I have added references. Surely a newspaper in the United States that's been published for several decades is relevant?Zigzig20s (talk) 19:57, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Big thanks for catching my inadvertant typo. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 19:59, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Driving one to drink...[edit]

Beer games aren't allowed in A7, I'm afraid. I've prodded it. Prod 2 is available for use... Peridon (talk) 20:59, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't A7 was it? Still can't get it on A10 either. Can't get anything much on A10 except a cold. Peridon (talk) 21:01, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Author blanking the page does work so long as it's not at AfD.... Gone. Peridon (talk) 22:35, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removed your prod at Skike[edit]

Hi. I removed your prod on this article re: notability as I could find a few independent references to establish this. If you still believe it should be deleted, feel free to flag at AFD. Cheers, Nikthestoned 14:45, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Government Higher Secondary School for Girls[edit]

Sorry, me again. I removed your speedy delete for this article as the notability guidelines quite specifically discount schools. You could probably again raise at AFD, though I believe schools are inherently notable. Cheers, Nikthestoned 15:00, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

can you help with my page?[edit]

first time writing a page can u help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Incoherant (talkcontribs) 15:05, 12 July 2011

I'm writing to you because of the speedy deletion of the article Concierto Magico. I was going to expand it, and I think it should not be deleted (not until it's finished). Please, don't delete that article. Wildbill hitchcock (talk) 15:16, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GDpicture/Orpalis[edit]

Hello Sir Pawridge,

You have recently deleted (after only few minutes of submission) an article of mine about GdPicture. With all due respect, I would most kind;y ask what should I do to improve the content of the article (I need to add that I have studied elementary tutorials on Wiki articles creation + similar already existing articles (such as "Synfusion" or "ZyLAB Technologies". I also read and understood the automatic reply page regarding deletion. However, can you please tell me what do I have to do in order to comply with your regulations (which i really respect, as I am a massive Wikipedia "consumer" myself) ?

Thank you for your time and understanding.

  • They are not notable, so they are better off deleted. If you would like to know how to create a good article, I have left a message on your talk page on how to do so. - Sir Pawridge talk contribs 16:05, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • OK, but can you please explain what i did wrong compared with "Syncfusion" ? I just want to understand and to improve , not to bother or annoy you.

I have read the "must-read" from tutorials, this is why I am somehow confused now : what is "notable" about Syncfusion? Please do not get me wrong, I am not trying to push on your nerves nor to add stupid articles (which eventualy, would mean to harm myslef, as a heavy Wikipedia reader) Please take your time to reply me, I am in no hurry, I just want to clearly understand > Thank you very much, indeed, for your patience and understanding.

Bogdan.nemteanu (talk) 16:23, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

      • This is not a matter of 'did I do something wrong?' but a matter of notability. Those two articles are not notable. Syncfusion is also not very notable, and is written like an advertisment - Sir Pawridge talk contribs 16:25, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • OK, thank you again for you time, Sir Pawridge. This is my last post to you.

But if (and only if) would you have a minute to spare, can you please tell me why Syncfusion are notable ? (I have lots of other examples , as well). I just see a huge list of "Awards" but with no clear understanding at all on what is this all about, nor any sign of notability or relevance). Please do not be angry with me, your arguments will either make me try to improve my work or simply make me drop it.

Bogdan

Speedy deletion declined: Valentia Lifeboat Station[edit]

Hello Sir Pawridge. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Valentia Lifeboat Station, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The reason given is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. Thank you. GFOLEY FOUR!— 16:27, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined too, as the context is quite clear. The article is a bit short, but has potential for expansion. Peridon (talk) 17:17, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ASCLS[edit]

I have made changes to the article for American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. I have also added links to supporting pages. Can you give me other suggestions for avoiding deletion? We feel this is a good start and are planning to add our most recent history as soon as it has been edited for content by our board. We are a valid national professional society.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Disaster Eyewitness has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No hits on ProQuest. Current sources are just unreliable-looking databases

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
