Technically, he is 'going against what I said' as well but I assume good faith that he is participating in a discussion...not some kind of horse race. Poor choice of action in my opinion, but new editors often do a few odd things when starting out.

the site is run as a hobby to provide information for the parents living on the estate. i do not make any profit from it in fact it costs me money to run it.
There is a link to barbicanliving.co.uk on the same page and this is run by a solicitor who deals with people buying property on the estate. His site is therefore run as a commercial interest as well as an information service.

Paul London won the NorthEast Wrestling Championship on November 13 by defeating Jason Blade.
Dragon Gate announced that they had released Cyber Kong from his contract. Kong suffered a neck injury in late October, and did not feel he was healing well enough to return to wrestling, and so requested his release.
Sky Sports announced that it would begin to broadcast Superstars in Britain on December 11. It will also start broadcasting This Week in WWE, which will first air on January 3.
On November 20, it was reported that WWE had re-signed Mikey Batts to work as a referee.

As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of June 6, we are at 7.67%, with 375 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
This section is intended to warn users about potential targets of vandalism and speculation: professional wrestling events from major promotions for the month of June.
This section is devoted to helping project members become familiar with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.
A list of unreferenced wrestling-related BLPs is generated here. Please help out by sourcing these articles.
Be aware of words to avoid. Certain words, if chosen poorly, can subtly promote a point of view.

There is currently a significant backlog of 2697 submissions waiting to be reviewed. These submissions are generally from new editors who have never edited Wikipedia before. A prompt, constructive review of submissions could significantly editor retention.
We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 1 or 2 reviews, would be extremely beneficial.

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest!
