Brooklands, Canterbury[edit]

Brooklands just after the 2010 Canterbury earthquake

  • Comment: The hook is deliberately short and sweet and doesn't go into the background, but I'm conscious that some editors don't like that.

  • Seems fine, but it would be nice to expand it a little. In particular, if the article is about the end of the suburb, can we have some info on when it was created in the first place? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 18:33, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the review. Yes, I was keen to find something about its history. The library website has zilch and the main library is still closed (earthquake-wise). There was an article on Saturday's Press, though, and I've just added a little to the Brooklands page. I've got a book on the history of Christchurch suburbs until 1903 and Brooklands isn't mentioned. Schwede66 19:04, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
