Reverting Updates about BTOB

If the awards from International K-Music Awards are not notable then you should check other KPop groups with awards came from them like Monsta X, etc. Thank you. Note: All awards, notable or not. are still awards.
No they are not, this is an encylopedia and not a fan site, ALL awards must pass WP:GNG. And "the other groups have them, so they can have them too" is not a reason either per WP:OTHER, feel free to go and delete all fan awards from Monsta X or other groups, they should have been deleted anyway but its just that nobody deleted them yet. It must passes WP:GNG criterias, i.e. has published news from neutral sources (newspapers, news sites etc.), and ideally it should held a ceremony for the winners as well. Yes it should be deleted, you can delete them if you want to since they are just a web-poll voting from gossip news site, which doesnt have any credibility and notability. It should not be included here since it is not an actual award, it could be mentioned in the "career" section at BTOB article that they finished in 1st place on immortal songs 2. Its wrong to write "2016" in the table while they won on one episode in January, someone who would be reading it would thought that they were the overall 2016 winners of entire show or something. Why would you list something in the article if it is not actually counted towards their awards, just because, for fun? Every award listed in the article must pass WP:GNG, so that "International kpop awards" or whatever they are called will be deleted, those awards are same web-polls from kpop blogs/news sites just like soompi awards, allkpop awards etc. Snowflake91 (talk) 16:49, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Since you are always insisting about the notability of an award received by BTOB, let me just inform you that in the awards and nominations received by BAP the awards from Allkpop, KMC, KoreanUpdates and others which you insist that are not notable are actually included on their list. As I already said, DELETE non-notable awards from all other groups, and not add them to other articles instead, inclusion criteria for awards are clear; see WP:Other, just because other articles are plagued with fancruft material, it doesnt mean that all articles should be. Fan Award

I do not know what you mean by removing all the fan awards for EXO. I think it's okay to add because all the awards fall under the category 'Awards and nominations', although the award was purely from a selection of fans. I'm not upset with your behavior, but if you want to remove the fan awards, doing to all artists. I still find some of the Wikipedia page that lists So-loved and Soompi - you must remove it as well. As far as I can see, there are no awards that are supported by the source 'btsdiary' and yes, I do believe that this is not a reliable source however allkpop and soompi are quite reliable. The Soompi Awards even provide the winners with an actual trophy. Fan voted awards, however, I believe should be included as there are award shows such as 'Teen Choice Awards' purely based on the votes, that are obviously considered notable. As far as I can see, all the awards are cited by a source, whereas some other idol pages are not even cited by a source, so if one is to interfere with awards that are cited with a source, I believe that is unjust to other pages that are not User talk:SamTaker

Football charts

"whats the point? All opponents and progress and results are already in the table below" But this chart shows the team's progression throughout its history in a visual way, you can't grasp that as well with the vertical tables with the results. I believe they complement each other, the chart provides synthesis and the tables insight. You can grasp a notion of the team's history at the European stage and then go down to learn about each season's results. Can I repost it? Pakhtakorienne (talk) 20:53, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

The table below is a visual progression throughout the history as well, and its much easier to read. I think its better without it, and the table is completely wrong anyway, for example, for the group stages – why is there "Schalke" in the "Round of 32" (this stage doesnt even exist anymore) for 2014-15 Champions League, its only causing confusion since someone would thought that Schalke eliminated them while in fact it was a group stage, and the other 2 teams in the group are not even mentioned, while in the second table it is clearly shwon which teams played in a group. But the Champions League's group stage is actually a round of 32 even if it isn't called that way. And if could be said that Schalke actually eliminated Maribor as it was the closest, "key" opponent when it comes to progressing or not. At the same time the 1 sign shows it's a group stage and there's an explanation above.
Overall the chart shows in one look when the team faced certain teams from certain countries at a certain stage of the competition throughout history within the competition format's evolution and provides a visual outline of the team's historical trajectory in it. I'd say it's hard to get a grasp like this by looking at the tables. Anyway the chart was discussed yesterday at Wikiproject Football, and several users were okay with it as long as it's posted in the team's European sub-article. The competition's stages are strange in that table, another example is Europa League – why is group stage under "Preliminary stages", and Intertoto cup was played as First, Second and Third round in 2006 & 2007, so its again misleading saying "semifinals" and "finals" since there were 11 matches in the third round. I'd say the Europa League's main stages are from the Round of 32 onwards, several contenders to the title don't take part in the group stage. As for the Intertoto, regardless of their name they had the same "position", it was a three-stage competition and that's why they're at the right side of the chart. What the chart shows is how much stages is a certain stage away from the end of the competition, with individual categories for the five final stages and an "umbrella" for the earlier ones, I think it's the most intuitive and clear way of synthesizing an evolving competition in a chart. The "preliminary stages" could be renamed "earlier stages" but anyway I don't think it's misleading unless the titles are taken literally. Anyway my point is that I think this chart provides a different outlook on the team's historical progression in the competition and complements the tables below, and I don't think it's confusing if it's taken as it's meant to. I've made some adjustments to it, like removing super cup / club world cup (useless for clubs which will never play that), couple of colours were wrong (Partizan 2006 and Sevilla 2014 were green instead of red), corrected club names (Besiktas --> Beşiktaş, Zeljeznicar --> Željezničar etc.), and also use ndash instead of hyphen for seasons per manual of style rules ("–" instead of "-"), if you have any ideas for improving it feel free to edit Snowflake91 (talk) 10:41, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Yes, please, but it's complicated. Old Železničar logo was used from late eighties (cca 1990) untill 1997. The blue Ljubljana logo was an alternate logo used here https://web.archive.org/web/20031026054231/http://www.liga.simobil.si/ljubljana.asp and in SNL magazines (http://shrani.najdi.si/?0/PT/I29DCUd/nk-ljubljana-5.jpg). The club had no clear logo policy in 02-05, but basically they had two logos, regular one and sponsored (Viator&Vektor) one for the first team.Linhart (talk) 13:09, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

I saw you changed the logo for NK Steklar. While i'm all for improvement, i would like to point out 2 problems: 1- the new logo is over cropped on the right side, and 2- IIRC, at the time i corrected the color using a different source. Logo Heads-up

Just wanted to let you know that, if a logo file already exists, there's no reason you can't just upload on top of the existing image and replace it.

