Userpages[edit]

Do you know if it's possible to create categories in userspaces? --sonicKAI 19:58, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can make lists, but not proper categories. -- Steel 20:08, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Kelly kelly.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kelly kelly.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 22:15, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Kelly kelly.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kelly kelly.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 22:15, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bus highlighting again[edit]

Although to be expanded i went ahead and decided to highlight what i know to be limited services in the 600s in Papaya whip. If this is okay, maybe it should be applied to all limited bus services. Simply south 19:35, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD problems[edit]

I've recently found that since the creation of WikiProject London Transport that everyone is out to create their own bus article. None of them are done that well, including yours (no offence). These articles are:

  1. London Buses route RV1
  2. London Buses route T31
  3. London Buses route 157
  4. London Buses route 181
  5. London Buses route 130
  6. London Buses route 124
  7. London Buses route T33
  8. London buses route T32
  9. London Buses route C1
  10. London Buses route A10
  11. London Buses route 410
  12. London Buses route 312
  13. London Buses route 328
  14. London Buses route 202
  15. London Buses route 197
  16. London Buses route 196
  17. London Buses route 194
  18. London Buses route 28
  19. London Buses route 185
  20. London buses route 26
  21. London Buses route 91
  22. London Buses route 75

We need to stop people creating anymore bus articles until these are cleaned up, or we'll have more up for AfD --sonicKAI 02:57, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you remember you said in the to do box -
Convert each bus route to an article.
I followed the template to make the C1 and RV1 articles. These two routes are two of the most famous routes in London and the two to cause the most controversy. You can remove or add as much information to the articles as you like over time not straight away. If it is because the infobox is not filled properly then I am sorting it out now, I just need those last few details. It would also be helpful if you can tell me what garages C1 and RV1 operate from as the Travel London and First London don't tell me, you could sort these out to. Thank you for your concern. Unisouth 09:39, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The articles you've done don't look as bad as the others that have recently been created (181, 130, 157), but we need to work on these before creating new ones. There are currently 2 active AfDs on articles because that have not been done that well.--sonicKAI 14:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. C1 is operated out of Walworth Road and RV1 is operated out of First Hackney.--sonicKAI 14:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the Garage details. The infobox journey time parameter also doesn't seem to be working so you help C1 and RV1 on that. As for the others, all they need are some extra history details and for all the template to be incorpored into the articles. There is already a link to the template from WikiProject transport and I will put up an urgent notice in the to do box:
Make sure all London Buses articles fully comply to the template and have all the infobox details filled in.
template will have a link incorporated to the London Buses template. The LT project participants are trying to help improve all London Transport articles to their best and this takes time so please stick with it. Thank you for your help. Unisouth 16:06, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

London Buses Route 42[edit]

Route 42

I've completed the route History etc. for the 42, but I've no idea where you get the bus stop information from, timings etc., can you help? Also I'd like now to write the 55, 48 & 56 (all not that complicated).. or the 41(more complicated) ..could you give me some subpages?--IsarSteve 10:14, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Since I wrote the above, I noticed you've written that the articles are not all standard and are sometimes not well written. Do you want me to continue??..If not I'll stop.. --IsarSteve 20:29, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
