Merge Yodelling Song into Lovers in the City. The article on Yodelling Song does not have much information in it over and above what is already in the article on the album, and is headed by a tag saying it may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guidelines. Vorbee (talk) 09:02, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

Merge Wonderful Shadow into Lovers in the City. The single only reached Number 198 in the U.K. Singles Chart, so I do not know whether it is notable enough for a standalone article, but probably deserves a mention in the article from which this single comes. Vorbee (talk) 18:37, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

Merge Yog-Sothoth to Cthulhu Mythos deities I made an effort to find reliable sources that discuss Yog-Sothoth. Unfortunately, there are not many that are not already in the references section. It doubtful that this article could be improved beyond its current state. Furthermore, the majority of this article is plot-related information; there is little analysis of Yog-Sothoth's real-world significance. >>>Discussion Here<<<Susmuffin Talk 23:02, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

Merge (Initiated 1698 days ago on 28 August 2019) Please review and close the ancient Talk:Donajowsky#Article merge discussion. Merge The consensus is to merge:

Humanist Generation (Strauss-Howe Theory)
Reprisal Generation
Liberty Generation
Republican Generation
Gilded Generation (Strauss–Howe theory)
Missionary Generation

to Strauss–Howe generational theory per the discussion. The merge proposal has been opened for over 7 months and is ready for closure. Someone963852 (talk) 01:17, 10 November 2019 (UTC)

Merge Mars (Doctor Who) into Mars in fiction. Mars (Doctor Who) appears to be little more than fancruft. If this article has any useful content, then it belongs here. >>>Discussion Here<<<Susmuffin Talk 08:28, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Merge Phone surveillance into Cellphone surveillance. These cover the same overall content, and both are languishing pages despite being a very societally relevant topic. This is my first attempt at a merger so please feel feel to correct my process or conclusions if you disagree.Tecuixin (talk) 15:26, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Merge Peter Machin (footballer) into Peter Mackin; dated: October 2019. Proposer's Rationale: Peter Mackin is the player's correct name, as confirmed by the CWGC. Beatpoet (talk) 13:08, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

Merge studio craft into american craft. These two articles are speaking on the same subject and I do not feel there is a merit for two articles on the same subject. I have gone through the merge procedures and started a discussion pinging the original article creators. Terasaface (talk) 05:50, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Merge Proposed Article Name: Bengali temple architecture

Reason: Bunch of Wikipedia:Stubs without no big hope of expansion and about one and only topic i.e Bengali temple architecture — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a0a:a546:2372:0:ec50:65df:6661:9426 (talkcontribs) 22:32, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Merge Chronic gastritis into Gastritis. The two articles cover much of the same content. Walidou47 (talk) 20:50, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

Merge Category:Films about street gangs into Category:Gang films. This unnecessary distinction only seems to cause more problems than it solves. I think most people would assume that a gang is a street gang unless otherwise concretely specified. With this unnecessary distinction, one would have to ask by what criteria and by what authority a street gang would be legitimized into another type of gang. That's a lot of ambiguity and the ability to answer these questions definitively seems outside of the scope of the capabilities of Wikipedia. --Nicholas0 (talk) 19:36, 5 December 2019 (UTC)

Working Closed as consensus reached to merge. @Czar: or other interested editor should proceed with a "redirect with possibilities." GenQuest "Talk to Me" 17:08, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Not usually editing Wikipedia, but I found that Powder box treats the same as Powder flask. I would perhaps just redirect the stub Powder box and merge the Wikidata, and add the Wikimedia Commons box for commons:Category:Powder boxes to Powder flask, but then again there is commons:Category:Gunpowder flasks overlapping with the former and I have to point out that there is to be done something on Commons too. Fay Freak (talk) 01:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Done What's to merge, really? It's only one sentence. Redirect done. Commons is ok - there are two large boxes, not personal ones, and boxers is a sub of flasks. Johnbod (talk) 03:18, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Merge Italian six-hour clock and Thai six-hour clock into Six-hour clock, as both articles are representing the same thing. --Soumyabrata (talksubpages) 06:44, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

Not done: these were disambiguated for a reason. Two differing systems of time keeping, with one starting 6 hours before the other. Feel free to try being BOLD with a merger. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 06:08, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Merge Gwynne Gilford to Chris Pine#Early life. It's quite obvious that she doesn't meet the notability guidelines but it's not worth deleting completely. If I boldly merged it myself inevitably someone would undo it. Trillfendi (talk) 20:51, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

  • Cmnt: @Trillfendi: should perhaps consider as an alternate request a merge of the Gwynne Gilford article with the article on her husband, Robert Pine, as is more a standard practice in Wikipedia articles with respect to questionable notability. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 10:26, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
  •  Not done: no consensus to merge these is indicated, although it could possibly survive a BOLD-merge. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 06:08, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Merge New Conservatism (China) into Neoauthoritarianism (China). New Conservatism is now recognised as a temporary rebranding of Neoauthoritarianism, and more recent sources tend to favour the latter term. Merge Mindset List to Beloit College. I think that the content in the article about the Mindset List the college has can easily be explained in the context. And I'm not sure if the merging would cause any problems as far as the size of the article it should be moved to is concerned. Pahiy (talk) 01:47, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Merge KK Sloboda Tuzla into OKK Sloboda Tuzla. In general, it's the same basketball club, only the legal entities are different. I agree on that legal change must be mentioned it the article. And there is no sufficient information to have it in two stub articles. There are also a few examples where are two legal entities of the same basketball club in the same article. --IndexAccount (talk) 06:14, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

