Info box images[edit]

On the same issue please don't do this. If you want to replace the current image all you have to do is replace the pictures' file-name, like this. Instead you ended up with a thumbnail image with two separate captions. I have again un-thumbed the image, keeping the new picture and caption, here. 220 of ^Borg 07:56, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It seem you have necessarily used thumbnails on many pages. Could please go back and remove them? The info-boxes look far neater without them, which is why they aren't use in info-boxes. It would also be nice if you answered me. I note that despite being a Wikipedia editor for about 2.5 years you have never made an edit to any talk page, [1] or user talk-page [2] even your own one here. Wikipedia is a collaborative environment and communicating with other editors, especially when they query yours edits is necessary and expected. Using edit summaries is another way to 'communicate'. Capitalization[edit]

I re-reverted your edit on Swetland Building (Cleveland) because of the requirements from the Manual of Style. The Wikipedia Manual of Style only capitalizes the first letter of a title (known as "sentence case" vs. "title case") unless the title is a proper noun. "2014 renovation" is a general term, not a proper noun, so the 'r' isn't capitalized. The policy can be found at WP:MOS#Article titles and specifically for section headings just below that at MOS:HEAD. The general rules for capitalization of titles, which apply to article titles and subheadings, are found at WP:NCCAPS: "For multiword page titles, one should leave the second and subsequent words in lowercase unless the title phrase is a proper name that would always occur capitalized, even in the middle of a sentence." --JonRidinger (talk) 03:40, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just letting you know that I appreciate your work on creating new articles about defunct department stores, such as William Taylor & Son and Sterling-Lindner Co.. I would like to make few suggests that could vastly improve the quality of your work. For a few states, like Ohio, there are quite a few references that were added on List of defunct department stores of the United States that you should consider incorporating into your articles since some of those links are to newspaper article written when various events, like store openings, mergers, and closings, had actually occur. I would also suggest using the Template:Cite news, Template:Cite web, Template:Cite book, etc. templates for adding references and try to fill out as much information as possible to enable the reader (and other editors) access to the material that you are trying to cite.
