Discrimination faced by the Bihari community in India

I am changing the title to a more acceptable one - "Discrimination faced by the Bihari community in India" for the time being. Kindly participate in the discussion here. Manoj nav (talk) 06:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Wiki dialectics

Thanks for the compliment, Docku. The Talk pages sometimes sound a bit like a theocracy, or the old Soviet Union, where rival factions always accused each other of deviating from the true faith. As if the proper grasp of Marxism, or Christianity, or Hinduism, or of the Wikipedia rules should never lead one astray. Regards. Badmintonhist (talk) 02:00, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

High Doc. I didn't ignore your request for input on the Hannity article. I've been away from a computer for a few days and just noticed it now. I'll take a look at the discussion and throw in my two cents in a little while. Regards. Badmintonhist (talk) 19:44, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

CPI national party in 1957

hi, there is a source to verify it, see http://www.eci.gov.in/StatisticalReports/SE_1957/StatRep_Kerala_1957.pdf . --Soman (talk) 18:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

well, ECI has a formalized criteria for differentiating 'national parties' and 'state parties'. One could argue that some of the recognized national parties aren't really national, personally i'd say that its more common that state parties actually are national parties without recognition. As per the CPI, it should be held in mind that the CPI was much more evenly spread out over India in the 1950s than today. --Soman (talk) 19:06, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Barnstar

Thanks so much for the barnstar you gave me (actually my first). I'm not unfamiliar with the exercise, though it can become frustrating when editors try to jump our policies with POV. I'm glad we have reasonable editors such as yourself who are willing to contribute to the discussions! //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 02:39, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Cow protection edits

Glad to be of assistance! Wikipedia needs more articles that aren't about entertainment topics...--Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 16:19, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

EVR

Hi Docku! I know what you mean with the IPs going havoc sometime. But lets not get apprehensive about them. You have an impressive edit record reached within a short duration. I wouldn't think it would be a good idea to waste your time and energy on this trivial issue. BTW it would be better late than never- you are doing a great job here in wiki. Keep up the good work. Fox News

Maybe I should have said "Fox News is the nicer side of evil! I'm only speaking the truth! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.60.95.2 (talk) 00:17, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I understand your concerns. But believe me, only verifiable informations and convincing arguments without ignoring wikipedia policies define what stays in what gets kicked out. You cant get around that. Being implote, taunting, personal attacks could get you blocked. I am not saying that you are practicing them, just a word of caution. No, sorry, most certainly not. --BorgQueen (talk) 15:09, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

re: afd

okay, yep, never mind. I though it would count the tally even if the same people are going. we cna move it to talk and pursue. it is still relevant to the topic.

should we copy and paste it into talk? Lihaas (talk) 22:03, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I though it would count the tally even if the same people are going. Didnt understand it. Sorry?? Docku:“what up?” 22:15, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Never mind, the article issue is sorted.
But yeah, i would support regionalism under nationalism for 2 reasons. 1. nationalism came first, and consequently 2. regionalism in an ethnically divided state is essentially nationalism. Lihaas (talk) 23:26, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

I think you are being a little over-senstive by saying that response was personal. You act like I attacked him. Niteshift36 (talk) 23:27, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
