The Wikipedia Negeri Sembilan Meetup 1 was the first Wikipedia meetup held at Negeri Sembilan, one of west coast state of Peninsular Malaysia. The meetup held on:

  • Event name: Alam Terkombang Jadikan Guru
  • Date: Sunday, 15 October 2023
  • Time: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Venue: Perkampungan Raja Teromba, Juasseh, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia (as meeting point)

  • Portable modem (there may be no access to Wi-Fi at the venue)

  • This will be the first time Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia organize a program with one of the participant of Malaysia's National Heritage Living Person (WAKOH) award, Assoc. Prof. Datuk Paduka Dr. Mohd Rosli bin Saludin, who experts in Teromba (ms:Teromba) and Negeri Sembilan custom.
  • “Alam terkombang jadikan guru" or in Minang phrase, "alam takambang jadi guru" (nature unfurled becomes a teacher) is a Minangkabau philosophy and a local wisdom that guides how to think, feel, act and behave in people and/or groups of people in various aspects of life.[1]