I'd also let you know that, if the logo has a lot of extra transparent space in it, you might want to crop that out. And, as stated above, be sure to check to make sure the colors are right.

That said, I very much appreciate you finding higher quality logos (as long as they aren't too high resolution for fair use). So, thanks.

Thanks, I will try to be more careful about transparency white space, the problem with overriding exist files is that, well, they cannot be uploaded if the format is different – if existing image is .jpg format (shit format for logos), I cannot upload a .png or .svg format over that, so I need to upload it as a new file. Firstly thank you for creating FC Seoul Jersey. As you know, 2016 and 2017 Home jersey is same. But 2016 with FA Cup winners patch and 2017 with K League Classic patch. Patch is optional. Due to patch, Distinguish of jersy is too detail. We have to create jersey year by year. In my opinion. With all those additions in Slovenian PrvaLigs, what do you think about moving part of the content (specially those long tables, all-time table, all-time attendances, records) to a new page similar to Premier League records and statistics? @Linhart: I started the article at User:Snowflake91/sandbox, if you find any mistakes you can fix them here before the article will be published. Although the prvaliga website has many mistakes, Most consecutive losses for Izola should be 15, not 17, Most consecutive games without a win should be 31 and not 41, and "Brez neodločenega" 25 for Mura and Domžale is doubtful as well, I checked the schedules and there were only 22 draws in a row between 7.3.1999 and 19.9.1999, not 25 etc. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:57, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

I changed the tables, I actually tried to make it like that with 4 columns but had much trouble with {col} formatting. Fro those 1990s awards, I dont think thats official, its was voted by Dnevnik readers and not by players/media or someone else with more credibility, and it was awarded in January 1996, so it is only for the first half of the season or.... ? Hi Snowflake91, I came across the Sowon page through AfD, and I was rather surprised by some of the things I read there.

Your contribs suggest that you're a hardworking and experienced editor who does a lot for our community. Thank you. You were quite right to take the article to AfD. However, I wonder whether you could have done it in a different and better way.

You wrote to KJH, "you have no idea how Wikipedia works apparently". I think you were absolutely right about that! Why should they? They're a new user and it's reasonable to guess they're more interested in KPOP than online encyclopedias. That's why we have WP:DONTBITE. If I saw those messages full of unfriendly WP jargon, I'd be as scared or angry as KJH has been. I've left a message on KJH's talk page which suggests an alternative way. I'd hope we can still channel KJH's enthusiasm in a better direction.

I have a question about Nationality of Dejan Damjanović When he played Incheon and FC Seoul during 2007-June 2008, He known as Serbia nationality. But He changed Montengro and played for Montengro national team.

Did he change nationality? If he did when he change? or Is he currently dual citizen Serbia and Montengro? Please serch the nationality of Dejan on the Serbian and Montengro press?

I dont know, Montenegro didnt even exist before 2007, he would not make it to the Serbian team because he was not good enough back in 2007 so he opted to play for Montenegro, he is probably ethnic Serbian born in Bosnia, as far as I know you can have unlimited number of passports in Europe so he obviously has Serbian nationality as well Snowflake91 (talk) 10:02, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

The company revealed there were no plans for her to debut in any groups at the time." There are eight, maybe nine suicides in there. If the sourcing is seriously improved, maybe, but perhaps this should be more explicit, in the light of this and this and a million other (less reliable) sites. But I have a question about this one: I can't tell if Lay's Sina Weibo page is really his own or not, but it seems obvious to me that http://lay.smtown.com/ is run by SM, and not by Lay. "Official" website thus means the official company site, but not his personal site. The difference may be meaningless to you, but I have seen too many K-pop articles where the artists are treated (by way of templates, in text, etc.) as company-owned commodities, and of course we all know they are under serious contractual obligations that bind their private lives as well. Well, we typically take the IMDb profile (and I suppose the HanCinema thing is similar, though I'd pick IMDb over Han) as a professional link, not a personal. My argument above is that the SM site is a professional link, though it is of course a different one. You know, I kept the Weibo link because a. it was on top and b. it seemed personal enough. Maybe the Instagram link is best as a "personal" link--many use Instagram in the way others use Facebook or a website. @Witchying: Because Wikipedia is not a fanpage, variety shows are not notable per consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea/Popular culture. For the awards, the person who removed them, stated "unclear: most of these are not notable, even more aren't verified, some are not clear whether they're EXO or him. clean it up)", and I didnt see any improvements since than, every award needs to be notable and have a citation. In regards to adding Dejan Antonic's Chinese name, this was done based on precedent for other non-Chinese players who have played in Hong Kong. I am unfamiliar with the customs for footballers in Qatar or the Chinese mainland therefore, I can't speak to why they do or don't do it. However, if someone for example wished to add Hulk's Chinese name, I would have no objections.

I don't believe that adding a Chinese name for non-Chinese players would in any way mislead the reader into thinking that the footballer is Chinese. nath87 (talk) 00:18, 31 August 2017 (UTC)

Also in "Genre" table, you dont need to write "K-Pop Pop", this is weird, stick simply to "K-pop" or just "Pop".
