Dear RHaworth. The article Cole equation of state was taken from another site, but I am the author of that article, too. Anyway, as explained in its main page, http://www.sklogwiki.org/SklogWiki/index.php/Main_Page, "Content is available under Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike unless otherwise noted". Same goes for Stiffened equation of state. Best, Daniel (talk) 22:14, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Ddcampayo: That wiki's non-commerical license is incompatible with Wikipedia's. Also, please place new comments below old ones. Compassionate727 (T·C) 22:20, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi there. Sorry about the misplacement of my comment. I still fail to see how that wiki's license, which precisely coincides with donating procedures is incompatible. If you could please provide a compatible license, I can discuss an update with the wiki's mantainer. Daniel (talk) 09:55, 27 June 2018 (UTC)

  • Did you actually read what Compassionate727 said? Do the words, which you quote, "non-commercial" mean nothing to you? A link to a compatible licence appears at the bottom of every wiki page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:19, 27 June 2018 (UTC)

OK, I got it. Will try to write new articles from scratch. Thanks. Daniel (talk) 15:09, 27 June 2018 (UTC)

  • Daniel, I have just realised that you do not need to re-write. You own the copyright to the stuff at Sklog Wiki so go to talk:Cole equation of state (making sure that you are logged in) and leave a message such as "I give myself permission to publish this on Wikipedia without the NC clause in the licence". The wording does not matter: the edit histories prove pretty conclusively that you are are the original author. When you copy the stuff to here add a note on the talk page, as an HTML comment and in an edit summary explaining the copyright situation and pointing to your notice on Sklog Wiki. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:39, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

Five Star Senior Living

Please Undo your deletion of Talk:Five Star Senior Living. I added that message to contest the deletion of the page. I was told that is where to place the message. — Nolan Perry (talk) 15:42, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Nolan Perry: We do not keep talk pages of deleted articles. Presumably, your objection was noted at the time of deletion and deemed insufficient, though knowing RHaworth, it is hard to say if that actually happened. If you believe the deletion was in error, the correct way to proceed is to ask the deleting admin to undelete the article itself and explain why you believe their deletion was erroneous. Compassionate727 (T·C) 17:31, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Alternatively, you can request that the page be restored to your userspace or draftspace and briefly explain why it would help you proceed if that was done. Compassionate727 (T·C) 17:34, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

I Simply Followed the Instructions of the Template left on my talk page. — Nolan Perry (talk) 17:44, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

@Nolan Perry: You were to correct to contest the deletion that way (unless it had already been deleted when you contested; in that case, you should have come straight here). Once the page is deleted, you ask the deleting admin to restore, not create a talk page without a companion subject page. Compassionate727 (T·C) 19:01, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Neither of you was capable of providing a link. Also I have had to guess that you would probably prefer me to restore the article itself rather than its talk page. Done. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:54, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

Marta Tellado

Hi RHaworth, Can you please restore the Draft page for Marta Tellado? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Douglas_Love#Speedy_deletion_nomination_of_Draft%3AMarta_Tellado This was a draft Biography of Living Person new entry that included third party sources and was accordance with BLP guidelines. It was sent for review and then marked for "speedy deletion" for being an advertisement, but it is not. It is a BLP page. Thanks. Douglas Love (talk) 12:54, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

No, it [there's your link!] wasn't fully in accordance with BLP guidelines; but it wasn't a bad attempt at this. What's clear to me is that it wasn't unambiguous advertising or promotion. (Perhaps time for a refresher on WP:G11. Quote: This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION. If a subject is notable and the content could plausibly be replaced with text written from a neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion. Emphases in the original.) And calling its latest version a "test page" is myopic: see its history. A fair amount of work needed to be done to it -- well, that's what the "Draft" area is intended for. I warmly support the request for undeletion. -- Hoary (talk) 23:31, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Douglas, in the article you used in-line links where you should have been creating refs. Here you created a ref pointing to your talk page when you should have used a wikilink pointing to the article. Learn wiki standards!
Hoary, you should be ashamed: all these years contributing and you still do not know how to create wikilinks.
Both, here is the link I needed: draft:Marta Tellado. Why was that so difficult to provide? It is a least entitled to a normal review, so restored. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:29, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Assistance with a deleted article

