proposed deletion of article Dudekula[edit]

Proposed deletion of Dudekula[edit]

The article Dudekula has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The cited reference is not reliable and no other relevant citation which supports Dhunia and Dudekula and one and the same

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AAP Manifesto (2013 Delhi Assembly) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Nizil (talk) 16:25, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Park View Enclave, Secunderabad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Park View Enclave, Secunderabad and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. License tagging for Image:Bonalu.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bonalu.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thanks for uploading Image:Gandipet1.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Gandipet1.JPG. The copy called Image:Gandipet1.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Hyderabad house.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 07:26, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a look at the page history of Nehru Zoological Park, you can see, that I changed nothing of the content. I added some links, and changed the layout of the article according to WP:MOS. I also asked the creator of the article, what the real name of the park is. The name change was performed by an IP user (Special:Contributions/62.23.212.170). Please have a closer look the next time, before you accuse somebody. Regards, Tirkfltalk 12:45, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Haleem[edit]

Just because i haven't been bothered to create a user name, doesn't make my contributions any more or less meaningful. While Biryani may be a popular dish, it doesn't really fit the article. Perhaps if you are so inclined, a see also of Indian cuisine might be useful.

Otherwise there are thousands of other indian dishes, be fair, add them all, otherwise you're showing your bias on which ones you judge to be popular or good. 2 paragraphs to describe the dish, perhaps a sample recipe, followed by a list of the every indian dish we can think of. --67.112.123.22 04:58, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Himayat nagar[edit]

A tag has been placed on Himayat nagar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. License tagging for Image:DoubleKaMeetha.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DoubleKaMeetha.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Three merges[edit]

Just redirect MG Road, Hyderabad, etc. to whichever one of those pages should be the main page. It looks like Mahatma Gandhi Road, Secunderabad is the original article from which these are all derived and is probably the best location for the article, so make your changes there and merge any additional information found in the other pages and then redirect them all to that one page. —Centrxtalk • 02:15, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi randhir, The idea of putting up paradise hotel image was good. But the image is not upto the standard of an encyclopedia. No one wants to see hanging wires obstructing the view of the hotel. Remember that viewers all over the world watch wiki. The image could be taken from a different angle giving a good view of the hotel as well as the traffic. The photo if taken in the evening would be good with the lights. Cephas 405 (talk) 09:39, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Abdulfattah Jandali, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Abdulfattah Jandali. clpo13(talk) 10:13, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tirumala Venkateswara Temple[edit]

Hi., I was one of the major contributor to the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple wikiarticle. While it is famously known (incorrectly) as Tirupati temple, but the correct reference in all formal channels is by it's correct location - Tirumala. I request you re-move the article to Tirumala. --59.92.58.186 (talk) 16:43, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the anom message last time around. I have made the change as the correct reference of the temple is the Tirumala temple though it might be popularly known as Tirupati temple. Hence i have made suitable modifications in the lead. The point of reference for me is the encyclopedic book "The Tirumala Temple" written by Dr N Ramesan in 1981 and published by TTD. Since you are so keen on contributing to this article, i request you to go through the book and add heavily to the article. Thanks & keep the enthusiasm flowing --Kalyan (talk) 18:10, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good work[edit]

Hi randhir, I see that you are doing some really good contributions. Localities in and around hyderabad have been developing consistently thanks to your efforts. But There are some buts also - try not to create artcles about minor things such as the previous chanchalguda jail or parkview enclave and the types. Secondly, see that the articles are structured properly, a small example is the Bowenpally article, which had the history section at the end of the article. Also Hotels and dhabas need not be a seperate section, as well as temples section. You can combine them into 'Culture and Recreation' or 'Culture and entertainment'. You might have not done that but it is just a tip. That way your articles would be much more expressive. Anyways keep up the good work! and let me know if you need any interesting pics Cheers Cephas 405 (talk) 14:41, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

new pics[edit]

Hi randhir, I've uploaded some new pics of Hussain sagar at wikimedia commons. In the commons website, type Hussain sagar in the search bar, you will be able to see some of the new pictures which i've taken recently in the evenings. Let me know your feedback....

