Double standards

I see you have nominated List of victims of the September 11 attacks for deletion. How ironic that you think it is unacceptable to have a list of names of those killed in 9/11, while proudly listing the names of those killed in police brutality in your userpage. This is yet another example of double standards being applied to the coverage of right and left wing violence in Wikipedia. 2409:4071:E91:B82C:0:0:4388:C708 (talk) 17:22, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Dear IP, I invite you to fuck right off. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:27, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Come on Prax!

Headbomb - for all I respect his editing generally - is talking out of his ass here. His interpretation of policy is flat-out wrong, you are in the right here - no need to retire! E-mail me if you wanna blow off steam. Girth Summit (blether) 18:13, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

Deliberate and willful misinterpretation of policy that is allowed to stand isn't okay and there's no point in editing if we don't have some standards. Between this silly debacle forcing yet another worthless deletion discussion that should've just been speedied and the daily doxing and harassment, I'm done. Editors time isn't valued and the pendulum has swung too far to the side of bureaucracy for the sake of it that nothing can be accomplished on this project anymore. PRAXIDICAE🌈 18:16, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I agree with Girth Summit. Headbomb is incorrect about this specific matter and you are correct. Please reconsider. Cullen328 (talk) 18:17, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I've emailed you Prax. Again: Headbomb isn't an admin, he's allowed to be wrong about this stuff, we do have standards. I for one value your time and talents, particularly in the spam/SPI areas - we would be much weaker without you. Girth Summit (blether) 18:19, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Even if I was an admin, I'd also be allowed to be wrong (not that I think I am here). Again, it's a minor disagreement about a shitty draft that's not going to be accepted anytime soon. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 18:20, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
yes, nothing like telling a woman she's overreacting or being unreasonable to make this place more hospitable, especially after your already unhelpful comments have been removed.h PRAXIDICAE🌈 18:23, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I couldn't care less about your gender, and didn't know you were a woman until you just told me. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 18:27, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Your inability to read the room is truly remarkable, Headbomb. PRAXIDICAE🌈 18:30, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Telling anyone that they're overreacting when you have offended them is unlikely to help. As a man myself, I would be particularly careful not to speak like that to a woman, but that's just me. I've got a script installed that tells me the gender of an editor (if they have disclosed it) to help me use their preferred pronouns. If you're interested, I can poke around in my scripts and work out what it's called. Girth Summit (blether) 18:33, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I prefer to remain ignorant of editors' gender when I can be. I find it's fairer and more equitable that way. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 18:37, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
No offense intended (seriously), but you are completely wrong on this one, both in terms of the letter of the policy, and in terms of the practice of how it is administered. You are correct that admins are allowed to be wrong, but only to a point - there are policies like WP:ADMINCOND which hold us to a higher standard than regular editors with regard to the adherence to policy, that's what I was getting at with my comment. Girth Summit (blether) 18:26, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
  • Hey Prax - tell me to piss off if this isn't welcome, but we continued talking about a few things at Headbomb's talk, he has accepted he was in the wrong about this area of policy. Just FYI really - do what you need to do, but I'll sure as hell miss you (and your seasonal sigs) if you go. Best wishes Girth Summit (blether) 19:22, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll read through it shortly. I want to note that regardless of my feelings about this, the intent of the creator of this draft needs to be examined, especially in light of the fact that aside from the single Beall's list source, their claim that the JSTOR citations support any single statement regarding the nature of the publication is an outright lie. I found evidence off-wiki that this is a revenge campaign but no evidence of the claims (and in fact found the opposite) and while my area of expertise is definitely not in academia of any sort, including journals, this reeks of someone scorned by this publication, especially in light of the fact that they clearly publish their ethics and editorial standards and apparently do not, in fact, take money for publication. While Beall's list is fairly trustworthy, I don't see any evidence they detailed why this appears nor can I find anything, anywhere about the supposed predatory nature of this journal outside of the screed written by one single person who appears to be taking their campaign across any websites that allow public submissions. Though interestingly enough, I found a bit about the conference potentially being a boondoggle but nothing that we could even remotely consider using on Wikipedia.
You know I take a very hard line stance against spam/promo but I take an even harder line against blatant fabrications. Whether this journal is notable or not is irrelevant at this point since there's nothing in the current draft/article to save, nor do I know if it's legitimate and frankly, I don't care, but the reality is that there aren't sources supporting any of the statements in the draft except that it appears, and only just appears with no context on Beall's list. And after my two year long experience with dubious hoaxes which resulted in continued and ongoing legal battles, among other real life consequences for myself and others, I take an even harder stance against using kid gloves on exaggerated Wikipedia articles, whether they show the subject in good or bad light.
Of course this doesn't address everything that lead to this or my frustration but might give you an idea of why this wasn't an overreaction and why I think Wikipedia(ns) needs a wake up call. PRAXIDICAE🌈 19:35, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Don't want to re-open old wounds Praxidicae however I believe your off-wiki evidence that this is some sort of revenge campaign was just confirmed by the editor who made that article. Sideswipe9th (talk) 18:08, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
I don't think it even needed to be said, it was obvious from the start. Though that editors bad behavior in particular is not what caused this situation, but I'm not gonna open up old wounds. PRAXIDICAE🌈 18:09, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Hello Praxidicae. I'm trying to run a checkuser on WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Betteruser but have some trouble following the behavioral evidence. Can you summarize for me what is wrong with this change to Rene Saguisag? The edit filter has even flagged this as a 'possible BLP issue or vandalism' but I can't tell from a quick look what the matter is. Also, when you refer to 'two past socks' can you tell me which ones they are. There is even some info on User:Betteruser in the cuwiki so it's just a matter of understanding it. Thanks for any help you can provide, EdJohnston (talk) 00:44, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Question

