Yeah. I was at her house all day today. Right now, I'm at home, but I'm going back over there for dinner and a sleepover. Poor Jupiter. He was only 3 years old. He died by choking to death. Early this morning, Leah's Mom let Jupiter outside so he could, you know,l do his "business". Supposedly, he went into the woods they have in their backyard and starting knawing on a stick. Hi Erik. Today's the day of the burial of Jupiter. Leah's family plans to bury the dog in their backyard, (where they found him). I'll be attending, and so will my sister. (They live right next door, so we can just walk over.) I felt so close to Jupiter, you know? My family's never had a dog, because my Mom's allergic to them and had a terrible experince with a dog when she was younger, so she's absolutely terrified of dogs. (A dog mauled her and almost ripped off her face when she was 5.) I always would babysit Jupiter when Leah's family went away, and I loved that dog. Wonder Woman

After looking over your request, reading through the discussion on the article's talk page, and digging through an archived discussion, I moved the pre-March 27 revisions to Wonder Woman (2009 film) following the discussion's instructions. After successfully moving these revisions, I attempted to restore the 32 edits (from March 27 onwards) to Wonder Woman (film) and in the deletion log it says that I restored them successfully. However, none of these 32 edits appear in Wonder Woman (film)'s history. I'm going to hold off on doing the same thing for the talk page until I can attempt to figure out how to restore the 32 revisions. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 21:05, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Okay, that's weird, there must have been some sort of delay. I was freaking out for a moment there, and searching frantically to find out how to restore those remaining revisions. This isn't that big a deal, but I was just initially worried after the revisions didn't appear immediately. Okay, I moved the pre-June 23 comments to the talk page of the 2009 article. I'm pretty sure I did what you asked for, but please let me know if there is anything else I need to do/fix. By the way, could you stop by and weight in on the recent discussions at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films/Coordinators? Starting a new film article

Heya. Looking to start the article on the 2008 film Brothel but, never having created a film article before (or any article for that matter), I am unsure how to proceed. I am guessing the article would be stub for a while, seeing as I cannot seem to find critical commentary for it yet. The only source I have found is at Imdb, and of course, that is of limited use to us here. Complicating matters is that 'Brothel' currently redirects to the definition article. Re: Publisher

This is where my apparent laziness came in. I read those names from the Wikipedia entries for the publications, without double checking, assuming the named publisher was the correct one to use. So, for something like MTV.com, I'd go for Viacom, rather than MTV Networks (which I've been using so far)? There's definitely some ambiguity here. Checking one from the SoP article, we have the Long Beach Press-Telegram. The publisher is explicitly stated to be Los Angeles Newspaper Group, but the overall owner is MediaNews Group. In terms of seeing the film, or improving the article? Yes on the former, though I've got a Hulk-sized backlog of films to get through before then, so it might have to wait until DVD. On the latter, it's something I've got watchlisted, but only half-heartedly so far (I don't check every edit). Do you want me to see if I can shape up the "Reception" section before the weekend? Yeah, that list does look kind of overwhelming. But I think it's possible to turn it into a reasonable (if short) article before the weekend without having to plough through all those. Once we've got this amendment to MOSFILM out of the way, I'll have a crack at the "Reception" section and maybe a couple of other bits and bobs I can identify as requiring attention. I'm going to make a start on the reception section this evening (I'll probably be a bit stop-start on it as I'm doing real-world stuff too), and if I get time after that I'll try to implement a couple of those headlines myself. Usually I wouldn't, but the RT page is a little light on reviewers I'd be happy to cite, and I found the review (by Drew McWeeny) to be of a depth and insight that writers for publications with a set word count would be unable to match. McWeeny is the only one on that site I'd ever consider quoting in a critical reception section, but if you think he wouldn't fit, I'll chop him out. Steve ^{T • C} 22:07, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Although they swear too much, I generally respect Knowles, McWeeny and Eric Vespe ("Quint") and think they do go into more depth than a lot of reviewers who are just there to inform the masses. For fantasy films it is important to note fan reaction, although it is preferred to use third-party sources to cover this in addition to some notable fan reviews. Knowles is a very infamous reviewer but I'd be ready to quote him over countless other blog sites like CHUD, Cinematical, /Film etc. Ultimately it all depends if you can't find another interesting similar opinion. See, I actually lean the other way. I think Harry Knowles is a bit of a hack who'd give a good review to Manos: The Hands of Fate if he thought it'd get him in with the filmmakers. I reckon Moriarty would get through, but it wouldn't be without an extended argument/discussion as to his suitability. My sincere apologies. I made a mistaken edit trying to revert vandalism and screwed up the article bigtime. I was trying to merely revert the edit by 12.109.157.2, and didn't realize that the error no longer existed in the current page. Thank you for your vigilance, and keep up the good work. Re: The Dark Knight

