(No subject)[edit]

Don't think Shilts is coaching the goalkeepers for 'Boro anymore

Dead?[edit]

The article mentions a date of death, but has no specifics User:zls44 02:03, 2 June 2007 (EST)

PFA player of the year when?[edit]

according to PFA Players' Player of the Year he was player of the year in 1978, but here it says later than that. which is true? F1list 08:48, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

World Cup Debut[edit]

If he was born in '47 and played in the '86 World Cup, then the information at the top saying he made his WC debut at 32 must be wrong.

Samuel Shilton[edit]

I don't think Peter's son Samuel is still playing at Burton Albion. This may need to be changed.

Greatest Goalkeeper[edit]

I have noticed that most articles on International goalkeepers claim "He is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time". MortimerCat 11:59, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hinckley[edit]

According to the article on Hinckley United he isn't playing for them anymore Cavie78 16:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The reference in the article is to his son, Sam Shilton, who is still on Hinckley United's books Daemonic Kangaroo 17:32, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Shilton is not the most capped England Footballer Rachel Yankey[edit]

There is no distinction between men's football / women's football here. As there is no distinction the assertion that Peter Shilton "currently holds the record for playing more games for England than anyone else" is false, see Rachel Yankey's stats to prove http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Yankey.

Amend this as a point of urgency! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.159.178.33 (talk) 19:13, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
