We're discussing on the Talk:Sheet music about whether we should link to SMA or not. Please discuss there before adding the link again. Make your arguments good enough, and we could well decide that you're right.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 06:10, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:56, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of link to Sheet music[edit]

Greetings. I see that you're in strongly favor of including the sheet music archive link in the sheet music article. You're welcome to continue to express your view on the talk page, but since the major view there appears to be that the link should not be included (and instead, if the material is desired it should be copied into commons) you should not continue to insert the link. You last insertion gave me, and others, the impression that you were trying to sneak the link back in. Don't do that. Overly aggressive or sneaky external link insertion is something that Wikipedia blocks users for doing, and it may result in the URL being added to the URL blacklist. --Gmaxwell (talk) 14:57, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the .net version has been blacklisted, so I'd think any insertion at this point constitutes spam/vandalism without doubt. ♫ Melodia Chaconne ♫ (talk) 15:58, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And one other thing -- just consider how this looks. You have a page that NO MATTER THAT IT OFFERS SOME FREE ITEMS, chagres for some access. You continue using your account almost exclusively to push the site, now including an alternate URL to get around a blacklist, it very much seems as if you are pushing to drive people to your site to make money. It's really hard to =assume good faith any more at this point. You really haven't shown any reason outside of the fact it "has some free scans" that it needs to be added. ♫ Melodia Chaconne ♫ (talk) 16:09, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Benoît Mandelbrot, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diannaa (Talk) 04:41, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Benoît Mandelbrot. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. — SpikeToronto 04:42, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