I've been trying to get a word in edgeways for the last 40 minutes. Every time I've written a couple of hundred words or so, I get an EC and find you've said what I intended to. I'm just going to leave it for a while, then try to explain in flippin' baby language the position of (I hope) WP:FILM to these links. I think we all compromise a little when we encounter a surly editor who is doing otherwise excellent work - we turn a blind eye to the odd snide comment - but with this guy I feel like when I make a correction he's passing his eye over it like a ruddy teacher ("I find most of those changes acceptable" - yeah, thanks). I can't even argue with him because he fills the talk page comments with so much unnecessary detail I lose the will to wade through it (I mean, come on, it's not necessary to spend ten minutes explaining each edit, then spend a further chastising the rest of us for not following your "prevailing citation format" that'll be thrown out as soon as it gets to FAC anyway). It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't seem to misunderstand everything that we're trying to tell him, and fill his replies with completely irrelevant comments about things you didn't even bring up. Hahahahahaha. Admins, disregard this so-called warning entirely. I checked the edit histories of the [article] and [article talk], and the article talk itself, and found NO contribs by Erik in the last few days to either page. This is being planted by NYScholar in a preemptive strike, to preclude Erik from complaining about NYScholar's behavior over at The Dark Knight, a film in which Heath ledger acts. the subtle (not really) connection and intimidation attempt would be obvious to Erik. No problem. It's not jsut false, it's a frame-up, i whole-heartedly believe. No other editor at that article has as set of talk and article contribs which match his accusations of false and attacking summaries agaisnt NYS. He/She/it/them/shirm seeks to discredit all opposition. I expect some other tactic to be used against me soon. probablhy an incivility warning/block, it's not unheard of. NYS will than assume that Steve can read the writing on the wall. Waste of our collective time. Production history of The Devil Wears Prada

Wondering if I could get your eyes on this - long story short is a question of whether or not a split was appropriate. I argued that it wasn't; the split away from the article was done anyway; a month passed with no substantial edits and a nearly-complete redundancy between parent and child articles; I decided to merge them back. Now I have an editor accusing me of "not acting like a Wikipedian" and abusing coordinator status (despite the fact that I very actively and consciously do not ever invoke it outside of project affairs). Oh yeah! It was beautiful! My family stayed w/ my aunt and uncle, who have a waterfront house on the North River in a town in Cape Breton called Baddeck. It was am,azing! Actually, I'm 16, so you kind of got the age group right. And I dunno if I'm interested in actaully writing articles in film, but maybe in tv shows. Re: Hancock

No, unfortunately. It's yet another that'll have to wait for DVD. Long story short, having a baby means we get to go to the cinema maybe once per month (down from once per week, pre-child), so we have to ration our visits carefully. I liked it a lot, as I expected to, having enjoyed similar tension-filled, door-slammy ghost stories like The Devil's Backbone and The Others. It's to its credit that I'm only now realising how derivative a lot of it was (though its success was partly due to a story that didn't quite take the path I expected. Hi Erik. Sorry I've not been able to offer you any input on your rework of WP:MOSFILM#Images so far, especially after all excellent suggestions you had when #Reception was up for a rewrite. It's not through lack of interest, but the truth is, I've seldom dived into the whole images and fair-use minefield in my year here, so I haven't had any thoughts worth passing on save "yup, that looks good so far", which isn't exactly constructive. Still, I thought I'd just drop you this message to let you know that I've been monitoring your drafts and, yup, that looks good so far. :) I'll have another look at it later on, see if I can actually come up with something helpful. You've just removed the Watchmen edit because you say it isn't the official trailer. Unfortunately it is, Brightcove is a PR agency in the UK who are actually hosting the trailer for Empire magazine (and they have done this loads of times for them in the past). Dark Knight