Merge KK Beobanka into KK Vojvodina Srbijagas. NIS took over the founding rights of and became the owner of the entire capital of KK Beobanka. Then, they moved the club from Belgrade to Novi Sad, Serbia. It's basically the same club, like Lions Vršac and Radnički Kragujevac. Also, Vojvodina Srbijagas is also defunct now so it would be better to have everything in one article. --IndexAccount (talk) 06:14, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

Notgain (talk) 07:35, 18 July 2019 (UTC) Just wanted to add that the merger of Classical Adlerian psychology with individual psychology is less complicated than merging Classical Adlerian psychotherapy and some of the other topics. Merge Erin Mathews to either of the following: Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch Super Monsters Geronimo Stilton (TV series) or Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Not a notable voice artist to begin with and blatantly neglects the WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG. But there are some voice actors from the country that lives right above us that don't have articles, e.g. Crawley, Amos. (Arnold from Magic School Bus, season 1 only) If someone invents an article about him, IMDb or his MSB wiki page CANNOT be used as reliable sources at all. As for this one, her page has to be deleted and redirected to the four aforementioned shows. And one more thing: The photo on her search results should be a high-quality one of Edwards, Perrie. Merge Rocky Mount-Wilson CSA into Rocky Mount-Wilson-Roanoke Rapids CSA. Duplicates articles that cover the same CSA. Can confirm that the article ending in Roanoke Rapids is correctly named via the census website, but beyond that there appear to be differences in the respective articles about what counties and towns are in the CSA. Would appreciate anyone who has experience with census related articles to offer any feedback. aegreen (talkemail) 20:17, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

Merge Greater Raleigh-Durham CSA into Research Triangle. It appears both cover CSA information. It seems convention is to only have one article for the CSA and the "nicknamed" region (e.g. see Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, NC Combined Statistical Area redirect to Piedmont Triad). Am open to the direction that the merger should go, though, if this deduction of convention is wrong. aegreen (talkemail) 21:10, 25 July 2019 (UTC) Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC Combined Statistical Area does already redirect to Research Triangle so this may not be controversial. aegreen (talkemail) 21:38, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

Merge I propose to merge World Ocean into Sea. Looking at the ledes, World Ocean begins by noting that the world ocean is known colloquially as the sea. Sea, meanwhile, notes up top that it is alternately referred to as the world ocean. Taken together, this would indicate to me that they are about exactly the same topic, and thus should be combined. Sea, as the far more established article, is the obvious destination for the merger. Sdkb (talk) 19:13, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Merge tenosynovial giant cell tumor (a redirect with possibilities), pigmented villonodular synovitis and Giant-cell tumor of the tendon sheath. Initiating this merger discussion to ask the community for guidance on how to go about ensuring that tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) is accurately defined on Wikipedia. (NOTE: I am proposing this discussion for FleishmanHillard on behalf of Daiichi Sankyo. I am a paid editor and am aware of the COI guidelines.) Jon Gray (talk) 01:26, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

Done but  Not done I believe the request centers on Tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) being a synonym of Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVS); so merging is not particularly necessary, as far as I can see. Merge North Caucasian Huns into Huns. North Caucasian Huns is a stub and only has one source I'd really consider reliable. I propose merging it to Huns. The vast majority of scholars believe that the North Caucasian Huns were descended from or closely related to Attila's Huns, including Denis Sinor, Peter Golden, Otto Maenchen-Helfen, and Jin Hyun Kim. There's no real reason to give them their own article. Additionally, the article currently falsely gives the impression that the North Caucasian Huns are the "Khunni" mentioned in Ptolemy.--Ermenrich (talk) 15:07, 14 December 2018 (UTC)

Claytronics is an abstract future concept that combines nanoscale robotics and computer science to create individual nanometer-scale computers called claytronic atoms, or catoms, which can interact with each other to form tangible 3D objects that a user can interact with. •  Done – proposal was unsigned, but proposer has gone ahead and merged the articles anyway, so this proposal is moot. Richard3120 (talk) 14:25, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

I want to add the Wikipedia Irish language Vicipéid link for Cabra (Language: GA / Page: An Chabrach) to the Cabra Wikipeida EN page but I dont know how to merge it (I usually do know how to link to pages in general but the Vicipéid page is already listed as a label for this English language page and I don't know how to merge a second time although have tried.). Could somebody who knows how please do it? (Note GA is for Irish language as distinct for GD which is for Gaidhlig / Scots Gaelic- the Scots Gaelic version of the Cabra page links on the Cabra Dublin Ireland page and the Irish language version doesn't which is suprising). •  Not done – this was actually more a technical request to add interlanguage links to a page, rather than merge two articles. This has now been solved and the proposer has withdrawn the request. Richard3120 (talk) 12:33, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Merge Go-Lion to Beast King GoLion. Dwanyewest (talk) 14:28, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

  •  Not done – Go-Lion is already a redirect to another article, this query is a redirect for discussion, rather than a merge. Richard3120 (talk) 02:10, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

  •  Not done – article doesn't exist, therefore nothing to merge. Richard3120 (talk) 02:10, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
