Wikiversity vote[edit]

You might want to read rule #2 of the Wikiversity voting rules. - As it is your vote does not count. --Krischik T 07:10, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

To make a valid vote, you need to do the following:

  1. Go to your user page on meta, and write a link to your most commonly edited project (I assume this is wikipedia).
  2. Go to the yes vote page, and change the link in your name to point to your meta user page instead of wikipedia's.

Yeah, its overly picky. The nays are losing by 3:1, so they're bringing up procedural bs to try and win the vote. --Gabe Sechan

Makes sense. I did think this was rather stupid, since I'm pretty sure my meta user account has a redirect back here. :-( Well, how else did the OP get here? :s
Your vote is still not being counted. Please sign your vote with your Wikimedia Meta-Wiki signature. --JWSchmidt 16:53, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Fine, I fixed it.

Signature fix[edit]

If you are going to use one of those annoying colored sigs ( my POV! :) ), please make sure you close all the tags properly - your font tag is not closed, causing all text after it to appear greyed out. I've fixed it on this page, so you can do a diff to see the problem and fix. It would also be nice if you would fix the ones you already made - I fixed a couple on the AfD page, but I'm not sure where else might need it. Thanks. Turnstep

Argh. My mistake. I changed it a little while ago, and must have forgot to fix the tags. Anyway, I've changed it to also be a little less obnoxious ;) splintax (talk) 03:49, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ianblair23's RfA[edit]

G'day Splintax,

I would like to thank you for supporting me on my RfA. It closed with the final tally of 57/0/0. I can only hope I can live up to the expectations that this wonderful community of ours demands from each of its administrators. If you ever need anything, please just let me know. Cheers! -- Ianblair23 (talk) 02:00, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sunny f/16 rule[edit]

Hi, re: f-number, it wasn't an "obvious error". Most cameras don't have a 1/100 s shutter speed setting. The standard settings are 1/60 s and 1/125 s, so the latter is the closest setting that meets the requirements of the sunny f/16 rule.--Srleffler 04:37, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then, well thanks for clarifying the article (the way it was explained suggested otherwise to me). My camera has 1/100 as a shutter speed, IIRC. splintax (talk) 05:06, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Perth Userbox[edit]

Hi there! I originally made the WikiProject Perth Userbox but it was not set to a template. User:M Johnson has created a new WikiProject Perth Userbox and it is templated. I just thought you might want to know about it.--Ali K 14:32, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, thanks for letting me know! :) splintax (talk) 15:40, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zero Hour[edit]

Is there a Challenge mission where one can play against General Juhziz (Demolitions), or is it only available in a mod? Same with General Fei (Infantry). And how can I play this "Ironside" guy. I've never even heard of him. Also, Is there a differance in damage between nuclear radiation and anthrax radiation?

Im asking you because I saw you edited the article on all the Generals.

signature tutorial[edit]

Thanks for writing the signature tutorial! I found it very helpful, because I wasn't sure how to make different signatures other than the boring default one. Thanks again! teh_roflmaoer ( Talk/Contribs ) —Preceding comment was added at 20:30, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