Hello it's me N1TH Music and I've listened to what you said about WP:BITE here where I didn't prod or redirect an article, instead only stub tagged and unreferenced tagged it. I was going to put a comment on the author's talk page telling him that he should in future source his work but then I realised that the surname of the creator and the individual in the article are the same and this is the only article this guy created. Does this fall under WP:G11 or not, I'm not sure? N1TH Music (talk) 04:51, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Follow the light

Hi - you have reverted the Follow The Light (Silent Running Album) page back to a redirect stating 0 reliable sources. I have cited album release news from the band's own offical website so am confused as to how that does not qualify. Can you please give me some direction on how to satisfy this critieria. Thank you. Localhero84 (talk) 19:46, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

WP:RS, specifically independent reliable sources that cover it in depth. We do not care what the band says - mere existence isn't enough for a standalone article. PRAXIDICAE🌈 19:48, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
In addition to WP:RS as Praxidicae has pointed you, you'll also want to take a look at WP:NALBUM, WP:NMUSIC, and WP:GNG to see what qualifies as notable. I've also done a brief Google search on the album, and haven't been able to find any reliable independent sources on it. Sideswipe9th (talk) 19:50, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

I am worried about the death of my article!

Hello @Praxidicae. It's been a few weeks since my article was published, but it still hasn't been indexed in Google. There is no warning for lack of resources, no survey has been removed and... . Is it going to be Imprisoned in Wikipedia like this? Maybe it hasn't been patrolled yet! How can I speed this up? Or how long should I wait for the patrol? Thank you for your guidance. Bestbiowriter (talk) 08:15, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

Bestbiowriter, we have no control over what Google and other search engines do with Wikipedia. It will appear when it appears, and there's not really anything you can do to speed up the process. It will eventually show up in search engines. Primefac (talk) 08:48, 5 July 2022 (UTC) (talk page stalker)
@Primefac: Thank you. Yes, I know that showing up on Google has nothing to do with Wikipedia. But I said maybe there is a problem with my article.
So I just have to wait... Bestbiowriter (talk) 08:56, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

William Lyons (philosopher and playwright)

I am a student who is working with Professor Lyons, and I am editing his Wikipedia page under his close direction. And it's have been reasonable and relevant to his work as a playwright. You have removed these edits and have labeled them as 'promotional nonsense.' Can you explain this position more clearly, and can you allow professor Lyons to reasonably edit his Wiki page? Lycargus9 (talk) 11:34, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Please read wP:COI. We do not allow subjects to dictate content and we do not add multiple disambiguators to titles. As far as him editing the article, no. He does not own it and it is not his "page". PRAXIDICAE🌈 11:36, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Can you explain in what way the edits I made led to a conflict of interest? Can you explain how adding the title of playwright to professor Lyons is in any way ambiguous? Are you suggesting that professor Lyons is not a playwright? Can you also explain why you have removed his recent publications from his list of works? Lycargus9 (talk) 11:42, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