I have to say, it was pretty awesome. Ledger was phenominal as the Joker. Two-Face was pretty intense himself, and I wish we had had more of him. I understand the criticism about the film seeming like a constant climax. Most of the scenes were short and quick, and even the long scenes were spliced with shots of events happening across town. It was really like watching a 2.5 hour long trailer, the way that the scenes were shot. The scenes were just long enough to give you a good taste, but never quite entiraly filling. I don't know what they are going to do for a third film, because it certainly does not end on an open note. No one would be able to do what Ledger did, so the Joker is definitely out of the question if there is a next one. Hope you get to see it soon. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 07:39, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I didn't like Ratatouille as much as I should have, I love all the studio's movies but I don't have it (and A Bug's Life and Cars) on DVD. I'll definitely be getting this though: it wasn't just a great family film it was a true sci-fi classic. I think I'll really try to get this to FA of this summer's cream of the crop, moreso than Hulk and Indy (I think TDK really relies on everybody making valuable contributions, but I'm off the article until next week). Two-Face in The Dark Knight

Oh, it's not a problem, I see where you're coming from. I personally think Aaron Eckhart did a better job as Two-Face than Tommy Lee Jones--not to discount Jones's efforts in Batman Forever, but all he had on was purple makeup as opposed to the realistic, graphic showing of third-degree burns. I'd like to see maybe The Riddler and/or Catwoman. Possibly Two-Face coming back and having his role expanded, since it is ambiguous if he died or not and his character didn't get burned til about 2/3rd into the movie. I'd like to see the Joker come back as well but it would be hard to find someone to replace Heath Ledger, as Ledger did the unthinkable and topped Jack Nicholson. The only thing about the Riddler I worry about is if they go with the same terrorist plot with the Joker. While I did like the plot itself, I wouldn't want to see it rehashed with another villain. The Dark Knight

The fact that the votes are stacked is irrelevant because NO OTHER film in the history of the website has been able to unseat the Godfather, not even Return of the King and/or Star Wars 3. The fact that there was enough votes to unseat The Godfather is a feat in and of it self. There was tons of vote stacking for other movies. TDK

Wow, you really did enjoy it. I wouldn't mind Catwoman, because it seems that Nolan can take any of the characters from the previous films and make them better than they were. I think Jim Carrey did the Riddler too well to be replaced by anyone else though. That was the only highlight of Batman Forever. Taglines