Also try to come up with official population figures for hyderabad as well as greater hyderabad. The figures currently on the hyderabad article looks a bit over exaggerated, especially the population of greater hyderabad which claims to have 9.6 million. Spam in Cineblitz[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Cineblitz, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Cineblitz is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Cineblitz, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Spielberg[edit]

You will tell me what I have to do? Well I don't think I have to take lessons in editing and guidance from someone with as many warnings on his talk page as you.

I have undone what stands is violation of WP's policies. Please go and see what I have undone, please see my explanations in the edit summary. I always use the edit summary.

Spielberg is not a good standard (it is not even a WP:GA), and if his article contains mistakes, please see WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS. It will help you understand the matter.

Our standards are not derived from articles but policies and guidelines, like WP:BLP, WP:MOS, WP:POV, WP:UNDUE, WP:LEAD, WP:CITE, WP:V etc., all of which have been violated by you.

You keep thinking that there should be one standard for all the articles. It does not work this way.

You cannot add new sections like "presonal life" and "early life", when both of them contain one sentence each (WP:MOS), and they are unsourced (WP:CITE, WP:V). I can't see why there shouldn't be one nice section called "Biography", which will cover both of the subject's background and personal life. It is fully accepted when the amount of info available is small. Small sections are discouraged, more so unsourced ones. When we have much more info for both the subject's background and personal life, there can be two different sections.

You always violate WP:LEAD, removing everything from the lead and integrating into the body. So why wouldn't you read WP:LEAD first? Juhi Chawla's new image is probably copyrighted, because there is no even an explanation. Your talk page is full of such warnings re images? And you tell me what I have to do? Please don't make me laugh.

So please, before accusing other established and well-experieced editors of bad faith and bad editing, familiarise yourself with the above-mentioned policies. ShahidTalk2me 13:17, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're making me laugh again. It is the last message I'm writing to you. First, please read WP:NPA to learn how to talk to people. Unlike you, I know very well how an article should be written. You're talking to someone who has written a WP:FA (if you know what it means). If you need help in your learning phase, I will be more than happy to help you and guide you. But please learn what all the mentioned WP policies mean. I hope for you it was the last time you attacked me like this.
Short sections, I repeat, are discouraged. There is no problem with first collecting info and then making a well-written section. And then, what about sourcing them? You shouldn't leave any of these mid-way to other editors to continue. You have to be bold and expand. You have to know what can and what cannot be written. YOU have to respect others. Because your last message to me was a great expression of disrespect.
You say many things, you criticise me. Don't you think it's better to first look at your work, and then criticise others? I don't like criticising others, but here I'll make an exception. All the articles you have created did not really impress me. Most of them do not comply with policies. Take for example some film article - Pooja, a poor article with little information. The Plot section says, hold it, "Its a love story"... is that a plot? If it has to be mentioned somewhere, it's in the lead. And even if it was mentioned in the lead, don't think it should be rather "It's a love story"? Grammar. See WP:FILM. Why wouldn't also cite some sources? See WP:CITE. But there is only one reference there, and it's sourced to a hmmm.... blog!!! See WP:RS. That too, before saying "Wikipedia is not a blog". Please don't send me any messages. ShahidTalk2me 13:58, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So exciting. Almost a Bollywood tearjerker. But that's the problem, you don't try to be a better contributor. You're doing nothing to go at least one step further, and your messages show that perfectly. My work on here does not give me any kind of superiority, just like yours does not mean you cannot improve yourself. Yes I like my talk page clean. I delete messages of those whose words I don't appreciate. I like to learn from criticism, but not from personal attacks. The next time you send me such an incivil message (btw, read WP:CIVIL), you will learn even more about policies, like WP:BLOCK. Consider it as a warning. Read the policies, learn to be polite, learn to respect those who actually try to help you, and above-all, learn to edit. Who knows, maybe after that your messages won't be removed. I will also surprise you and say that if you need any help, you can contact me. ShahidTalk2me 15:00, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You again misinterpret something. You should thank Blofeld for trying to guide you. The article does not even cite an IMDb link. But everything that comes to contradict your edits, you find it offensive, arrogant, disrespectful. You have sent me messages full of attacks and inappropriate remarks, and you still at the same? As I said, you don't try to be a better contributor. You're doing nothing to go at least one step further. Every edit of yours which will stand in violation of Wikipedia's policies will be reverted. Remember that. Your last message is one of them, you sent me one message in three sections - this is an absolute vandalism and WP:HARASS. I'm the one who couldn't imagine you could go tha length. And this is the second warning. ShahidTalk2me 16:31, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody is better. There is one who understands more and there is one, who, as of now--less. The message which I sent to Blofeld is our business. I did not expect him to edit the article at all. But he did, and it's good. He is a very busy editor, and yet, he took the time to give you one piece of guidance (as did I). And you as always, found it insulting. By saying that you don't try to go at least one step further, I mean that you don't try to improve your edits, your behaviour and your attitude, which is disheartening. And I strongly stand by my statement, and I find nothing threatening or illogical about it. Don't think I enjoy our unpleasant conversations. I have much better things to do than warning someone (something I have full right to do ). But I genuinely believe you have to familiarise yourself with WP's policies and guidelines for the sake of this project. It will help you a lot. I tried to look for an IMDb link for the film but didn't find. ShahidTalk2me 17:13, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Film guidelines[edit]

