Adoption Accepted.[edit]

Thanks for adopting me.

I seem never to be able to find anywhere to make significant changes. That's mostly what I'm looking to capatalize on. If you know of any oppertunities of articles needing assistance, please inform me. Also, if you could help me proof-read some of my articles, that'd be such a help. I'm not the best speller.

Thanks again :)

I'm stuck on my Taras Filenko article. What else do you suggest I add to make it better quality?

Thanks for the notice, its alright; it did give me a surprise though. I was beginning think that I had made a major mistake about the message before I found out that it was about a sockpuppet..anyway, cheers!! --Zacharycrimsonwolf 12:52, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help with my userbox layout[edit]

Thanks again for adopting me. I was wondering if you could help me a little with the userbox layout on my userpage. I was trying to get them into categories like: beliefs, pets, sports, etc., but I couldn't get it to work. Thanks. • EvanS :: talk § email § photos • 16:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for doing this! I am now working on it, and have copied the code from your sandbox to here and I have made several changes there. • EvanS :: talk § email § photos • 15:48, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re user EvanS[edit]

i disagree that his warning on my talk page was 'good faith'. i exposed evans as having used sock puppets to promote a photo he'd taken. the sock puppets altered other users votes on the photo, and gave praise to his photo. within minutes, he used the results of the sock puppet to proclaim himself as having 'won' the vote. see User_talk:EvanS/Cat/Lead photo, and Talk:Cat section 40. the warning on my talk page came shortly after i noted in section 40 his use of sock puppets previously. it's clearly retaliation. retaliation is bad faith. Advise, please...[edit]

My mentor is/was Ariel Gold but she has not been in touch or on her talk page since February 14th. {It is a revelation this, to miss and worry about someone never even met.} Meanwhile I should have mentoring for two upcoming articles and a planned revision. My question is twofold:

a) is there any way or anyone who could or would know if Ariel Gold is alright? If she is and doesn't choose to communicate, that is her right... but it would be nice to know she's OK. If she isn't - it's still better to know.
b) Would it be legitimate for me to ask someone else to by my mentor?

Respectfully, Shir-El too 13:19, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I've been in touch with Ariel via e-mail and she seems ok. Regarding mentoring, Ariel has given me the go-ahead. However, I would prefer to keep Ariel listed as my primary mentor, (for her morale as well as my own) in the hope she will make it back here sooner or later, and ask for an additional mentor - or maybe collaborator? Anyway, I need someone to illuminate my blind-spots and show me how to do it better. Thank you for your time, Shir-El too 00:35, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
