you to turn your back on Wikipedia and start to improve your own, currently totally embryonic, website. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:47, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

You have deleted Why Women's Police Stations. I do not object to the deletion but I notice that this article was related to Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/Louisiana State University/Intro to WGS Sec 1 (Fall 2015) which appears to be an educational project. • Biscuittin, you may care to follow this link and this one. I cannot think of any specific rules, indeed I hope there are none. Deletion of User:Drcrazy102/DRN transclusion demonstration 1. Hi RHaworth, I did not put up a CSD:U1 for the DRN transclusion demo 1 page, only on the User:Drcrazy102/DRN transclusion demonstration 1/Talk:Muhammad page. I had used a transclusion link to /Talk:Muhammad on DRN transclusion demo 1 which may have caused the confusion. Is there any way you can revert the delete? The demo 1 page is currently being used in a discussion on the Dispute Resolution Noticeboard talkpage, so having it deleted is going to cause problems. Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 03:28, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

I thought I had removed the transclusion link when CSD'ing /Talk:Muhammad, but thank you for the help for future CSDs. I've re-nominated /Talk:Muhammad for CSD and made sure the transclusion link is gone from the main page. Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 00:16, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

RHaworth, The deletion of Joseph Smith 1844 Presidential Platform was done without discussion and the page had been denied deletion by others. Erika has bean

A tag has been placed on User:Erikabean/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cahk (talk) 08:01, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:Australian Track Cycling Championships. Hi, I just noticed you deleted my newly created template on the grounds that you considered it a test page. Can I confirm that i) you reviewed my comments before you deleted the page, and ii) if so, then you would have no problem accepting a more complete version of the template in the future?

Also, should I complete the pages for each years championships first (see 1938 Australian Track Cycling Championships as an example), or can I create the navbox template now and then add the additional years championships over time? Agentocccc08 (talk) 11:47, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

Nextiva deletion

I believe even if an article has been previously deleted it still stands a chance in future under WP:TNT if it is rewritten with notable improvements while adhering to all Wikipedia policies including passing WP:CORP as Nextiva has.It has been covered by credible sources like Highbeam research. There was a much more recent discussion about its deletion that did not end at a consensus thus maintaining the status quo of having the article on its own Wikipedia page. I would like you to consider all the material facts in the recent discussion which reflects a much more realistic and recent stand that other Wikipedia editors held about Nextiva. Thank you in anticipation of your reply. KagunduWanna Chat? 12:11, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I see you deleted K.R.T.GIRLS with criteria A1, A3, G1 and G11 after I had rejected the deletion request. Spandaryan Hydro Power Plant and Spandarian Hydro Power Plant. This mess is getting larger and I'm bothering you about it since you cleaned some of it up once before. There are three users creating and editing these: Apavenstepanyan (talk · contribs), Taguhi sinanyan (talk · contribs), and Vahagn1996 (talk · contribs), none of whom have edited anything else. There are currently five other redirects of various name versions. At this point both of the articles in the subject are full articles, both are being edited, and occasionally one of the three editors will put a PROD on one of them like it's a contest. Could look at this when you get a chance? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Uncle Milty (talkcontribs) 17:36, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

I tried to clean this mess up, but yes, this university coursework without proper understanding of sourcing, formatting etc gets quite messy. Beagel (talk) 18:18, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

There is a related story with forking Vorotan Complex of Hydropower plants and Vorotan cascade, created by students of the same student assignment. Could you please merge the history of these articles? Also, the title Vorotan Complex of Hydropower plants (mixing capital and small letters) is not in line with naming conventions. Probably we need to start RM discussion to decide what should be the proper title of this article. Beagel (talk) 19:08, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

Nextiva

I'd like to ask you to reconsider your restoration of Nextiva. Clearly you thought the current version was close enough to the deleted version so a G4 was entirely valid. The only reason the second afd occurred was that the shill that recreated this spam put it at Nextiva Inc. in a bad faithed attempt to avoid connection to the previous deletion. Restoring this panders to those that choose to use Wikipedia for advertising. duffbeerforme (talk) 10:51, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Text of deleted 570ers sandbox