It takes less than 5 minutes to read the link I provided. I suggest you actually read it because it more than adequately explains why you and he both have a conflict of interest. PRAXIDICAE🌈 11:42, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your response. Can you suggest a way in which these relevant additions to Professor Lyons page can be made without there being a conflict of interest? Lycargus9 (talk) 11:47, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

You can make requests on the talk page, as can he but you cannot both use the same account. He cannot edit it directly and neither can you. PRAXIDICAE🌈 11:48, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Amber Heard

A source is needed to place a category wothin an article? IMO, the diagnosis of BPD is such a serious diagnosis, it should be somewhere in the article, not just as a category. It has been all over mainstream media and her court battle with ex-hubby, Johnny Depp, has been major news for the past 2-3 months. It's pretty much common knowledge now that she has borderline personality disorder. This is very much like when Angelina Jolie's borderline personality disorder diagnosis was leaked to the public by her father, circa 2000. Followed by her father's crying on Access Hollywood, begging Angelina to get help and expressing guilt over his role in what has happened to Angelina. That Access Hollywood episode aired in 2002. That has been esentially taken off the internet, including her interview with Larry King, in which she discusses her pscyhe ward stay. But, here is a two part video on YouTube, which has the Access Hollywood scene: Part 1, Part 2. Must watch both, to get it all in context. But okay, here you are for the Heard BPD diagnosis: Source 1, Source 2, Source 3, Source 4, and many others can be provided if necessary. MorphinESTP (talk) 01:58, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

This is a dead link, but even so it wasn't written by staff, so unreliable. This can't be used because we don't allow random people to play psychologist/psychiatrist about BLPs. This says alleged but NYP is a gossip rag and not reliable. This isn't reliable and not directly stating she was diagnosed with BPD. In any case, she hasn't said it herself, so everything is speculation. PRAXIDICAE🌈 11:50, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
Oh, so the PhD clinical psychologist, named Dr. Shannon Curry, who testified and diagnosed Heard in a COURT OF LAW is “not reliable”. Heard never denied nor contested the diagnosis, so I'm wondering why you would? lol Ok, whatever you say. This is why Wikipedia is increasingly becoming an untrusted source. Terrible media coverage, former members, even admins, and the founder have even claimed the arbitrary rules Wikipedia has invented are to protect a particular narrative. So in that way, especially when it comes to such things as BLP's, certain news narratives, have completely compromised Wikipedia. I guess $$$ is a huge motivator. But I don't care. I'm a pathologist assistant, so these aren't my areas of expertise. I actually deal totally with verifiable facts, data, etc. MorphinESTP (talk) 00:33, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
(edit conflict) (by talk reader) @MorphinESTP: Hilarious! You say "This is why Wikipedia is increasingly becoming an untrusted source." but here you are, desperately trying to influence what articles say. Looking over your contributions, it looks like you need to read WP:MEDRS, so your editing is even less-reliable than our supposedly-low standards. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:41, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
@Chris troutman Yes, I am trying to help improve it. But, truthfully, BLPS, subjective crapolla ain't my area. I'm a pathologist assistant, as I've said, and I deal with toxinology, venoms, and histopathology. MorphinESTP (talk) 01:13, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

Vorpahavak

You are allowed to object to speedy deletion, I understand that, but why did you revert my previous TWO edit(one having nothing to do with speedy deletion) and why did you ignore my other two points. Also would you have a problem with it being merged with the armenian genocide article Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 22:53, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

