Template:Secret Treaties[edit]

Hi, I just noticed that a template you created, Template:Secret Treaties, is unused and appears to be abandoned. I've marked it as deprecated, meaning it'll be deleted in two weeks' time if nobody objects. If there's a reason to keep it please leave a note at Wikipedia talk:Deprecated and orphaned templates and feel free to remove the {{deprecated}} tag from the template. Thanks. Bryan Derksen 00:12, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh...hi?[edit]

Back in the editing mood for a while? Welcome back, I suppose. As to that, it's credit where credit is due.--CM (talk) 01:04, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Me? Naw I'm too much of an editor's editor. I love working on articles, and doubt I'd be trusted with the mop. I guess you do get to start over, but don't you already have the mop? Nice perk. I think people will remember you; queries for stuff always comes back.--CM (talk) 01:28, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You kiddin me? I thought you got the mop ages ago (heh MoP mop). I guess if you mashed us together we'd make a super admin. Oh well.--CM (talk) 03:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was thinking Frank Caliendo reference, but I'll be Brundle.--CM (talk) 22:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey MoP. We conversed ages ago (you won't remember why), so just thought I'd say hey ;) Anthøny 19:07, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Back?[edit]

How are you? Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:46, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalizing this page, if you don't revert me, then you will be banned. Now and forever. For 47 sidereal days. And then some. Yea... You know what I am talking about.[edit]

lolz, thought I was gone eh? Eh?! Imposter of Puppets Prodego sux! 03:20, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No vandalism shall stop me! Activate Founder power! Jimbo Wales MoP suxs >Insert obscenely huge red graphic here<
See, that is almost as good as this version, in permanent link form for future generations. Prodego talk 03:37, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And it only took 10 minutes, haha. Remind me to change that back eventually. I suppose you could easily pass now if you wish. BTW, I just tried clicking the link to amidaniel's talk page in your "friends" box, and the thing caved in on me. Now, I know you think I 'sux' but I didn't realize your userpage did too. Sorry about the red graphics comment, but jeez. You might want to look at that. Prodego talk 03:45, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Back to that RfA comment, eh? Prodego talk 21:12, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you very much for fixing the spelling on my talk page!--U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. 05:28, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

What edits in particular do you mean? Bobisbob 03:25, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did the recent zebra edits too. But not under my name. Bobisbob 03:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the kind words[edit]

Encouragement's always appreciated! Jackollie 03:29, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • You're right - I'd been dithering about trying Twinkle, but I've now made my official first rv with it. Pffww (relieved sound from needless worrier.) Thanks again! Jackollie 04:32, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hey, Master of Compliments! You're right, I've enjoyed Twinkle - I've actually had some time to correct some punctuation in between reverts. Many thanks. Jackollie 05:12, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • 8-D Ha! That would be a popular bot. Might blow a server somewhere! Jackollie 05:19, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
        • Oh, what's one more talk entry? (kaboom goes a server.) Yes, spell checking does sound interesting. Jackollie 05:25, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
          • Way cool. I may have to find a bot to say thank you for me! Jackollie 05:42, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have opened a sockpuppetry case against User:WiccaWeb and his puppets for their actions on the article and its talk page. Thought you should know. Also, please accept my thanks for patrolling this article. Have a wiki day! Mmoyer 04:03, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about leaving you hanging (in regards to admin coaching). Yes, I know, it's been a year... :P Master of Puppets Care to share? 23:47, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Stuff happens. If you want to continue, I'm still available. Though I wouldn't really be able to start until after Thanksgiving. I have a very busy couple weeks ahead of me and I don't even have internet at home right now. How are you doing? How's life and stuff? :) --Fang Aili talk 15:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Monroe Township High School[edit]

Your recent edit of [[Monroe Township High School}}]] has been removed, click here for details. There is no reason to include a department head. Furthermore, the name is spelled "Matt DeFilippis". Alansohn 00:56, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I knew you couldn't be vandalizing, and I assumed that in the heat of the moment the invalid info was reinserted. Thanks for your help. Alansohn 01:00, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Vandalism is as bad as ever. The number of times I have to revert nonsense as a percentage of my total edits is a disgrace. Alansohn 01:06, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey![edit]

It is good to hear from you again (I have not forgotten you). I am doing quite well on Wikipedia, and have managed to keep out of trouble, but I still am not worthy to turn my eyes to your edit count!--MrFishGo Fish 03:00, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That would be...awesome.--MrFishGo Fish 15:16, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your question[edit]

Hello! I saw your question about how to respond to something like this. My immediate thought was that this was some kid in-between classes, posting some nonsense. The tip-off was "you can run but you can't hide..." Presumably, if the poster really was a Director of Technology, s/he is an adult and would respond to you in a more mature fashion. My response would have been to ignore him/her, or reply with something like, "Hilarious. Go back to class now." Just my 2 cents. Threats don't get far with me. Thought you might like a 2nd opinion. :) --Fang Aili talk 18:52, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I appreciate it. :) I differ from you in the fact that I have a soul I like to treat all things that impact the mainspace seriously, and I admitted to Tony that I thought it most likely wasn't the director of technology, as anyone with even a high school diploma would know better than to tell someone they're going to track them down. However, I did get an email from that editor a while later which seemed much more professional; I'm pretty sure that a student noticed the site, conversed with me, then notified the director. Or I may just be gullible, who knows.