Hello RHaworth, I was wondering if it would be possible to get a copy of the text of my deleted sandbox page (which I have to apologize and admit that I have absolutely no idea how to link to)? The page was created for a class project and my professor wants to go in and look at the text one more time for grading (which is understandably difficult considering I no longer have access to it.) I apologize for the confusion, as is obvious my Wikipedia skills are far from stellar. Please have pitty, I really don't fully understand what I am doing. Thank you! -- 570ers (talk) 01:35, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Text emailed. You are clearly part of a student project. Please read Wikipedia:Student assignments and announce yourselves as explained in that page. "I have absolutely no idea how to link" - what a tragic admission that your project has failed. If nothing else, a student project should teach its participants the rudiments of wiki markup. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:45, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

AN/ANI

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Problematic admin actions. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 07:16, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

The OP failed to notify you, which is required for all ANI reports, so I have taken the liberty to do so. Just to be clear, I am in no way involved with the OP's case, I'm just letting you know. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 07:19, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

  • No, they did not fail. Whatever I may think of Duffbeer…, I will not accept that accusation. Their raising of the matter begins with a link to my user page. That generated a ping to me which was necessary and sufficient notification. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:58, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Many users may feel properly notified by a ping but note that Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents says in bold red: "When you start a discussion about an editor, you must notify them on their user talk page." At Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-echo users can enable email notifications for user talk edits, and disable notifications for mentions. — PrimeHunter (talk) 16:27, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Salisbury railway station

Hi! Thanks for sorting out the CSD on Salisbury railway station, however you moved the wrong page in it's place. You need to move Salisbury railway station (England) to there to restore the situation to what it was before this user started making controversial moves. There is a similar situation at Durham railway station too. Thanks! Jeni (talk) 11:20, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi again, I'm not sure I can work out what you've done? You seem to have restored a couple of revisions? Thanks, Jeni (talk) 11:31, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)@Jeni: I think have done what is required. I would assume "Durham railway station" is sufficiently ambiguous between the city in North East England and the one in North Carolina to require a requested move. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:35, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
  • Jeni, I did the restore to check whether you had done the db-move tag wrongly or whether I, in my heavy-handed manner which clearly annoys Duffbeerforme so much (see above), had done different from your request. Although I am English, I still think that it is arrogant of us to assume that the English railway station is more important than the others. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:09, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Creating an article previously deleted

The article Thundermarch(Rock Festival,NIT Silchar) is the page of the annual rock fest of the college NIT silchar. I created the page before and it constantly gets deleted. Please don’t delete it and allow me to create it again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gauranga.p (talkcontribs) 13:30, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks and two small questions

Thanks for deleting the page I tagged for deleting. That was fast. On other subjects, I am curious about the Ten Years Society and the Ambassador Program. Once, I tried to move ahead with it, but I was not contacted further, even after completing the training. Thanks. Caballero/Historiador (talk) 15:14, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

  • The Ten Year Society is purely notional - I would not expect it to have any activities. I put myself on the list of ambassadors ages ago and nothing happened. Try adding yourself to the current list and see what happens to you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:09, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the info and links. I will try it out. Call on me if you see something important about the Ambassador program. — Caballero/Historiador (talk) 13:41, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Contested deletion of Denial eSports

Content was from this website, whose content was released under CC BY-SA 3.0 according to the bottom of the page. This was also noted in on Talk:Denial eSports. -- Prisencolin (talk) 21:26, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Please read this. OK, it was not a copyvio - I should have changed the deletion reason to A7 - non-notable organisation. raise the matter at DRV if you must. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:32, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
    • Well the article did reliable sources, but not necessarily a lot of inline references. WP:DRV told me to ask the editor who deleted the page before going through DRV to save time, so that's why I asked you first.--Prisencolin (talk) 17:34, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Categories emptied out of process

Could you undelete Category:Rivers of Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, Category:Rivers of Wayne County, Pennsylvania, and Category:Rivers of Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania? They were emptied out of process while under discussion at CFD. Thanks! --Regards, James(talk/contribs) 08:44, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

  • If the discussion closes with the decision not to rename these categories, come back and I will re-instate these three. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:32, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Falk Preussner

Hello. The page Draft:Falk Preussner has been deleted again. Would you be so kind as to bring the article back please. I went ahead and made significant changes to the article and will be more than happy to continue editing to meet Wikipedia standards. I do, however, need time to do this and continue review. Thank you. Kriziadlp (talk) 14:28, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Wearing shoes before my socks.