Hello there, I've set up an article on a cultural magazine and the draft was deleted by a user (Quek157) who apparently did disruptive editing and false speedy removal requests and was therefor blocked. It would be nice to get a chance and recover the text and if needed adjust any elements that might not comply with Wikipedia´s rules. The link to the deleted draft is Draft:The Travel Almanac. Thank you so much ! Christian — Preceding unsigned comment added by Travelinfashionberlin (talkcontribs) 22:43, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

Spurious includes

Only requested categories / templates deletion, articles also somehow deleted? Bit confused, basically after a discussion I realised the subarticles in question didn't meet notability standards. In turn, I decided to first work my way through the deletion of categories/templates I had created. I then had planned to see if any content was salvageable and depending either redirect or request deletion. I'm pretty sure I didn't place {{db-author}} on the subarticles, so bit perplexed they're now gone.

Articles in question: 2017–18 Dallas Fuel season, 2017–18 San Francisco Shock season, 2017–18 Seoul Dynasty season, 2017–18 Shanghai Dragons season, 2017–18 Florida Mayhem season, 2017–18 Houston Outlaws season, and 2017–18 London Spitfire season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiki nV (talkcontribs)

  • I carefully checked the edit history of each one. I left 2017–18 Los Angeles Gladiators season untouched because you did not create it. True you did not place {{db-author}} on any of these page. More importantly you failed to place <noinclude></noinclude> around the speedy tags in the templates you tagged. Reluctantly restored. Be more careful in future. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:54, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

Apologies, first time deleting templates/categories, was unaware I had to include <noinclude></noinclude>. Anyhow, thank you for the restores. Wiki nV (talk) 19:28, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

Wikipedia page deletion

Why did you delete my page due to copyright infringement. The information I wrote was paraphrased, I even ran a plagiarism check on my information using Plagiarism Checker X and the sources show that the information came from the Suicide of Rebecca Ann Sedwick article which was the article I created. Right now I have created a draft for the article because I am planning on fixing those issues just because you claim it's copyright infringment — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous1941 (talkcontribs) 18:39, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

I saw we had Spotahome (company) and moved it to Spotahome. While looking for backlinks and redirects, I then saw you had salted Spotahome due to repeatedly-recreated advertising. Question

RHaworth I am wondering if you can help me with something. I am currently watching a recreated article (Fortanix), and I have a sneaking suspicion that sock puppetry may be at work. I need more context, so would you be able to direct me to the editor that requested that Draft:Fortanix be deleted via G7 in June, a request you fulfilled. Thanks. -- SamHolt6 (talk) 18:48, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

Dear RHaworth, I'm writing to you concernign the deleted page, named Ailira. This article was once not accepted due to the links to the internal website. Deletion of the article about Vishal Nanglia

Dear RHaworth, I wrote an article about Vishal Nangalia and you deleted it last week. I cannot provide you the link because the page doesn’t exist anymore. However thank you for your feedback. It was certainly not my intention to be promotional and I am sorry that it has come across this way. Vishal Nangalia is fast becoming a UK national expert of AI in healthcare and is a close compatriot of Shafi Ahmed and I followed Shafi Ahmed's Wikipedia entry as a guide for Vishal Nangalia's entry submission. Indeed, he recently presented at an international conference in Bulgaria at the Web.it festival with Shafi Ahmed. The reason for this web-page submission is to inform the wider public about his work in reducing patient mortality - he is being featured in a Guardian interview later this week to coincide with the NHS 70th anniversary. If you could recover the text, that would be great, otherwise let me know which areas need changing, I would be happy to do so. Draft:Major General William O'Leary QVRM TD DL VR. Added reference to duplicate text found in alternate source. Main biography text body has been reproduced in multiple formats by multiple assistants and will be found in multiple locations online. Page created as a work in progress, then flagged for copyright infringement however the text was taken from the author(a collective of assistants to the principle being written about in the biography) and displayed in multiple articles in different websites. The page was then updated to reference where this duplicate text was also used, but this was overlooked. From flagging to deletion was 5 minutes. Article deleted - Trevos

