Kivi (Persian: کیوی), also Romanized as Kīvī; also known as Givi (گیوی) and Küyü,[3] is a city in the Central District of Kowsar County, Ardabil province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 6,467 in 1,721 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 7,158 people in 1,974 households.[6] The 2016 census showed a population of 7,101 people in 2,182 households.[2] Earlier, Kivi was divided into Upper and Lower Kivi: Yuxarı Küyü (Yuxarı Küyü) and Aşağı Küyü (Aşağı Küyü).
