Changes to this page and the pages of individual buildings listed here

I've added or amended dates where known on this page and also on the pages of the individual buildings. On the individual building pages I've added architects where known. Sources for both are from Andy Foster (2005) Pevsner Architectural Guides: Birmingham. Yale University Press ISBN 0-300-10731-5. I've also done a certain amount of re-writing of the individual pages to reword POV comments and make an opening sentence closer to the Wikipedia:Manual of style. Move page

I am thinking whether this page should be moved to "List of highrise buildings in Birmingham, UK" as I feel it is a more appropiate name as "tall" is very vague. - (Erebus555 13:44, 18 December 2005 (UTC))

Beatham Tower

It has now been upgraded to the hotel section and is completed. As the Beetham Tower article has been split into a disambig page, you can find the Birmingham one at Beetham Tower, Birmingham. - Erebus555 15:20, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

What about adding a column, to each table, for coordinates? By using the {{coord}} template (to emit a geo microformat), and with each table row now wrapped in an hCard microformat, the whole set would then be downloadable, into, say, GPS devices; as well as being readable by our visitors. Changes made/ to be made

Apologies as I have been away from Wikipedia for some time and so these changes are new to me. Firstly, good work with reworking the list. There are some information issues with the website used as the principal reference for all buildings: skyscrapernews.com. I have shifted around some content that was in the 'Proposed' section into the 'Approved' section where appropriate. I also removed some from the 'Proposals' section as they were no longer valid due to either being visions, cancelled or having a new building constructed in its place.

I have also removed several buildings from the Under Construction section due to them now being completed. These need to be incorporated into the Completed section which appears to be a little more difficult and tedious. I will do these at a later date, therefore. Aston University buildings

Aah yes, I forgot about these. I can't seem to find a confirmed height of the replacement buildings, although I understand they will be around 60 metres. Do you have any sources that outline the height of the approved buildings? - Erebus555 (talk) 19:57, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

As of 2014 all three Aston University towers have been demolished, with Stafford Tower going in April 2014. But who removed Lawrence Tower from the tallest demolished list? Ellrbrown (talk) 19:42, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
