Rudolph Nissen[edit]

Albert Einstein in 1947

Created by EricEnfermero (talk). Nominated by SL93 (talk) at 23:29, 10 August 2013 (UTC).

Why is the bit defining an AAA cited to the Houston Chronicle? I would prefer to see that cited to a MEDRS compliant source like a textbook. Other sources look good. Keilana|Parlez ici 08:13, 22 August 2013 (UTC) Addition: I really love ALT1. Keilana|Parlez ici 08:47, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Not sure what I was thinking, but I think I have fixed it. Let me know if there are other suggestions. Thanks! EricEnfermero Howdy! 10:14, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Needs full review, including suggested ALT1 hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:10, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
Interesting article. It's new, long enough, suitably referenced, no copyvio detected. QPQ not done, but it's not essential if one nominates somebody else's article. ALT1 confirmed. That said, how about ALT2 (ref)? Schwede66 02:14, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
  • ... that Albert Einstein (pictured) sent his famous tongue poking photo to his surgeon with the quote: "To Nissen my tummy / The world my tongue"?
  • Note: As the Rudolph Nissen article does not contain the image of Albert Einstein, by DYK rules the image may not be used in any hook here. I've struck the "(pictured)" from the proposed ALT2, and it should not be added to ALT1. (I've struck the original hook, as the article's creator preferred/suggested ALT1. I prefer ALT1 myself.) BlueMoonset (talk) 02:27, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Ah, too true. But it's easy enough (and relevant) to have that photo with the article, and I've added it (and removed the strike out). I find ALT2 far more interesting; the hook will get way more views that way. But it's for others to choose. Schwede66 02:34, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
    • I liked ALT1 a lot, but it's not a huge deal to me. I might try to expand the lower sections of the article. With so little content there, the Einstein photo looks a bit forced, at least the way that it renders on my screen. EricEnfermero Howdy! 03:03, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
