Soltanabad (Persian: سلطان اباد), also Romanized as Solţānābād,^[3] is a village in Kalkhuran Rural District of the Central District of Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,752 in 368 households.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,857 people in 452 households.^[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,830 people in 528 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
