Started a new article on my user page

I don't know if any of my references are any good in terms of what is considered reliable on Wiki. in additional sources or information would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi there! I'll move your prospective article to user:Element014/Studio014 Entertainment - then I'll explain more. 5 minutes...  Chzz  ►  06:22, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Main problem is, as previously, no reliable sources to assert notability, per WP:ORG. Studio14 is a primary source, the radio3 link isn't really a good assertion, and urbandictionary can be written by anyone.
You need to cite a newspaper, magazine, book, or something to meet the notability requirements - and you need to add inline references to verify the info. If they are not available, we can't check things, and therefore we can't have the article.
Good luck with it; ask for more help when you need it. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  06:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was away, a person I work with was supporting my article, I wasn't sock puppeting

Decline reason:

So it sounds like you were meatpuppeting instead. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:37, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|Missunderstanding, Meatpuppeting happened by accident. By "support" I meant contribute. I needed help writing the article, they participated in the AfD on their own accord.}}.

I absolutely did not ask for any help in the AfD disscussion. I needed help improving the article so that it would meet WP:BAND requirements. I knew I was going away and wouldn't be able to improve the article before it was deleted, therefore I asked for their help. The AfD was never a concern besides a good sourse of feed back on the article in order to improve it. As far as I know, that is not Meatpuppetry Element014 (talk) 14:11, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this is related to Kinty500 (talk · contribs), who has been unblocked by Mangojuice (talk · contribs). I'll leave a note on Mangojuice's talk page since s/he'll likely know more. --auburnpilot talk 15:04, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have nothing to add, I think you have the information you need. Mangojuicetalk 19:11, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, this has been up a long time without action. Element: I'm going to unblock you. In the future, please if a situation like this ever comes up again, ask the person you're requesting help from to be up front about your request to them, so that things aren't deceptive to Wikipedians.. Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:BlackLungs.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! File permission problem with File:BlackLungs.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BlackLungs.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mlpearc (open channel) 20:01, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
