Hi. I deleted your edits for two reasons: firstly, Wikipedia will not accept any articles from the Daily Mail, and other similar news sites, as they are not considered reliable. Secondly, as Peter’s wife, you are considered to have a conflict of interest and should not write anything about him.

I have now found an article about his gambling from a different newspaper, so have restored the content.

I hope that Peter and yourself are keeping well, and that he can remain clear of his former addiction. I am sure that it must have been a very difficult time for you both.

Best wishes. Daemonickangaroo2018 (talk) 14:04, 22 December 2020 (UTC) (a lifelong Southampton supporter, one of whose early football memories is of Peter scoring for Leicester City against us in 1967.)[reply]

Thank you so much I really appreciate it, I felt it’s important we show what important work he is doing with regards to raising gambling awareness and yes certainly be respected for managing to overcome an horrendous addiction
Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄

Hello SteffiCypress. Since you are personally involved with the subject of the article you edited, please restrict any future edits to requesting changes on the article's talk page (Talk:Peter Shilton). On that page you can make a formal edit request, which can be reviewed by an uninvolved editor.
It is important that all editors respect Wikipedia's mandatory requirements for all content to be attributable to reliable third-party sources and worded from a neutral point of view. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:36, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