I have reverted your removal of taglines from the articles I watch. The MoS is a Manual of Style, and cannot control content. Since the taglines were not presented as a seperate item, or in any way differently from any other piece of information, that makes them content the inclusion of exclusion of which is not something that a manual of style can determine. In point of fact, the tagline provides interesting information about the way in which a film is marketed at the time of its initial release, and is for this reason a valid addition to the article. I agree that taglines aren't so important that they should be flagged or put into a seperate section, but their inclusion in the body of an article, as I did, is perfectly legitimate, and should not be removed. That's some interesting thinking. Nolan does great work and he will only direct again if he knows he can make another great movie; I don't think he's in it as much for the money. However, the studio will definitely do what they can to please Nolan. I've seen talks of Catwoman, but I don't want the film turning into action/romance! I wouldn't be surprised if the series was over for a few years. There isn't much else to "top". The only successful trilogy that I can remember in recent years is the Lord of the Rings, which is one story spanning three films. Spider-Man 3 was awful. X-Men 3 was awful. In most of these cases, the first film sets up the characters, motives, etc., the second film is the best of the series, and the third one is a flop. It's disappointing. Batman Begins took place primarily in the Narrows and the areas where Batman trained in Bhutan, so that was most of the world that we knew; TDK blows the lid wide open and shows us most of the city, so there isn't much more for us to see. I'm already extremely satisfied with TDK and would only want a third film if it can be as good as at least Batman Begins, perhaps even a denouement to the series that shows how Batman finally "retires". Oh, talking about sequels, another one would be Godfather, which was really good, Godfather II, which was excellent, and then Godfather III, which goes without saying :) Also, regarding future superhero films like the Avengers and the Watchmen, I don't like big ensemble casts. The ones that focus on one character are more interesting to me, so therefore I like Batman and Spider-Man more than the X-Men, for example. There's more character development, it makes us more invested in the characters, etc. The big superhero groups are good, too, but to a certain extent. I think the hard part is in creating an ending to a series that is satisfying and worthy enough for three films. Usually, the second films are the ones where we finally see the limits to the characters' abilities. At the end, we see them do something magnificent, and once the film is over, we always remember them as doing that last magnificent thing. The third films usually ruin that because they then create a fixed denouement to the series rather than letting our imaginations tell us what happens after the second film is over. Well, the primary thing is that I wasn't aware Bale signed on for a third while Nolan didn't. That's kind of strange; I thought that Bale would have only wanted to work with Nolan. I'm sure the actors loved working with Nolan; he's quite the visionary. I have no problem with studios wanting to make money, because that's the first reason that they exist – to make films that make money. The Dark Knight and many other films prove that a good film can make tons of money, though, so if some studios are smart, they will let a few more years pass for a good script to come up before beginning filming. One thing I loved was that Nolan opted to use as little CGI as possible; this was one of the first films that I can recall where the audience – who are all just general audience and who have mostly never read a comic book – reacted so well to the film on screen. People were shrieking in horror when the Joker put a knife to someone's mouth, laughed when he was clapping to congratulate Gordon on his promotion while in his cell, and were in awe when Batman trapped the truck and flipped it upside down. Too... many... memorable moments... for one... brain... to... keep track of. Must... stop... speaking... slowly... Really, it was tremendous. The.. the.. No, I can't cite specific scenes as standouts without feeling as if I'm hurting the feelings of those I haven't mentioned. And everyone brought their A-game to this one. Eckhart has never been better. Ledger was perfect. The IMDb rating isn't starting to look quite so far-fetched now (and I speak not as a fanboy; I haven't read a comic in my life). I just wanted to chip in. It was a great film. I didn't like it as much as Batman Begins, but it was a much darker and more nailbitingly intense film, I could barely edit after seeing it. I loved the Joker, Two-Face was so cool too (unfortunately I was distracted by Eckhart's great performance thanks to the CG eyeball and snarl, easily the part of the film I'm most looking to learn about once I get the DVD) and there were a lot of moving scenes. And Gordon is awesome, he's topped Alfred in my imaginary top ten Batman sidekicks list. Didn't care for whole Hong Kong / money subplot though, neither did Joker of course. The only reason Two-Face should come back is if they introduce Robin, but Nolan and Bale aren't interested (it'd be a good starting point for the next phase of the series in a decade or so). At this point I don't know what Nolan could so: twice Batman learnt not to be a killer, and I don't want him to get burned like Raimi/Singer/Lucas et al. under the hawkish eyes of cynical for the sake of cynical "fans" screaming bloody murder all the time (aw screw it, it's more complex: optimism is a rarity anywhere).

I'm was happy with Two-Face, the movie lived or died depending on him, I know this'll sound degatory to all those who've brought him to life over the years, but Joker is an easy character to write. It's hard to mess him up. So I was just so happy to see Two-Face handled so well: him and Ra's (my favourite villain in the franchise) were such unique takes on the comics, while Scarecrow and Joker were almost encores for Nolan's skill.

In any case, the fans clearly want Riddler and a female villain (Catwoman or Talia, hmmm), judging from you, an Empire Online poll and an IGN article. Alientraveller (talk) 20:45, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm really interested in Bane (who once allied with the Al Ghuls). Perhaps Nolan will buck the scope trend and make a really grim, $40 million R / 15-rated film with Bane and Talia. Maybe after seeing Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk I've developed a taste for enemies who dwarf their enemies physically as well as mentally. Too early? Yeah, maybe as I'm fond of the part of the story where Nightwing temporarily becomes Batman. By the way, Two-Face is involved in Robin's origin in stories like Dark Victory and Robin: Year One. I think it would be really cool to see Bane, personally. I think a two-part film involving the storyline where Bane breaks Batman's back. For the past two films, we've been witness to how physically injured Batman gets each night, but how mentally tough he stays. I think something as grim as the possibility of not walking again could mentally break him down and would be very interesting to watch (as Nolan has shown he a master at developing the psychology of his characters). Nothing much has happened to me the past week. I've been looking for new signature ideas, but haven't found the right thing. Besides that nothing much really. I've been writing a new story though. (writing is a hobby of mine.) I thought I should show you what I've written so far. Please give me your honest critiscm! Don't be afraid to be brutal! I need all the help I can get! The story so far is below the line.

I happened on Saturday, December 8th of last year. I’ll never forget it, for two reasons. One, it was the day that ruined my life. And two, it was all my fault.

It was just about lunchtime, and my Mom was cooking me some mac n’ cheese, which is about the only thing she did cook for me since she had terrible culinary skills. I was parked in front of our bay window in our living room, watching the snow fall as I sat on the window seat, petting my pet dog, Jupiter.

