I noticed your article while patrolling new pages. You may want to look at the Did You Know feature of wikipedia. Your article is long enough and new enough and you have cited references. Meeting in Bristol this weekend

Hi this is Steve Virgin from the Board of Wikimedia UK

I am a fellow Bristolian

We have a Wikimedia Conference in town this weekend

We were getting some of the Bristol Project Wikipedians together at the Watershed on Saturday night for a Wiki Meet at around 6.30pm.

This is a good opportunity to meet people from the national Chapter, other Chapters from around the world and from the Wikimedia Foundation. There is a bar tab to help proceedings and we would be very keen to see you there.

Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

A couple of pointers

Nice work on the Bristol shipbuilders. I thought you might appreciate a couple of pointers. The manual of style for numbers states that numbers should be separated from units of measure using a non-breaking space - e.g. by typing 5 tonnes. Also, units of measure should be converted - the {{convert}} template is ideal for this. In both cases take a look at the way I have adjusted the articles that you have written. Finally, it is not necessary to wikilink countries - this is considered overlinking. Any questions just ask. --Simple Bob (talk) 21:29, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
