Proposed deletion of Final Placings section[edit]

I see no relevance in the section that has been recently added giving final placings for teams. I think the summary of results directly above gives a good indication of the performance of each team. In the years I have followed footy, I haven't read or heard discussed teams finishing 11th or 12th in the pre-season comp. It is generally just spoken of when they were eliminated (if at all). It appears that the teams have been ranked by week of exit and then magnitude of losing margin, but this could easily by the percentage of scores for and against. It is arbitrary as the AFL do not provide a means for ranking these teams. For these reasons I propose to remove it. No-one appears to have raised any objections. So I have deleted it. I'll wait to see if there are any objections now that I have made the change before I change the other NAB cup pages. Matt5AU (talk) 09:30, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
