help me

{{help me}}

I would like to contribute a new sub-chapter on "Vertical Search" to "Search engine" article. How should I go about doing this? I proposed this contribution in the discussion of the article but have gotten no response. Thanks for your help. Yoav Pridor (ypridor).

Be bold. John Reaves (talk) 05:24, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John Reaves didn't answer my question. I need to know how I can contribute an addition to a closed article.

Unless the article is fully protected, you can contribute to an article. Please be more specific in your questions, because "closed" can reference to many items. Real96 05:20, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your prompt response. I have just realized that this article is no longer protected or that I have been given the right to edit it.--Yoav Pridor 05:28, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Omgili[edit]

I have restored the article. I did some additional research, and I feel Omgili does warrant an article on Wikipedia. Also, can you please fix up the article to conform to WP:MOS and make the whole formatting similar to other articles? I can help out with this a bit, too. Thanks, Nishkid64 (talk) 21:13, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't personally make this decision. User:Hu12 tagged it for speedy deletion, and I deleted it due to lack of demonstrated notability. There were no references. It was deleted before for the same reasons, and they were not addressed in 8 months. See WP:N and WP:RS for relevant guidelines. нмŵוτнτ 15:38, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I responded on both your page (diff) and mine (see November archives). If you want to read the full response, please see your talk page at User_talk:Ypridor. нмŵוτнτ 17:04, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored the article and sent it to WP:AFD. Please participate in the deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Omgili. Thanks, Nishkid64 (talk) 02:05, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Omgili for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Omgili is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Omgili (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
