Untitled[edit]

I agree, the entire "Save Rosenblatt" section is unsuitable for an encyclopedia, most likely written by one of the whackos from the "Save Rosenblatt" committee. I recommend either a complete overhaul or outright deletion of the section. 204.58.233.6 (talk) 14:32, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Rosenblatt and the Omaha Royals"[edit]

Second paragraph of intro[edit]

This was not the last game played at Rosenblatt, not even the last baseball game. The last baseball game will be on sept 2, 2010 with the Omaha royals final game before the end of the season. The last game played period will be some weirdo game by the UFL. This is simply the last College World Series game. This should be spelled out. Is tone encyclopedic enough now?[edit]

Baseball assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Nearly the entire "Efforts to Save Rosenblatt" section of this article is opinion. It is unfounded to say that the entire city of Omaha opposes the downtown stadium, especially when citing unscientific polls on a website (which is anything but neutral on the subject) to base results.

I have no dobut the stadium means a lot to South Omaha and the people who live around it. But contrary to the author(s) of this article, the entire city is not represented within the context of the article's editorial views. I'd like to motion that editors please clean up the content to eliminaite this bias. If the "facts" presented were backed up by references, I'd be happy to retract my comments.