Hello, I created an article which you deleted on June 30. The article was about the company Trevos. Stated reason for deletion was Section A7. Can I ask you what specifically I need to do to improve the page? There are many existing similar articles about similar companies (e.g. TriLux). In addition, can I access the source code so I can improve the article? Thank you! Jakub Res (talk) 13:14, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello and thank you for sending me the deleted code. I was wondering on what grounds you allege I have a CoI or is this your arbitrary decision? Also, if you had put forth at least a semblance of effort you would not have criticized me for shouting. The official name of the company - as it appears in the Company Register - is capitalized. Why don't you take down IBM then? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakub Res (talkcontribs) 15:49, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

  • CoI? A glance at your contributions history screams "CoI" loudly to me. But prove me wrong: start writing about a variety of other subjects. It is well established that even if a company shouts everywhere else, they do not do so on Wikipedia. As with this example, if your company were notable, its article would start with "Trevos (stylised as TREVOS) …". And what has IBM to do with anything? Its article is kept because it is a very notable company. The title is in capitals because it is an initialism - indeed it is specifically mentioned within that article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:36, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for the response. TREVOS, just like IBM, is an initialism as well although I do admit I have failed to mention this in the article (and should have). I also appreciate the tip about how to mention a company's name is stylized somehow (my bad again). What I don't understand, though, is the assumption I have a CoI. Are you trying to say the more articles you write the less CoI you have? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakub Res (talkcontribs) 15:34, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

  • OK, now provide an explicit link so I know what you mean by "this page". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:36, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Tracy Palandjian. - Hjg79 (talk) 13:16, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

  • So why were you talking about copyright issues over a Commons image - that has nothing to do with the deletion of the bio. As to that: please read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:25, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

To be clear, I am referencing a copyright issue because the following is included on the now deleted page (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement of https://www.rfkchildren.org/events/embracing-the-legacy/). If this not the reason for deleting it, then why include it there? — Hjg79 (talk) 12:40, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

The New Centre for Research & Practice

As a new page patroller I have come across the new article The New Centre for Research & Practice. It seems that there was previously an article of this name as the talk pages states that at 11:40, 28 September 2015, you deleted the associated talk page under G8. I have no way of telling whether the present article is identical to the previous article, but I do think that the creator and several IPs are conflict of interest editors. The creator for example has been adding links to the articles of all the board members. Could you have a look at it please. Actually, while writing this, I see another editor has nominated it for speedy deletion. — Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:38, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Previous version restored. I decided that an AfD discussion would give a sounder base for protecting the title. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:36, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Thanks

Your jumping in and fixing the messy history of Combo Niños was much appreciated! It will be easier to work on the article now. — Modernponderer (talk) 13:27, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

Jared Flood page deletion

Hello Mr. Haworth, A page I created about American knitter and designer Jared Flood was deleted by you on 22 June for not credibly indicating the importance or significance of the subject. The page has been up for many years without challenge and the deletion date unhappily coincides with a social media attack against Mr. Flood. I would be interested to know whether an individual or individuals contacted you to request removal of the page, and on what grounds you felt the article was suspect enough to warrant deletion. I believe my research was thorough and properly cited and maintain that Mr. Flood, who is a household name amongst handknitters around the world and whose work continues to influence contemporary handknitting design, is as significant an individual as many other artists whose pages have been allowed to stand. Of course I'm content to abide by your decision if you're certain it didn't meet Wikipedia standards, but I don't like to see Wikipedia used as a weapon in personal disputes that would be more maturely handled by direct conversation between individuals. Thank you, Sarah Pope K3tog (talk) 18:27, 11 July 2018 (UTC)K3tog

