Clean up[edit]

Hello, @Fieryninja I heard that you want to clean up my page because of too many source pages that I collect it. I made a mistake I shouldn't overdo it and I thought they are reliable. Thanks. Striker2020 (talk) 14:13, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Striker2020 that's no problem. I just thought I can help improve the readability of this page. There are a lot of citations placed against each Lego set that you have added here. For example, Ninjago City has six citations which is quite a lot. You only need one really. So I will have a look at the citations and see which ones we can remove. You only need to add one citation from a reliable source (not a Lego website). Does that sound ok? Fieryninja (talk) 14:26, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Striker2020 (talk) 14:31, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja can I add the Bricklink source page to the other pages? Striker2020 (talk) 05:04, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well yes I think it is the most reliable catalogue and far better than adding unsourced figures. Fieryninja (talk) 05:13, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja why did you the set numbers in my page? Striker2020 (talk) 05:20, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The set numbers are not really relevant. We aren't trying to create a catalogue of Lego sets. We are reporting on the development and history of the theme. I generally leave set numbers out of it and focus on more important information. Fieryninja (talk) 05:25, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography[edit]

Hi Striker2020 do you know what the bibliography on this page is for? It seems inappropriate to list an entire library of books here. I noticed the same on Ninjago (TV series). That one is particularly problematic because the page is already long and the list of books will inevitably keep growing. I think we should remove the books list per WP:NOTDIR as it just looks like product advertising. Fieryninja (talk) 16:56, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Fieryninja I rename it as sources and do you really want to remove some of the books still? Striker2020 (talk) 04:50, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well the books aren't really sources because they don't support the content. They should really be summarised under a new heading titled Other media. If you look at the Lego Ninjago page, you can see that I haven't listed a load of books. I have highlighted certain notable publications with media references. I think we should do the same here. I think the list on Ninjago (TV series) should be removed as the related media is covered in the Lego Ninjago page. Fieryninja (talk) 06:43, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes @Fieryninja you can summarised under a new heading titled Other media. Striker2020 (talk) 07:01, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja I forgot to tell you The Lego Movie (Lego theme) and The Lego Batman Movie (Lego theme) should do the samething like this page. Striker2020 (talk) 07:39, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK no problem. It will take some time to find the media sources to summarise these in a new paragraph. Fieryninja (talk) 07:45, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja I forgot tell you the books from the Lego Jurassic World (theme) do you want to summarise into new paragraph and can you help me to get the source page for the development of the Lego Jurassic World? Striker2020 (talk) 05:43, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Striker2020 Its probably best if I leave that one with you and the other editor to sort out. There's quite a lot of work to do on the other theme pages. If you can't find any sources, it could mean we can't add any information, but I will have a look. Fieryninja (talk) 05:55, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Good news, @Fieryninja I finally found the sources for the development of the Lego Jurassic World you can have a look. Striker2020 (talk) 07:48, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok great. It looks like the other editor didn't find them useful though so I won't get involved in that. Fieryninja (talk) 07:50, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocksmag[edit]

Fieryninja can I know what it all about Blocksmag and will it be useful to add in Overview and Reception section? Striker2020 (talk) 14:23, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Striker sorry but I'm not sure what you mean. Blocks is a magazine that focuses on Lego. There is one edition dedicated to The Lego Ninjago Movie so if you want to add info from that you might want to have a look at it. Can you clarify what you want to add to the overview and reception section? Fieryninja (talk) 15:19, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Fieryninja that I didn't explain you clearly. Earlier, I checked that you added the source called blocksmag.com in Reception section and I just want to know is it ok to add in other page? Striker2020 (talk) 16:21, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes that's no problem at all. I was just wondering what you were going to add. :) Fieryninja (talk) 16:34, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Fieryninja. In Blocks magazine Issue 75 how do you know Ninjago City set is from page 54? Striker2020 (talk) 07:44, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Striker2020 because I have a printed copy of it. Fieryninja (talk) 08:36, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
