12 AUG 2017 -- MLS video review gives Kaka red card for joking incident with Aurelien Collin

Kaka was shown a red card following a bizarre video review deep into stoppage time of Orlando City's loss to the New York Red Bulls.

Time was winding down with the Red Bulls leading 3-1 when players from both sides came together with some light pushing and shoving.

As the teams were beginning to separate, Kaka jokingly put his hands around the mouth of New York's Aurelien Collin from behind.

Collin and Kaka were teammates before Orlando traded the French defender to New York last year, and they laughed off the incident immediately.

However, MLS's new video replay system was called into play, and referee Jorge Gonzalez checked to see if the play was reviewable, then consulted a video screen on the sideline.

After a consultation, it was decided that Kaka should be sent off for violent conduct, while Orlando's Cristian Higuita and New York's Sean Davis were shown yellow cards for the initial confrontation.

"Obviously the referees don't know that Ricky and Aurelien are close friends, but when they look back at it and they see each other smiling -- I don't know, the referee is doing what he's got to do. A little bit unfortunate," goalkeeper Joe Bendik told the Orlando Sentinel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frankieng (talkcontribs) 08:27, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Price cost for Real Madrid

Whoever put in that he cost Real Madrid £68.5m was wrong indeed. He cost £56m, not £68.5m, start watching television why don't you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.13.97.251 (talk) 17:22, 14 July 2009

It says that he Real Madrid spent £68.5m on him, but that's wrong, the correct price is £56m.--92.26.229.216 (talk) 10:30, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
It's €68.5 not £ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rihazrihazrihaz (talkcontribs) 04:38, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
It is the error from Football Italia, which just stole content from Italian media and translate it to English, but mixing up the sign. The citation shown the error clearly. Matthew_hk tc 21:25, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Madrid fee

Regarding the fee, not sure 67 or 68.6 should be the final fee. As Milan wrote in their expense regarding loss of capital gains on selling players due to “meccanismo di solidarietà” (Solidarity contribution) in their financial report, the following word was used:

nonché dall’accollo del 50% del costo di spettanza della società Real Madrid

C.F. a seguito di accordi contrattuali conseguenti la cessione del calciatore "Kakà"

Izecson Dos Santos Leite Ricardo alla società stessa.

Milan was eligible to receive part of the solidarity contribution, but google translate not good for above text, as well as it was going into the zone of WP:OR to determine the solidarity contribution to Sao Paulo was included or excluded to the aforementioned €67 million fee or not, so which fee should be used? Hello Wikipedians,

The last paragraph of the section "Return to Orlando" starts with a misspelling of the Orlando, "Orland". Unfortunately I can not correct this error if someone more seasoned than myself could correct the spelling I would be grateful. prefix:Talk:Kaká/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Markinlv (talkcontribs) 17:11, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

"Alphaville"

Does anyone have a source suggesting the status, league, or official capacity of "Alphaville," the "local youth club" referred to in the Early Life section of the article? If it was a basic local club, without an official league or selectivity attacked to its membership, in my view, it should not be listed in the infobox. If a source can show that it was part of recognized league or had clear selectivity in its membership, by all means, please add it to the infobox. Any ideas?