Just as Jupiter was starting to drift off into a weary sleep, there was a loud crackling sound coming from the kitchen. I stuck my nose in the air, smelling a smokey aroma that I knew had to be coming from the kitchen. Just as Mom said a sware word, the smoke alarm went off.

“Mom?” I shouted. “Do you need me to get the fire extinguisher?” Usually when Mom cooked, she burnt everything. So it was routine for me to have to jump up and get the fire extinguisher. Then Mom would put out the fire, and we’d end up ordering Taiwanese food or hoagies for lunch, and Dad would have the leftovers for dinner when he got home from work. But this was different. So I just continued on staring at the sparkling snow, figuring everything was fine. But my heart was still worried.

“Mom? Are you sure everything’s okay?” I asked again. But there was no answer; only the sizzling sound of the mac n’ cheese was coming from the kitchen. Curiously, I got up and went into the kitchen to see why Mom didn’t need any help. Probably just a false alarm, I thought. But I was soon to be proven wrong.

When I walked into the kitchen, I was in utter horror. My eyes could not believe what I was seeing. It was so unreal.

There was Mom, lying on the floor. Her face blue, her eyes open, and her mouth was open too. Wide open. As if she was screaming. One of her hands was across her neck, almost holding on, but with a loose grip. Her other arm was laying on the kitchen floor tiles, as were her legs. But in her other hand, was the mixing spoon that Mom was using for the mac n’ cheese. It was covered in burnt liquid cheese, that was crusted onto the spoon.

“Mom?” I asked nervously. “M-m-m-om?” Tears started rolling down my cheeks. I knelt down to check her pulse. Nothing. Not even the faintest beat of life. “Mom, say something!” I screamed sadly, shaking her. “Please! Wake up! Wake up M-mom!”

I jumped up, grabbed the phone, tried to decide who to call for help first: Dad, or 911? I figured that the police should be notified first, so they can bring an ambulance over.

I pressed the three numbers I had hoped I’d never had to call. And when the dispatcher answered, I panicked.

“911 hotline, what is your emergency?” They asked. “Help! I need h-h-help! My Mom, and she’s, the mac n’ cheese! I dunno why she’s blue! I a-a-asked if she n-needed a fire extinguisher and-” “Ok, ok miss. Please calm down and explain what happened.” “I can’t! I don’t know what happened!” “Well tell me your name and address.” “My n-n-name is Delilah Schwartz, and I live on Primrose Boulevard! My Mom is blue! I need help! Please! This is scary!! Help!” And then I hung up.

I quickly glanced back at Mom. Now Jupiter was licking the spoon in her hand. At this point I didn’t care what that dog was doing.

Quickly, I dialed Dad’s work number. I would’ve called his cell phone, but he doesn’t have one ever since Jupiter chewed it up. Hopefully he would be there, unless he was busy. And as I waited, I started panting from fear.

“Hello, Schwartz and Co. Carpeting Services, this is Pam.” The secretary said. “Hi this is Mr. Schwartz’s daughter, I need to talk to him now! It’s an emergency!” I rapidly yelled. “Delilah? Is everything alright?” “No! Just put me through!” “Alright then!” Then Pam hung up, and Dad’s phone started to ring. I was completely annoyed with Pam, for wasting so much time with asking me questions. Didn’t she realize I was in need of my own Dad’s help?

“Hello, Brian Schwartz speaking.” Dad said. “Dad, you need to come here right now! Mom isn’t breathing, and she’s blue! Help me!” “Delilah? I’m sorry, I can’t understand you! Slow down! What’s wrong with Mom?” “I don’t know! Just come home! NOW!” And then I hung up.

Since I couldn’t just sit there and wait for help to come, I had to take matters into my own hands. Using my CPR skills from a babysitting class I took the previous year, I starting using that maneuver on my Mom. But nothing worked.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of sirens. It was the ambulance, finally. So I rushed out the front door, to show the police what happened.

“Help!” I cried. “My Mom isn’t breathing! You have to do something!” But all the police officers and medical workers just ran right past me, barging into our house. “Hey!” I called. “Wait!” I tried running to catch up to all of them, but someone stopped me.

