The article Che Wilson (politician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Probably fails WP:BIO (he's had some media coverage but I couldn't find anything in-depth) but certainly in the article's current state.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Schwede66 22:17, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Che Wilson (politician) for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Che Wilson (politician) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Che Wilson (politician) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Schwede66 17:22, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Trippytropicana/Te Pōti Māori by-election requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. April 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm Wikipelli. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of electoral firsts in New Zealand, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Wikipelli Talk 23:33, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help! I’ve added the citation.: AnswerMeNow1 (talk) 23:41, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:International recognition of Catalonia, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you made one or more changes to the article Australian House of Representatives, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Per WP:UNSOURCED, "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution". In addition, the data in the infobox shouldn't contradict the data in the body of the article, as it is apparently happening. Thanks! Thinker78 (talk) 01:17, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your assistance, I have added the source. AnswerMeNow1 (talk) 01:55, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019 New South Wales state election, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Socialist Alliance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:24, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Rawiri Waititi. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Schwede66 06:40, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that! I'll do that in future, this is the only paste I've done. --AnswerMeNow1 (talk) 09:55, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Evermore (Taylor Swift album), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ss112 21:24, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry about that. I was looking at the albums chart and saw that Evermore had charted, but cited the wrong source- my mistake. --AnswerMeNow1 (talk) 22:08, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stylising song titles[edit]

We don't do this on Wikipedia where the title is printed per MOS:CT and WP:TMRULES. We just generally make a note that the title is stylised a certain way on the song or album page. Ss112 07:26, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please be observant of different date formats[edit]

Hi. Regarding your update to the New Zealand chart peak listed on Heat Waves (song), please don't change the established date format of an article. Thank you. Ss112 01:41, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What was the issue? --AnswerMeNow1 (talk) 04:24, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
With this edit, you changed dates from dmy to mdy. Have a read of Wikipedia:Overview of date formatting guidelines. Schwede66 16:09, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ƒirefly ( t · c ) 22:25, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 00:23, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Justin Bieber - JB6.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay[edit]

Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
