Article name and cofounders[edit]

Multiple sources refer to Joe DeSimone as a cofounder but I can't find any coverage of who the other founders are. Please add if you find it. Also, I created this from the existing redirect page to Continuous Liquid Interface Production, it could be moved to Carbon3D, Inc. or something similar if that seems more appropriate, if not anything like that should redirect here. Updates needed to the Wikipedia Page[edit]

Hi,

It looks like this page is out to date. There are a couple of large things that would be good to add to the page.

Carbon's HQ has changed: 1089 Mills Way, Redwood City, CA 94063 [1]

Carbon has launched SpeedCell™ [2] which includes a couple of new products:

- Smart Part Washer - M2 Additional information about each of these products are on the carbon page [3]

Carbon has also launched a new partnership with Adidas. It would be great add a section about this. [4]

Already done. The address is current. The other items to add should be described in detail.  Spintendo      00:44, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency in founding date[edit]

Someone has come through and changed the founding date in the text but not the info box. This causes confusion to the reader. I hesitate to revert the edit. If the edited date is correct, then the founding date in the info box should be changed as well. Not Wilkins (talk) 14:18, 5 June 2018 (UTC)NotWilkins[reply]

Need Suggestion if Name "Carbon (Company)" should be "Carbon" Only[edit]

Today I have corrected the company name and description with reference to a reliable source to improve the article and make it not look like promotional. But I need help with suggestions if the company name must have (company) after that if the name is showing something else as well? or it should be like Carbon, Inc. The standard for article titles says we do not include abbreviations like Inc. as part of the title, so if you had made this a requested move it would most likely be declined. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:14, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I got it. HorizonHarmony (talk) HorizonHarmony (talk) 20:26, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@HorizonHarmony: The name of the article cannot be simply "Carbon" because the primary topic for Carbon is the chemical element.
And, if I may add, it's far more important to try to fix the perceived tone of the article as promotion than it is to stew around about the article title. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 22:43, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I got it. Thank you. So let's just keep the company title same as it is, and only accept the change of company name written in Description from Carbon to Carbon, Inc since this is the correct legal company name. HorizonHarmony (talk) 19:25, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