Hi. I appreciate all efforts to start articles on wikipedia and to expand our knowledge base. Wikipedia is indeed a learning curve and over time I hope you develop and mature as an editor and article writer. However if you are working on Telugu films or any films in general can you try to add a film infobox (you can copy one at Template:Infobox Film and some standard details and if you include a plot please write it in more detail. For instance see the layout of Bangaram. The only problem with that is that is is unreferenced. Please try to find more Reliable sources. References to blogs are not generaly accepted on wikipedia. For an article to have some form of notability it must have coverage in reliable solid publications/websites. You can see the Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Style guidelines for writing a good article on a film. Also try to avoid using WP:PEACOCK terms and POV words like "Superhit" as this affects the neutrality of the article. Hope you enjoy editing and find wikipedia an enjoyable site to work on. Best of luck editing! Count Blofeld 15:26, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me? Demeaning? I regularly come across articles needing development. Do you think my expand tag in the plot section which just includes the highly encyclopedic information "It is a love story" was unjustified? . I in fact removed one of the previous tags and replaced it with a cite tag instead. The claim that the song was a "superhit". As an "experienced" editor do you also not think that such a sweeping statement is not in need of a reliable source? I'm glad my attention was brought to it because if I had come across it in my course of editing more than likely I would have probably speedy tagged it for not being verifiable. but if you think that is the only Tmail or Telugu article needing working on and I somehow picked on you you're sorely mistaken. I regularly tag these articles for cleanup many of them are not evne verifiable. If you were an experienced contributor you would understand about reliable sources, POV and standard articles writing procedures and most of all good faith. Experienced editors do not add words like "superhit" to articles. From what I have seen of you Your attitude is no different from what I've seen from any of the IP anons I regularly come across. Perhaps if you started treating other editors with respect and followed our guidelines to style and fully understood that wikipedia isn't a blog you might in return be treated as the experienced editor you profess to be. AfD nomination of Roja Ramani[edit]

I have nominated Roja Ramani, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Roja Ramani. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 11:41, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. — dαlus Contribs /Improve 11:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your message[edit]

You aren't making any sense. I never created that article, and all you did is copy the message from there to my talk page. Why?— dαlus Contribs /Improve 12:15, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but no. I stand firm in my opinions, I have already cast my argument. If you disagree, then make your argument on why it hsould be kept on the discussion page for the article's deletion.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 12:21, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't believe you, given your editing style, the messages on this page, and the fact that your signature does not follow policy. It needs to have link to your userpage or talk page, otherwise it is disruptive because it show that you do not want people to find your page. As I said above, I am not changing my opinions. If you want to the article to stay, and, if you were an established editor, you would know that the only way to do such a thing is to reach a consensus as a keep over at the article's entry for deletion.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 12:39, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
By the way. Being established means you have a firm understanding of policies and guidelines, along with the way things work around here. Per your edits, it is obvious that you do not. The length of time you've had an account here means nothing.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 12:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not being judgmental about anyone, I'm going off of what I see, and what I see is a user who thinks the time that their account has been active gives her the right to push others around. You've said you're established, but I've seen no evidence of such a thing. You've shown you have no understanding of policy, and even more so, you continue to not link your username to your talk page or userpage. If you want me to show some good faith, how about you at least show that you deserve it. Try to follow policy around here. A good way you could start is by showing that you want to communicate with others, and a good way to do that is to link your signature with either your talk page or your userpage.
Lastly, if you were an established editor as you continuously say you are, and which, at every passing moment, I believe less and less, you would know that google hits do not establish notability. I've asked you once, I'll ask you again. If you have any opinions on the deletion of this article, talk it out at the deletion discussion page for said article. I have nothing further to say on it, so stop trying to push me around to get an answer by trying to guilt-trip me. It won't work, it won't ever work.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 15:36, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your additions[edit]

