I wasn't disputing what you added, I reverted you because I saw it as a trivial detail unnecessary for the plot, and I subsequently trimmed other such details from the section. Military Data[edit]

Hi! Yes, I have raw data for numbers of military personnel, from 1789 to the present. From 1789 to 1995, the data come from *Historical Statistics of the United States*; more recent data comes from the web.