Mainly I'd like to develop good mediating skills, as only bad things come from conflict. Anyway, thanks again! Master of Puppets I have more soul than Fang Aili 20:08, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. This may make you laugh. :P

LOL. Hope you don't mind me extending the laugh a bit further. Couldn't resist. About mediating skills, well, I'm not sure how I would have handled that situation. An email from the actual director would have gotten a serious reply from me. (If I thought it was realistic to assume it really was the director.) You have more soul than me? Oh noes! ;) --Fang Aili talk 20:15, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note about hodgepodge[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you like to fight vandalism and I thought that I might be able to help. I have complied the best vandalism fighting tools into a single javascript file that I call "Hodgepodge" and I thought you might be interested in it. The file, once added to your monobook, can help you fight vandalism much much easier and quicker than without the scripts. The tool can be found here: User:Wikidudeman/Hodgepodge. Read the page for information on how to install as well as compatibility issues. If you have any questions then please leave me a note on my talkpage. Thanks.Wikidudeman (talk) 19:23, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Reverting our userpage[edit]

Sure, no problem. It was the least I could do after stealing using your talk page guidelines for my own page as well. So you have gone green with your page, Al Gore would be proud. I could use those Photoshop skills of yours... « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 21:23, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If its not too much trouble, use my username as inspiration and maybe this. « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 21:41, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Very nice and quick, but maybe it should be somewhat more unique. That image is fine, however I worry about copyright. So if you want to how about taking my username and come up with some picture that describes it. You could use that GDI logo image as a "guide" for a style I would prefer. However, those fonts and colors really hit the mark. OR you could try to find some image like the GDI that is "free" and repeat what you did... « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 03:28, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just glad that you accepted my request. Take your time :) « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 19:21, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nobel Prize for Medicine edits[edit]

My edits are not vandalism, but rather an accurate representation of history. If you choose to dispute this, I would like to remind you that the Nazi swastika flag was, in fact, the official and recognized flag of Germany between 1935 and 1945. Therefore, I will contimue to revert the page to reflect this, regardless of your, quite frankly, misguided opinion. --24.107.188.94 (talk) 23:41, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Filter recent changes[edit]

I posted a comment, and noticed yours...When i hit the test button, it automatically comes up with {{subst:uw-test1|(article name already inserted)}} ~~~~ so i just have to hit save, i'm using firefox, so not sure if that makes a difference or not Ctjf83 03:56, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Mate![edit]

Hey! How ya doin!??? Hope you remember me... :-) .. I just wanted to drop in and say Hi. And I am slowly working my way back onto wikipedia. Although, it might take me a lot more time to be the once "active" contributor that I was. But I surely will be checking my msgs frequently now. Anyways, I am in a metal band now!! Playing bass... and check out this recording of ours if you can! I am sure it'll suit your taste much more than the previous ones.. We haven't got vocals on that one though. Anyways, whats up with you?? Hows everything going? Drop me a line if you can. See ya around! Cheeeers! Jayant,18 Years, Indiacontribs 20:55, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for the comments and actually listening to the song. :-P .. We actually got to play a couple of shows and we even came on national TV a couple of times! :-D .. So, this project is turning out to be good. Hope you are doing good mate! See ya around! Cheers! Jayant,18 Years, Indiacontribs 09:27, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks and question[edit]

Thank you for the welcome, and even more for the fantastic offer. I would like to know what is the theory of everything. An answer in terms of fields and a Lagrangian for the action would be helpful (with some ideas about how to quantize, ideally). Also, some explanation about how this resolves the conflict between general relativity and quantum field theory would help me sleep better at night, and hence contribute to Wikipedia more productively. Nilradical (talk) 23:08, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the amusing response. I'm in at least the 30th grade and I still have no clue what the answer is. Oh well. Nilradical (talk) 19:51, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup templates[edit]

Just to let you know that most cleanup templates, like "unreferenced", "fact", "cleanup", "expand" etc., are best not "subst"ed , (e.g.Psychopathics from Outer Space 3). See WP:SUBST for more details. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 09:42 25 November 2007 (GMT).

Hello![edit]

Copyedit from my talk page: "Please be careful when reverting vandalism, as sometimes it isn't vandalism you're reverting (see this recent edit of yours). Good job otherwise! Cheers, Master of Puppets Care to share? 05:15, 28 November 2007 (UTC)" Thanks Master, What is odd is that the edit I made was a reversion to my last "clean" edit or so I thought. I didn't check the edit further but in reviewing the record, someone else using my userid made the edit. As you can guess, I have no interest in vandalism. Bzuk (talk) 05:21, 28 November 2007 (UTC). This may fit a pattern as for the entire day, a series of sockpuppets have been reverting my edits with notes that indicate they were acts of vandalism. Bzuk (talk) 05:26, 28 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]
