Information icon Hello, I'm Nehme1499. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Arthur Melo have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Nehme1499 01:26, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't how this works. If you want to rename Arthur Melo, you should go through the move process at WP:RMT. Also, please stop blanking your talk page. Nehme1499 01:48, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not saying that the idea behind your edit is wrong. I'm saying that the procedure through which you are acting is incorrect; you shouldn't be trying to force a title through a template, you should request a page move through WP:RMT. Since the article is located at Arthur Melo, noting that he is also commonly known as Arthur Melo is only logical. If you can find consensus to change his title, we can then change the lead accordingly. Nehme1499 02:02, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

July 2021[edit]

Hello, your addition to Luis Suárez has been undid because it's not only unsourced, but also removal of factors and general norms that are properly sources. Over 5 references of him being compared to likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo by very reputable sources, alongside being called the best striker in the world by individuals such as Thierry Henry and several more, alongside the general norms of others of similar status (Lewandowski, Ibra) carrying similar introductions (one of the best strikers in this sport) in their pages.

Removing it for no reason other than one's personal bias or tastes. That's not how it works. If something is sourced, then it stays. If the thing is within norms of how other footballer pages are handled, then it stays as well as long as properly sourced. Don't over-complex the introductions with redundant comparisons. Simple is just fine.

No one is being partial when almost every striker of status and achievements similar to Suarez (likes of Ibra, Lewy, Henry, etc) are introduced as "one of the best strikers of all time/in history." That's how the norm generally goes with these pages, and it's being followed just fine here, with proper sources linking to opinions of individuals that matter.