Thanks for being lightning-fast with editing EFA_calendar as forwarding to a (previously) not existing page. Sorry for taking your time, you are right that creating a forward-page and creating an article-page does not commute, i.e I tried to wear my shoes first, before putting on my socks. — Hou710 (talk) 14:30, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

has been recreated again. I nominated it for speedy deleteion. Could use SALTing too as this article has been recreated multiple times since being deleted....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 13:23, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

G6 deletions

An "unused and deprecated" template does not seem to fit one of the uncontroversial deletions allowed per G6. (Example: Template:Doi ref) I had already advised this editor to use WP:TFD. Tagging with G6 seems to be avoiding the proper process for deleting templates. What do you think? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 17:02, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

Would you mind addressing my concerns as I see you are still actively editing. Thank you — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:10, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Has been recreated once again and this time one day after you deleted it. Note- By the same editor who created it yesterday. Can you please deep six it and salt it while you are at it too?...William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 11:07, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Idan Raichel

Hi, I saw you deleted the article about Idan Reichel. Please restore it and if there are any problems I will deal with them. He is one of Israel's leading singers. I am sure there are parts of the article that were fine. Deleting an article and making people start over from scratch because of a couple of sentences is not justified.Geewhiz (talk) 06:09, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

(talk page watcher) I see no history and no entries in the deletion log for that article. Have you spelt it right? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:13, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Article was deleted as a copyright infringement, in which case we would not be able to restore it. Best bet may be to start over. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:34, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
The article existed for years and I know I contributed to it at some point. So the whole page couldn't have been a copyright infringement, because that is something I never do. I would like to see what was there and fix it up. I'm sure there are sources listed and photos that could be used. It is hard to believe a whole article can be wiped out because one contributor may have added something inappropriate.Geewhiz (talk) 18:39, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Dr.M. M. Alex

Hello RHaworth, I had created the page on Dr. M.M. Alex { https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dr._M._M._Alex&redirect=no } a couple of months ago. But it lacked in line citations. Now it has been redirected to another page Alex Mathew { https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alex_Mathew&redirect=no } which lacks a lot of important content on Dr. Alex's life. If i make another page which has the appropriate citations and references is there a chance of the page getting verified? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you, Basilmathew92 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Basilmathew92 (talkcontribs) 09:31, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) It would be better if you improved the existing Alex Mathew article. If you have additional well-referenced information to add to it, please go ahead. All of the articles on Wikipedia are collaborative efforts and additional help is always appreciated. If you leave the redirect as is, other readers looking for Dr. M. M. Alex will be automatically sent to the correct article. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 14:12, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Computer hardware market products

Please would you restore User:Mattmill30/Comparison of computer hardware market products.

The content is no different to the hundreds of "Comparison of" pages, except that due to it's span of a huge subject, it will take a while to mature the content; hence it's in my user section whilst the content is steadily matured for transference into an article.

Many thanks Mattmill30 (talk) 10:25, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Swedish Riksråd

You recently deleted an article about a medieval Swedish riksråd, Birger Ulfsson. It's understable if you're not all that familiar with Swedish history and thus cannot judge the encyclopedical importance of a Riksråd, but would you please restore the sourced article about this historically important person? Deleted Article Pay-Per-View Networks

Here is the link to the deletion log of the article you deleted.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=Pay-Per-View_Networks

The reason cited was a duplicate of the pay-per-view article, but if you read the article I created you would know it was not anywhere close to a duplicate. At the very least can you email me the text of the article I created. I did this for an assignment for school and now I can't get credit since it got deleted.

Thanks

Unitywater

Hello Mr Haworth I believe you are responsible for blocking the Wikipedia page administered by Unitywater, a water and sewerage utility based in the south-east region of Queensland, Australia. I am writing to ask you why you took this action and how we can work together to restore the page. I look forward to your response, preferably to my work email address, which is listed below.