  • Hound, learn to read the logs! What was the state of the page when Sarah left her message? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:36, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
  • It had a Speedy notification on it I believe. Have I missed something really obvious? That would not be unusual. - Roxy, the dog. barcus 12:03, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Ah. You meant this. Did you know I've been here at least ten years ! - Roxy, the dog. barcus 12:14, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Article delete request

I just moved from New Jersey and I am a iper since the 2000s (don't bite). Please speedy delete Shirin Oskooi article and create a redirect in its place. Shirin is not notable (she appeared on 2 seasons of Survivor) and most Survivor contestants don't have articles for themselves. Wikipedia is not a collection of every person who appeared on TV. please do this. I can't AFD and i won't. You can create a redirect right?? (after you delete her article). She literally is nothing and a nobody — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.233.143.77 (talk) 04:19, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

  • As an IP address who cannot create a link, I should ignore you. Worse, I suspect you are NickyHarryJ232 (talk · contribs) having failed to log in. Firstly what on earth is an "iper" in the context you are using it? Please reply. As to the Shirin Oskooi article: do your own dirty work! The content was not really sufficiently offensive for deletion. If I had been you, I would have just converted it to a redirect. Why were you incapable of doing that? Please reply. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:25, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

Category page recovery request

Could you please recover Category:2. divisjon players, that I tagged for WP:G6 and you deleted 09:46, 10 July 2018? It appears I had made a mistake in closing this discussion. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:55, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

Please ignore, another admin took care of it already. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:30, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

G4 Speedy deletion

Thank you for catching the blatant copyright infringement on Draft:ESAT. User:Robin Hooke has decided to make recreate material you deleted. I have tagged this page as G12 as I was unsure where to find the discussion for G4 but I hope that you can block User:Robin Hooke from repeatedly making this page as it is clear that there is Unambiguous copyright infringement of https://ethsat.com/about-us/. — Turtlewong (talk) 16:02, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

@RH, this time it wasn't a copyvio; although of course, G4 may still have applied. No worries. — SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 16:10, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
  • No need to ping me on this page! If Robin Hooke requests a restore, I will listen sympathetically. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:25, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
Did you get a ping?! all I wrote was @ R H (no spaces); does that still ping? I learn something new every day! Actually it would be a lot easier than all this {{reply| etc. business... —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 18:36, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
  • No, I did not get a ping. What I should have said was: possibly a salutation was useful here to indicate you were talking to me rather than Turtlewong but there was no need to precede it with a fatuous @ symbol. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
Classic! Apologies, RH. Hope all's well! —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 22:28, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Xometry Page Deletion

Hello, The deletion log shows that you did the deletion of the Xometry on 10 Feb. 2018. I am not sure of the original circumstances of the deletion, but the company has grown and is now the largest custom manufacturing platform in the US. It recently acquired its major competitor and raised an additional $25 MM for growth.

You can read about this in the Wall St. Journal, Lexington Herald Leader, American Inno and many other publications. What would be the right next step to permit the creation of the page? — Aaron, preceding unsigned comment added by 151.181.228.194 (talk) 22:07, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Next step for you is to do nothing. Wait until someone who has no CoI thinks your company is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Thanks RHaworth. It says in the log that the page is locked and page creation requires administrator access (see here: Xometry). So if someone without CoI wants to create a page, how would they do it if admin status is required to access? I appreciate your help! -Aaron — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.100.63.74 (talk) 12:27, 19 July 2018 (UTC)

Hi! You recently deleted the page based on WP:CCS but it appears to be quite a popular band in Bangladesh, [1], [2], [3]. --Zayeem (talk) 12:13, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

  • So re-create it, including those claims of significance. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Ten Schools

