Hi folks,

This section is for discussing the Camp Saratoga/Swig wikipedia article. Essentially, the goal of this page is to write an article that helps us put the complete history of the camp into a single entry which will allow us to preserve this special place in our hearts and on the internet.

Thanks to all who help shape this work of art and thanks to all who shaped the living work of art that was Camp Swig.

Cheers!

Summer camps are wonderful things, and this one seems like it had a big impact on many young people. One problem with articles about camps on Wikipedia is that all of the information has to be verifiable. While it's usually easy to verify the existence of a camp, and its address, all of the customs and details which make the camp unique are probably known only to its past attendees. Camps that haven't received much outside press might not even pass Wikipedia's notability test. So it's likely that the best way of preserving the memories of Camp Swig would be to create a webpage about it elsewhere.   Will Beback  talk  19:08, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
