It wasn't that easy! The reason your Illustrator barfed is because the EPS was actually a TIFF file encapsulated in an EPS envelope. I had to do an autotrace to get the resultant svg. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 15:07, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why is normal, rather than pathed Arab text required? Do we have to read the entire Libya article to discover the changes you wish made to the star, or do you think it would somewhat more efficient for you to tell us? --The Pink Oboe (talk) 21:55, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Normal text looks better than the text we have now. The text is: المجلس الوطني الانتقالي (al-majlis al-waṭanī al-intiqālī, "The Transitional National Council") and ‏ليبيا (Lībiyā "Libya"). THe star seems to be traced, too, so a "normal" star should be drawn--Antemister (talk) 08:06, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I hope that's okay now? There are some further issues with the image as a result of the initial autotracing but I don't have the time to sort them right now as it would probably mean starting from scratch and doing it by hand. If I have time later I might get to it, though no promises. If I've stuffed up in anyway just let me know, although I did copy and paste from your Arabic. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 09:56, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In general, it is OK, but the source file File:NTC LR.png uses another font. Perhaps you should try to find a font which is more similar to the original file--Antemister (talk) 10:21, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's bad enough trying to match fonts in English, I dread to think how hard it will be to match it in Arabic. Not to mention the fact that not all fonts have an Arabic subset. I know the English font is Helvetica, so it's quite possible the Arabic uses that font too, but there are so many variations of Helvetica that it becomes even more of a nightmare. I'll see what I can do. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 11:13, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Given that it's been reverted with no reason given I don't think I'll bother. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 12:12, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done I Found an official version at WWE-AR2008.pdf. The colour of the logo seems to change depending on what background is used. I see you've done multiple reverts and version changes, but I can't actually see what changes, if any, you've made or what it is that you are trying to achieve? What exactly is the difference between the "corporate logo" and the "company logo"? Tell me what you need and I'll change it, but as far as I can see the current version is the official version, though perhaps without the black strokes but with a black background. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 15:20, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Incidentally, your link to Vector Magic is duff for anyone other than yourself. You'd need to give us a different link direct to the image so that we can see what you've done and under which license. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 15:21, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It seems the WWE uses several versions of the logo. See this 2010 Annual Report which uses black "WW" while this other file uses both the black and stroked version. So I guess you can just revert to the black versions you did at first, as it's a legitimate variant. As for the corporate vs. company logo. It's true that sometimes the corporate brand is different from the trade brands, but I can't see any difference in this case. Regards, -- Orionisttalk 17:50, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

After having done an autotrace you need to make sure there aren't any spurious paths left over, of which there were a couple of dozen (all adding to the filesize for no benefit). Likewise you also need to make sure that everything that should be transparent is actually transparent. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 18:28, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Still doesn't match. It was wrong always, just compare values. --87.225.60.202 (talk) 14:20, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It was wrong due to me selecting the "edge to edge" parameter, it skewed the datapoints. I've now redone it from scratch. All the datapoints are now correct. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 14:24, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes you are correct, 200 is directly after 1998 because this is a chart, not a calendar. There was no data for 1999 so therefore no entry on the chart. And yes the figures do match. I'm also done with this, it's taking up too much of my time as it is. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 14:47, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