Hi Randhirreddy, could you have a look at the Roja Ramani article? I added some references and a movie, but I'm not sure where to categorize it. Thanks for your contributions. ChildofMidnight (talk) 18:53, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your Signature[edit]

It is against policy, you must supply either a link to your talk page or to your user page, as per WP:SIG. This is your first warning, if, after this warning, you do not change your sig, I shall issue a second. If you continue to disregard policy, then I shall begin an AN/I report on you, on which a signature change will be forced as per policy.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 03:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hello:)[edit]

Yes I agree some of that seems a bit heavy-handed IMHO, anyway, your sig is ok now so no-one can complain.:) As for the AfD, I don't know enough about the article's subject, but I advise you to just see how it goes, as one user has already voted, and voted 'keep'. Reply to accusations made on my editor review[edit]

I have replied there, but for the sake of simplicity, I shall copy it below:

Do me a favor, in fact, do all of us favors, and do not make baseless accusations. Along with responding here, I shall respond on your talk page. First, I never threatened you with any consequences. I nominated an article you created for deletion. It has nothing to do with you, but you obviously thought otherwise, and as a result, you pestered and pestered me about my nomination again, again, and again on my talk page. I repeatedly told you to take it to the AfD, and not me, as that was the place to argue for a keep. Next, per your comment about labeling others' articles. I suggest you read WP:OWN. No-one here own anything, it is all owned by the wikiMedia foundation, so don't you try to pass that off as an argument that holds water. Third, I do not need knowledge on this actress to have a meaningful discussion on her, all I need to know is that the article meets wikipedia's inclusion policy. If it does not, it is deleted, if so, it is kept. It is simple as that, everyone here is qualified to edit every article, your assumption that I am not qualified to delete it is against the spirit of things here. Fourthly, I actually pointed out your signature several times in my replies to you, and every time you made not hint that you had read my text, or acknowledged me on that subject in any way.

Fifth, your sole reason for communication with me, had nothing to do with good faith, but it did have everything to do with pestering me about the nomination I did until I withdrew it, don't paint a bar of lead gold, and then call it gold. Lastly, if you make accusations against any editor, then you provide diffs to back them up, period.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 23:30, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yes, here, let me back up some of my own notes:

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:PJ.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:13, 7 December 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 14:13, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Richa Sharma (actor)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Richa Sharma (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ww2censor (talk) 19:51, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keep up good work[edit]

Pantula Rama Article[edit]

Hi Randhir, Excellent work. But in your zeal to contribute and quest for brevity, you are making edits that actually either negate the objective or a particular fact or distort the intended sense. For example - Rama never did her advaned training in Calicut, though IVR lived in Calicut for more than 5 years. She was an infant then. Your edits made it look like that. Also in the singing career section, you made edits to finally arrive at a sentence that mentions about starting sahana varnam etc... that is a sentense from a concert review and can't be quoted out of context.

Your article on Malladi bros is very good. Though, in time, I am sure you will clean up the paragraphs and grammar etc.