A big police officer, which I assumed was the chief, grabbed me from behind, and turned me around so I could walk with him. “Miss, you’re coming with me.” He said. “No! B-b-but my Mom!” “Don’t worry little one, she’s gonna be alright.” Then the man put me in the police cruiser, and started driving away. The last thing I saw when we pulled down the street, was a body being a wheeled into the ambulance on one of those beds. The body was covered in plastic material, so I couldn’t see much of anything. But I knew, that it was Mom.

The next thing I knew, I was sitting in the hospital waiting room with my Dad. He was just sitting there, staring off into space, without any emotion at all. I tried to get my mind off of things by reading the magazines they had, “Good Housekeeping”, “Marie Claire”, “GQ” and “Woman’s World”. But I couldn’t help but think about what was happening in that emergency room. Would the police chief be right, and everything would be okay?

After what seemed like weeks of silent waiting, the emergency room doctor, Dr. Carmichael, came into the room, and quietly said to my Dad, “Can I see you for a moment?” Dad then solemnly nodded and the two went into a room at the end of the long hospital hallway. I just figured Dr. Carmichael would be telling him the good news.''

“At around noontime, an emergency occurred on Primrose Boulevard involving a woman, named Lucille “Lucy” Schwartz, who seemed to have choked to death in her own home, while cooking her daughter, who’s name is Delilah Schwartz, a lunchtime meal. Local polices officers and medical workers fled to the scene, after receiving a 911 emergency call from Delilah herself. Her father, which police have identified to be Brian Schwartz, of Schwartz and Co. Carpeting Services, was not home when the situation took place. Currently, Mr. Schwartz and his daughter are waiting at Stoneybrook Hospital for the ER doctors to tell them the news for neither know the outcome of what happened. We’ll have more on this story, including interviews with police officers and detectives, and the answer to what really killed Mrs. Lucy Schwartz. We’ll be right back after these messages.”

Chapter One

“Delilah! Mia’s on the phone for you!”

“Ok! I’ll be there in second! Tell her I’m on the loo!”

“Will do!”

It always seemed that my Mia, my best friend, would call me at the worst possible times. Mr. Nobody

Hello, I noticed that you changed "Dutch" back to "Flemish" in the article for Mr. Nobody, because that's the Variety citation. Note that Variety is mistaken. Belgium's three official languages are Dutch, French, and German. Do we really want to repeat that mistake in the Mr. Nobody article? How about something in between? I was thinking that we could ask Nehrams2020 to mention the active image discussion at WT:MOSFILM in the July 2008 newsletter to get other editors involved, maybe also mention the revisions for "Critical reception" and "Home media" for others to review. Nooo, no fight. :( I think we need to offer all the possible options. We can weigh in with the possibility of finding commentary for an image (if it seems unique enough at first glance), replacing insignificant images with significant ones, or removing them outright, leaving their sources as needed on the talk page. Like Steve said, it'd be a case-by-case basis. I think that for run-of-the-mill drama films, the likelihood is low, but for more fantastical films (superhero, sci-fi, war), there's probably stuff to say about an element of these large productions. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 12:11, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree. I don't mean to suggest using the same images, but to replace them with more adequate visual representations of the critical commentary. Personally, I don't care to use 2 infoboxes in an article (as I've seen a lot of the Transformer characters do). They just seem too in your face to see them twice...plus, having an infobox opens the door to people filling that "image" section of the box. As for the image itself, if it doesn't have its own page then it doesn't need an image on the parent article. Not unless there is critical commentary on said album cover. Hi Erik. Thanks for all your comments! They really helped! Sometimes, I get so in the zone when I have this great idea for a story, that I make these little mistakes. Thanks for pointing them out. Here's my answers to each of your questions in their number order:

1. That was just a little typo

2. Forgot about the house number

3. The reason Delilah overreacts about Pam is because she's so scared about the situation, that she doesn't want to waste anytime with people asking her questions. But you made a good point, so I changed that sentence to, "“Delilah? Is everything alright? What‘s going on? Are you okay?”

4. The police officer didn't want the Delilah to stay, because he just got notice via walkie talkie from the ER people that her mother was dead, and they didn't want her to stay to see that.

5. She's in plastice material because it's snowing outside and it's freezing cold. I can understand why you'd think she's in a body bag so I changed that sentence to, "The body was covered in plastic material, so I couldn’t see much of anything. It was snowing like crazy then, so the ER crew didn’t want Mom’s temperture to drop from the cold weather and snow. That’s what the chief told me. But I knew, that it was Mom."

