NICOLE HAMILTON

Nicole Hamilton is the Hamilton in Hamilton Laboratories and the creator of Hamilton C shell, a complete amusement of the UNIX C shell and utilities for Windows. She hold a BS and MS, electrical designing, from Stanford University and a MBA valedictorian from Boston University. she is named as an innovator on 7 issued US patents.

Hamilton C shell started life in September, 1987 when she quit her occupation and set up shop in her front room close Boston, not long after the conception of her first tyke. Fifteen months and 35,000 lines of code later, it turned into the first multi-strung application to deliver on a PC. Today, it's some place around 160,000 lines.

Before turning into a business visionary, she was the workstation programming improvement administrator at Prime Computer. Also, before that, she was at IBM in Austin, Texas, where she dealt with various equipment and programming configuration ventures identified with their initial chip based word handling machines.