RHaworth: I don't hugely care but it seems incorrect of you to have deleted the US-based Ten Schools Admissions Organization. It's an organization of some of the most powerful privately financed high schools in the United States, existence of these organizations seems important to understanding and documenting our culture. Again, no biggie if you don't undelete it, but figured I'd offer my perspective. — HighAtop94 (talk) 17:48, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Incredibly the article had been around for thirteen years. Often with an article that venerable, I restore and send to AfD but in this case since nobody had thought fit to add independent references, I conclude that it is actually non-notable. But deletion review might give you a different answer. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Request for page Opening

Dear RHaworth Can you kindly open this page Joseph Kalimbwe you protected from creation? The page was deleted for not having notable sources. I have since found more reliable sources and wish to first submit as a draft for review by an Admin rather than create instantly. I do feel a draft will have a chance of being approved on Wikipedia once I submit a draft. Best regards 105.232.255.39 (talk) 18:41, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

  • You say you want to submit as draft. Do so. If your draft is accepted, then unprotection of the mainspace title will be uncontroversial. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Draft deletion

After I declined G3 tags on Draft:Septian Saputra and Draft:Anton Safronov, you went ahead and deleted them anyway. In what way were they vandalism? -- Bbb23 (talk) 20:38, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Deleted due to edit conflict. Septian Saputra looks screamingly non-notable but since it is draftspace, I have restored both. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Retrieve deleted page

Hi, I would like to retrieve the text of the deleted page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:China_Literature_Ltd or if possible, restore the page. It is written as factually and objectively as possible as required for listed companies and provides the relevant citations. Please inform me of any changes required to meet Wikipedia's requirements. Thank you. Webnovel (talk) 05:21, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

  • I have updated my email. Webnovel (talk) 00:03, 19 July 2018 (UTC)

G4 refund?

Hi, would you be able to have a look at Sadduzai (Pashtun tribe)? You've deleted it per G4, but I'm not able to find its AfD. – Uanfala (talk) 08:09, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

  • OK, there was not any AfD - unless you count a mention here. I was tidying up a mess of spelling variants: Sadduzai / Sadozai and, in this case, an unwanted (?) disambiguating suffix. Now you have brought it to my attention, I see that there may have been copy&paste moves. I have now moved the edit history of Sadduzai (Pashtun tribe) to Sadduzai. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:05, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Restore deleted page

Hi there, I noticed that you delete the following page: User:RachelWilliamsGLG/sandbox/Global Legal Group has been deleted as considered “unambiguous advertising”. The page was written objectively and factually and was created to be an information source only. I would be grateful if the page was restored and if you could provide me with some further information as to why this page was considered “promotional”, I can then amend the page accordingly. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RachelWilliamsGLG (talkcontribs) 11:12, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no CoI thinks your company is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:05, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Please undelete Draft: Dry Eye

Hi Mr. Haworth, I request the undeletion of the page Draft: Dry Eye. The copyright infringement to which you referred no longer exists. Thanks, Knujon Knujon (talk) 20:51, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Don't be ridiculous. Massive copyvio. In any case your piece was simply not an encyclopedia article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:05, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

restore Rigby please

Hi, could you please restore Draft:Rigby's Water World (which you just deleted citing G4) which was restored by my Wp:refund request a few days ago. Right it was AFDd when in main space before but i am trying to develop it. Happy to discuss situation further if you want, and/or you could look at refund request discussion in history there. —Doncram (talk) 15:59, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Blocked My Page

Hello, I was working on a page for my company however my page was removed because my username was my company's name "My Financial." Since then, I have created a new account "cwalkertexas." I still wish to create a page for my company/employer, but when I created the page, I saw the note saying that I should contact you first.

The page was titled My Financial and I am not sure how to provide you the link as it was deleted and I am new to writing Wikipedia articles.

My name is Chris Walker and my username is Cwalkertexas

Thank you,

Chris — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwalkertexas (talkcontribs) 16:26, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Cwalkertexas: What was the name of the article? I do not find either an article named My Financial (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) or a user named My Financial (talk · contribs). —C.Fred (talk) 21:18, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
@C.Fred: He was User:Myfinancial, and the page Draft:My Financial. —Cryptic 21:25, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
