Disagree with the proposed deletion[edit]

Do we really need to break down cities to 17 people?

Yes, I believe that all districts (or neighborhoods) of Tokyo are notable and therefore eligible to be established as standalone articles. Tokyo is, needless to say, one of the biggest cities in the world; judging from the fact that most of the neighborhoods in major cities in the United States have already had standalone articles (see Lists of neighborhoods in U.S. cities), there is no reason to allow to create articles for neighborhoods only in the U.S. major cities and forbid doing so for major cities in other countries. The reason that only 17 people live in the Nishifukudachō district is simply because this district is particularly small in area and is a commercial district. In the Kanda area, some districts have >1,000 residents such as Uchi-Kanda, but some other districts have very few or no resident such as Kanda-Aioichō. --Occhanikov (talk) 10:39, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
