I considered all the statements above and those received elsewhere. I also took note of not only all the threats members have received (none of which I can recall related to their BRC membership, but many of them have had only this image of themselves up), but also of the many who have desired membership to the BRC but were opposed to having their image on-wiki.

From this point forth, all images will be hosted on http://www.bathrobecabal.org. Any one wishing to join the BRC should make their request to me, Dfrg or Jayron either on one of our talk pages (or on IRC), as has been the standard, only now the request should be in text only and all image submissions should remain off-wiki. I have to say, with a heavy heart, that was a good decision Lara. My recent removal of images and deletion of all my pages was not related to the BRC image, but instead the one of my son. The photoshopped image I received from a spoofed e-mail address was truly sickening, and I would never want that to happen to anyone. Saying that, I am now none to keen to have my ugly mug up on the internet either. It's just too easy to get my RL identity anyway, so I don't want to compound the problem. Thanks Lara. As a mum (mom !) you can imagine what my wife went through when she saw the image we were sent. Alas, the police advice was "cancel your subscription to the website" .. Hmmmm!! Late to the party again (story of my life). I'm of a mind that if you put your personal information or photos on the Internet, what comes next is all in the game. Although I suggested it, I never really wanted to delete this cabal. I was mostly asking why some of the cabals I was associated in were deleted when some others where spared. That hadn't occurred to me, but now that you mention it...

I was merely commenting on the fact that it's interesting that after all the campaigning you've done against the BRC and the noms for deletion, votes for deletion, negative comments, etc, that you would not only want to join the BRC, but that you think we would grant you a membership, particularly after you've expressed a desire to nominate the BRC for deletion since the cabal debate closed in our favor, and instead chose to nominate our redirect instead. I mean, we are an open cabal, indeed. And we don't do anything, but we do have that whole "in good standing with the community" standard, which happens to be our only standard, and I'm not sure you meet that standard. You certainly didn't during the time of the big cabal debate. But now that you mention the possibility of a hidden agenda, that seems to be a reasonable assumption as well. Nah. We just took most of the stuff off-wiki because of privacy concerns. Pics can still be submitted on my talk page or via my email, but we don't host the images in my userspace anymore. :) Jennavecia ^(Talk) 03:25, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Posture!!!

I'm concerned about the poor posture demonstrated by our two cabal members pictured on the The Bathrobe Cabal article page. The head is too round and set far forward, indicating circular reasoning and a spine out of alignment. Such a slouching position may be endemic or may indicate an excessive amount of time hunched over keyboards while typing neologism and WP:FU2 to stifle debate.

Please note that I refer to physical posture, not be confused with posturing as seen on the Expelled talk page.