Insofar as making the article conform to Wiki standards goes, you are doing an excellent job. But beyond that you are making the article lifeless by removing the subtle naunces that give it a spirit. Please let me know when you intend to make edits to the facts themselves in this article on Pantula Rama. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rkalanidhi (talkcontribs) 17:15, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Randhirreddy. You have new messages at VasuVR's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

May 2009[edit]

Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Sharmila Tagore[edit]

I understand that it may be difficult to find sourced information, but just because we find information in a source, does not mean that it is appropriate to add to an article. WP:IINFO. If you want to add information about random relatives, you will have to find sources to include how / why they impacted the subject of the article and why she is notable. . If her uncle the actor provided the money for her to go to acting school, then we can mention that. If she says in an interview that how she played a particular role was inspired by a character in one of her great grandfathers poems we can include that. etc. But just because she had famous relatives is irrel. -- The Red Pen of Doom 10:22, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Meenakshi Natarajan.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Meenakshi Natarajan.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Speedy deletion of "Prahalad Kakkar"[edit]

A page you created, Prahalad Kakkar, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Proposed deletion of Abida Parveen[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Abida Parveen, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

no sources to indicate notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- The Red Pen of Doom 02:56, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

prodwarning[edit]

The article Sagar Mahal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

stub with multiple issues

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. January 2010[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. It appears that you are marking all of your edits minor when they clearly aren't just spelling correctionsl, formatting, etc. You are also failing to use edit summaries. This means that not only are you not communicating with other editors when you edit, you are potentially misleading editors. It may be that you have set 'my preferences' to mark all edits minor. If this is the case, please unset it. Dougweller (talk) 12:17, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Pootharekulu.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Pootharekulu.JPG.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 15:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Usman Siddiqui requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 14:23, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I withdrew the speedy request in favour of a prod; mention in a newspaper article was sufficient to assert notability, but the trivial mention doesn't seem to reliably indicate that the subject is actually notable. If you can find additional sources to back up the subject's notability to the satisfaction of WP:GNG or WP:ARTIST, you may safely remove the PROD before it expires. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 14:31, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Usman Siddiqui has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Single reference makes trivial mention of the individual, and at best he seems to fail WP:ONEEVENT.

The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion of "Ravinder Kaur"[edit]

A page you created, Ravinder Kaur, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia.

Thank you. Becky Sayles (talk) 04:57, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Paradise.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 23:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Needs Source[edit]

Your recent contribution(s) to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at How to cite sources. Thanks! (The Hans India)

At first glance, the copyright notice at this page appears to give broad rights to copy. However, I don't think that notice is compatible with WP licensing (specifically, it requires accurate reproduction, which would prohibit further editing). If you disagree,w e can discuss and get the license experts involved, but I don't think it is appropriate to copy the wording in any case, so the best course is to rewrite it in your own words anyway.--SPhilbrickT 22:02, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article creation[edit]

Hi, could you please stop creating stubs that consist of almost no information about subjects with questionable notability? If you can find only mentions of a singer or song, then you need to consider whether the subject fulfills a criterion of WP:MUSICBIO or WP:NSONG. Also, when you want to make a stub, use a stub template, not a category - categorization is automatic for stub templates. And please add relevant categories, like "Living people" to articles. Otherwise users like me spend lots of time cleaning up after you on User:AlexNewArtBot/IndianMusicSearchResult. Thanks Hekerui (talk) 12:35, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rahul Mishra has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. A tag has been placed on CII – Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.cii.in/About_Us.aspx?enc=ns9fJzmNKJnsoQCyKqUmaQ==. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on Anjali (actress), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WP:RFD#DELETE- Criteria #5, as CSD#G1. Redirect makes no sense. It redirects to a disambiguation page Anjali with a list of people with similar names. The disambiguation page is not a list of actresses whose name is Anjali. It is simply a list of people with that name, and for what Anjali is already an appropriate redirect.

The article Sitaram Naik has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Radhika Roy[edit]

The article Radhika Roy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

File permission problem with File:Aditi myakal.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Aditi myakal.jpg, which you've attributed to Aditi Myakal. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:15, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Randhirreddy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Telangana State Health Profile".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 18:45, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

TSiPASS - Reg[edit]

Randhirreddy

i welcome your initiative of creating TSiPASS. But it is not properly structured and many more important points of this system is lacking. Hence when you are writing an article i suggest you to atleast go through the details. Misinformation is more dangerous than no information.

Hope you take my criticism in a positive front and would like to see many more articles from you on Wikipedia.

Good Luck !!

Hello, Randhirreddy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences".

CptViraj (Talk) 18:06, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on The Hans India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Jyotipriyo Mullick. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Jyotipriya Mullick. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Jyotipriya Mullick. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Jyoti Roy (talk) 14:39, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
