I am simply proposing that an introduction to the biography section include new wording. In summary, I have included edit requests with annotations for editors to approve. This is related to the desired additions. For this particular stage, kindly refer to incorporated facts with situations I have included.

I understand that my position creates a conflict of interest, so, in lieu of editing myself, I have posted it here in hopes to find another editor to help. I’m very open to collaboration, and excited to work with the community to contribute to Wikipedia. Please let me know what I can do to improve this page. From this prospective, following the guiding principles outlined for the proper procedures in evaluating donating one’s own source material, my research colleagues are asking (respectfully) that users edit the article for reliable tracking and encyclopedic relevance. As such, I have attached the "edit request" that may be added to the article as the editor deems the appropriate manner.

If there are areas where editors think I can improve, please let me know if you can assist with this. Thank you for your valued consideration!

Some time ago, this was in the article with references.

After COI purge this was deleted. An interested Wikipedia reader might like to view this with the corresponding image. I believe this detail, with this image (caption included) would add to the article. The other sailboats could be cropped out if the editors deemed them irrelevant. Please note, We are missing a big piece of history in the fact that sailing vessels today travel rather briskly through the water. If fellow editors see this as appropriate, it would be very insightful to reinstate these details with the matching image. Ideally, I’d like someone to review what I’m suggesting, give feedback, and, once the draft is in good shape, move this new material to the live article. P.S. There is also a reference I can e-mail. Scanned copies are available to anyone who might want to see supplemental original source material. My principal objective is to provide more source detail. I made sure to familiarize myself with Wikipedia's content policies before writing. The reference does not directly support the assertion, a claim which is—nevertheless—not in dispute. The claim stays while the reference is declined.

It is not clear where you intend for this image to appear. As it is, with the suggested caption, it has no context. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:49, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
The COI editor has asked to add this picture before, and was told during those requests that, like Anachronist just said, there was no context provided in the picture. The best ones to use would be pictures where either the article's subject appears by himself or while on a sailboat, but not pictures of sailboats by themselves.  spintendo  21:24, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

If a picture of a sailboat is to be used, then the viewer should be able to make out with the unaided eye, the subject upon that sailboat. Any picture where the subject is not clearly seen or see-able within the boundaries of said picture is one which should not be used.  spintendo  19:35, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

From this prospective, and following the guiding principles outlined in "Wikipedia:Contact us – Licensing", attached below you may find a photo that may be added to the article in the appropriate manner. Take a look! In this photograph of the yacht, the observer is clearly able to view the subject within the picture of the vessel. In the same way, in this image the focus is plainly perceived, and the observer is capable of clearly viewing the subject within this depiction presented.Kindly note, I have researched in detail the Wikipedia proper procedures in evaluating donating one’s own source material. As such, I can e-mail scanned copies to anyone who might want to see supplemental original source material. In addition, I have also posted the required disclosure at the top of the page.
