Carl Stocks, better known by his ring name STOXX, is a British professional wrestler. He is currently wrestling for Promotions across the UK, where he performs as the 'Black Sheep of Professional Wrestling'.
Career
Stoxx Started his training in 2016 under British Legend Bubblegum and has previously quoted him as the best coach he has had. He has mentioned on podcasts and social media other trainers such as Ashton Smith, Marty Jones, Sam Bailey and Sam Gradwell.
He debuted at the back end of 2016 at Wrestlepro and has gone on to work for numerous promotions up and down the country including This is Wrestling, BTW, Unstoppable, GPW, BWP, MEW, Megaslam and more.
He has had a few changes in gimmick including a soldier, a party boy (in a tag as Tequila Slammers ) and the current Black Sheep of wrestling which he is quoted as saying it his is most comfortable as it's just himself and it's what he most naturally leans into.
In 2022 He created a faction known Collectively as The Black Sheep that consists of Aiton Steen, Ginha and Alfie. They are portrayed as villainous outsiders.
In 2023 STOXX' biggest achievement to date as he and Sandy Beach defeated the team of Joey Hayes and DDL to capture and become the first ever This Is Wrestling Tag Champions after a 4 show tournament. Stoxx also created a benefit show this year with all funds to a local boy who lost his mother in a tragic car incident.
Carl Stocks has recently been vocal on podcasts over the creative aspect in making stories rather than 1 off matches to build the promotion and the oppenents.
