ChaalBaaz[edit]

Hi, I need some help. I'm currently working on the article ChaalBaaz and while adding the principal photography part, I cannot find suitable references. If you can kindly help me out by providing them, it'll be highly beneficial. I have searched a lot but still haven't come across any. Sahajitbro (talk) 07:02, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedited[edit]

Hi, I have just copyedited John 3:16 as a GOCE member. However, I am not very apt with theology – would you mind taking a look at the article and add more context to the tagged sentences? CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 12:36, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am also not an expert in theology but I believe that I have addressed all the issues in the article. —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 03:27, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I will take a look again later to fix all the remaining grammar issues. CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 07:01, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Book of Mormon pseudohistory[edit]

I'm of the opinion that the category belongs on that article's page, which you added. It was reverted, and when I re-added it, it was removed again. Seems like there's a sizable Mormon base among editors that doesn't like that category. Where to go for discussion on something like this without involving people with a conflict of interest? JimKaatFan (talk) 20:28, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@JimKaatFan: I know. I never hear people anyone who study this book ever prove anything it mentioned in history. While people try so hard to be as neutral and encyclopedic as they can while editing about Jesus (especially his resurrection, which has many apologists), the Book of Mormon (which I think is more famous than him for being so controversial) got little attention from those neutrality warriors. If you want to start a discussion, you can go the talk page for every articles. For the Book of Mormon, visit Talk:Book of Mormon. —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 22:13, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Involving people with a conflict of interest (one way or another) is pretty much unavoidable anywhere on Wikipedia, since they're the ones most likely to have any affected articles watchlisted. Anyways, besides your suggestion of taking it to each individual articles talk page which is certainly a valid approach, I think WP:NPOVN might be the most appropriate board to address the whole category/categories in one location (which, as I just now indicated on Talk:Historicity of the Book of Mormon, are my thoughts for moving forward, but YMMV). Cheers. VernoWhitney (talk) 15:08, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@VernoWhitney: Oh, I didn't know that such page exists. Thank you for telling me that. I will start a discussion there ASAP! —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 04:21, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@JimKaatFan: and @VernoWhitney: Oh my goodness, I am too scared to start a discussion on WP:NPOVN. Once I click the button publish, many pings will appear in my notification. Would you like to help me? It's not a force. If you say yes, I will start the discussion. If no, I will not. I am too scared, once again! —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 08:02, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't get discouraged[edit]

I understand your frustration - precisely because I ran into the same types of things at a different topic, and I actually took a long break from editing entirely. Another editor brought me back by working on a different article that I'd put some effort into, and I realized that quitting is not the answer. The answer is to engage in discussion and try to enter factual information while removing non-factual information. If you run into resistance, I have found that discussion, and inviting more discussion from uninvolved editors, will usually result in truth triumphing over everything else. If I can help you with any topic, please don't hesitate to ask. JimKaatFan (talk) 12:18, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@JimKaatFan: The Mormons will use this premises of argument:
  1. We believe in X (the Bible, containing the Old Testament and the New Testament) and Y (the Book of Mormon) to be historical.
  2. The X contains story that is primarily unproved by archaeology, therefore it is mostly mythical, as is Y, but the X does not included in the Pseudohistory category.
  3. Therefore, the Book of Mormon is not either.
Just see the way the argue here. They will bring another thing that seems like what they are talking about in order to validate their argument, which is stupid. The way they argue will not lead you to anywhere but the waste of your valuable lifetime. They seem do not realise that the Bible never claims to be written by the hand of God but actually a record written by humans but they will not stop there; they will bring other religious texts such as the Quran, the Kabbalah, the Bhagavad Gita, etc. Please rethink to argue with them; it is easy if you are talking only to one person, at least if they did not call you boring, but if there are many, it will be a huge problem. —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 12:30, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, it's just the internet. Even if I did have a huge number of people calling me "boring" or anything else on these talk pages, I can't see how that would affect my real life. Therefore, it wouldn't be a problem for me. JimKaatFan (talk) 12:34, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Qur'an, is not suitable as written to remain published. It is far too extensive a summary, and it is strongly biased in support of the authors views. The discussion of reception ofthe book includes only sources opposed to Islam. Please see WP:NPOV and rewrite accordingly. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. An article you recently created, What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Qur'an, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Pakeezah articles[edit]

Hi. I was intending to review Pakeezah for GA, but I then noticed that you had also created Production of Pakeezah as a separate article and placed it for GA too.