The readers already can assume that Delilah's mother is dead, which makes the story so much sadder when you realize that Delilah didn't know what was going on.

Newsletter

Of course, there should be no problems mentioning those. I'll try to finish the newsletter a few days before the end of the month so you can look over the MOSFILM mentions to see if it needs to be reworded further. By the way, I went to Comic-Con yesterday and got to go to the panels for Wolfman and The Spirit, and they showed some amazing clips for both. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I went to two free screenings today downtown for Death Race and Hamlet 2 (which had a panel afterwards of Steve Coogan, Andy Fleming, and Pam Brady). I only got to go to Comic-Con for one day due to scheduling conflicts and some days being sold out. It was around $30 for a one day's pass, and unfortunately, they don't post the schedule for what will be occurring over each of the four days until two weeks before the convention (by then all of the tickets are sold out). Fortunately, I bought a ticket for Friday and got to see The Spirit panel which was my main interest of the convention (so as to see Samuel L. Jackson, which I'm sure you by now realize I enjoy a little bit). Throughout the convention I also got to see Seth Green, Benecio del Toro, Rick Baker, Emily Blunt, Lou Ferrigno, Keifer Sutherland, Frank Miller, Jaime King, & Gabriel Macht. For Wolfman, the panel's speakers were not doing a very good job promoting the movie, but the trailer for the film was entertaining. I wasn't too excited for it since I was only in the room to make sure I got to see the following Spirit panel (and also since I haven't had a chance to see the original yet). The clips for The Spirit were really amazing and had some really great effects. I took a bunch of pictures throughout the convention which I'll try to upload in the coming days, including ones for Transformers 2, Quantum of Solace, and the individual actors' pages.

For the Tropic Thunder screening, I got my ticket (and tickets for a bunch of other films) from filmmetro.com. It had a video intro before the film with Stiller, Black, and Downey Jr. greeting Comic-Con fans, so it must have had a tie-in. I've been waiting for this film ever since I learned about it, and I'll definitely want to bring it up to GA status at some point. I haven't seen the original Death Race 2000 film, but this one was an entertaining theater movie. The plot was pretty predictable (it seems very similar to one of my favorites, Running Man) but the races were very violent and entertaining. It was kind of like watching the Speed Racer film which had a horrible plot but amazing car races. Hamlet 2 had some funny parts, especially on behalf of Steve Coogan, but altogether I didn't care for it too much (it's hard to watch a comedy film and enjoy it after just seeing Tropic Thunder!). However, the panel afterwards was very funny as Steve Coogan was playfully arguing with the director and writer that he didn't get credit for many of the lines that he ad-libbed in the film. I think Hamlet 2 will perform better at the box office, as it appears Jason Statham hasn't been doing to well lately with his opening releases. Of course this will be Steve Coogan's first major role in the U.S., so it will be interesting to see if he can open the film. I'll likely start helping out with The Spirit after I have finished the Tropic Thunder article. I get Google Alerts for the majority of the topics I have written GAs for to keep them up to date, but only get them weekly. I've noticed that if you do do the weekly update, it doesn't include the information for the whole week. I have before searched for Tropic Thunder for example in the regular Google News and discovered stories in past weeks that never appeared in the updates. I was reviewing your comments in the The Dark Knight - IMDB rating section, and decided to remove any IMDb rankings on articles, per Wikipedia:MOSFILM#Critical_reception.

A certain editor claimed that those rankings should stay on the Godfather articles. He admitted that the ranking system may be flawed, but claimed the films' longevity at the top of the list should still merit article inclusion as a "fact."

I think it's clear CA will be a full-on period piece, while The Avengers will deal with his readjustment to the real world after being found in the ice. Essentially a a two-parter with a two month cliffhanger. No word on baddies or allies, all bets are off ever since Favreau saved Mandarin for IM2. I also imagine Bucky will be there (then again, two different Hulk flicks have not involved Rick Jones).

X-Files: I Want to Believe image

You keep removing my X-Files movie screenshot in the X-Files: I Want to Believe article, which does have a critical discussion section titled Reception, thus justifying fair use in the article. The caption itself does not have to contain critical discussion, only the article does. The image can appear anywhere in an article as long as there is discussion/commentary somewhere in the article, just as a movie photo can appear on a magazine cover and the accompanying text is in an article inside. I am a published author in the film industry. Please show me Wiki policy where it says the caption and not the article must be the justification for image fair use.
