Incorrect interpretation of all sources for a statement[edit]
On this page, sources 6, 7, and 8 are used to claim that Gab has a mainly far-right user base, in the quote, 'known for it's mainly far-right user base'. However, none of these sources even claim that Gab has a mainly far-right user base. This is a downright unfounded statement which is extremely harmful as it depicts the Gab community as almost entirely toxic and it gives the impression that Gab should be taken down which would cause untold damage to free expression online. A much better phrase would be 'known mainly for it's far-right user base'. The false statement appears in the first paragraph and is very harmful, someone please change this.
- TBH the article never implies that the site should be taken down. However, it does make it seem like it's for nothing but hate speech. Also, there are multiple articles mentioning its alt-right user base as its most important feature. It's not like this isn't an established fact.
