The Battle of Bingo Silver Mine was fought between the armies of the Chōshū Domain and the Matsuyama Domain between the 27–28 October 1864 during the prelude to the Boshin war. The battle concluded in a victory for the Matsuyama domain.

After being defeated in the Battle of Fuchū, Bingo Province had been nearly captured by the Chōshū Domain but the Matsuyama had set up a base of operations near the Bingo Silver Mine.

The Chōshū Domain had discovered the base two months after the Battle of Fuchū. Following so, an army was sent to attack the Matsuyama and the Matsuyama were prepared for any attacks and therefore defeated the Chōshū.
