One Hit Wonders

Hello, I see that your name is listed quite a few times on the 'List of one-hit wonders on the UK Singles Chart' article/talk-pages.

Do you still have all the old Guinness books to hand? I still own most of them (from the 1980s onwards) but they are in the loft with only the Virgin/Official Hit Singles and Hit Albums books to hand. If you still have the Guinness books can you have a look to see if the number ones list was billed/referred to as 'Ultimate one-hit wonders' rather than 'one-hit wonders'...as that is an important fact, elevating them above all the standard one-hitters in the Top 75 chart. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.169.1 (talk) 16:04, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Eurovision entrant... Dave Benton (born 31 January 1951, birth name Efrén Eugene Benita) is a pop musician from Aruba who lives in Estonia. He is one of the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2001. At the age of 50 years and 101 days at the time of his victory, Benton is the oldest singer ever to win Eurovision, as well as the first Black winner. Born Efrén Eugene Benita in 1951 on the Caribbean island of Aruba, he was fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento, the creole language of the island. As a drummer and a backing vocalist, he worked with The Drifters, Tom Jones, Billy Ocean, José Feliciano and The Platters. Benton's daughter Sissi participated in Eesti Laul in 2021 with the song "Time", attempting to follow in her father's footsteps and represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. She qualified to the superfinal, where she placed second.

cover art of cover recording not contextually significant to the song previously recorded by a band. no proof that omitting this file harms understanding of the whole song