If you want to merge it, propose that. But the speedy deletion criteria doesn't apply and adding it was disruptive. PRAXIDICAE🌈 22:54, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
I have run in to this problem before, but what if you believe all the info is already on the article it should be merged with. and why did you also delete my other edit, that had nothing to do with deletion. Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 23:00, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
I didn't say I believed it should be merged, I said if you want it to be merged, make a proposal but do not tag it for a criteria that does not exist. PRAXIDICAE🌈 23:01, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
Nobody is saying it should be merged! all Im saying is that the article doesnt need to exist because the info is ALREADY THERE on another page. Also please explain why you refuse to answer my question about also reverting my other edit. Did you even read the edit? Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 23:06, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
Again, I'm not going to continue arguing with you about this. The deletion criteria does not apply. If you disagree, take it to WP:AFD. And I removed the edit you made before tagging it because it appeared to be incorrect. PRAXIDICAE🌈 23:06, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
How was that edit incorrect? Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 23:08, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

It Automatically Becomes A Redirect

Im not sure if you read WP:PAGEMOVE but I dont need to leave a redirect as it auto redirects. also nowhere on the WP:PAGEMOVE does it say that I need a consensus Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 23:38, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

That wasn't what I said - you cannot move an article to a generic topic like that without WP:CONSENSUS. It has nothing to do with redirects. Don't move it again. PRAXIDICAE🌈 23:39, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
and further, don't create lists of people based on your own personal research. PRAXIDICAE🌈 23:40, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
You litterly said "moved page List of Orthodox Christians to List of Eastern Orthodox Christians over a redirect without leaving a redirect: you absolutely need to get consensus for this - they are not the same". I acknowledge they arent the same but based on that standard there would have to be 17 different pages for the 17 different autocepuolus churches . Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 23:44, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
you moved the entire page to a title that neglected the "eastern" part. Stop. And further, you don't seem to understand how editing here works and your constant badgering on my talk page is not welcome. PRAXIDICAE🌈 23:58, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
Yes I am aware that I moved it to exclude the eastern part and I explained why I did that on the edit summary. It wasnt to "neglect" the eastern part it was because WP:MV says I could move it if the scope of the article changed. At the time I moved it Bob Marley an Oriental Orthodox christian was on that page. Also the photo was inclusive of OO Christians. Futhermore I am not badgering anyones page, Its if your gonna revert my edits I would like to know why. Greenhighwayconstruction (talk) 00:11, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
d as I explained - you need to get consensus. It was contested and now your next step is consensus and WP:RM. Discuss it on the talk page. Not here.n PRAXIDICAE🌈 00:20, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

John Shownmi Article

If you don't mind @Praxidicae please explain further as to why you have outlined "nonsense sources" whilst deleting citations to National TV appearances (ITV) and regional press (Newshopper & Kent Online.) Not to mention ensuring the integrity of the articles layout be deemed unsuitable by wikipedia standards by removing over half the content, where as the page merely could have a need for more citation tag.

You've added an undisclosed paid tag, what gave you the notion of this? The history clearly displays @Paul W as the wikipedian who brought this article into the namespace , a closer look at Paul's page and you'll notice why he is a respected wikipedian and credible to write said article, whom I doubt would accept a payment for such. Since your haste and brash attitude towards this article is displayed not only in your edits but summaries too, I am doubtful you checked let alone asked before stating assumptions of undisclosed payments on the article.

Wikiedituti (talk) 13:32, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

Paul did not write the article they simply accepted it. And I've outlined repeatedly what bad sources are, I'm not going to spoon feed you the information again. PRAXIDICAE🌈 13:39, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
@Praxidicae again that simply isn't true Paul made several amendments to a draft before moving it to the public space again verified by the page history
I did not require spoon feeding nor was it requested , I questioned why notable sources (TV and regional news) were deleted and dismissed as "nonsense"
and that a claim of undisclosed payment with a page history able to verify otherwise.
Your edits to this article were unjust, your tag unnecessary and your summaries unhelpful and is now apparent for all to see. I will be working on this article shortly and will pay attention to the sources but your destructive approach to this article was not appreciated at all
Wikiedituti (talk) 16:19, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
I'm not going to restore the sources and in fact there are several more that need to be removed. This is obviously the product of paid editing. PRAXIDICAE🌈 16:21, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

Good evening,

I would like to inquire into what's going on with the "Nicholas County High School (West Virginia)" page. I worked a decent bit on the page back in late 2019/early 2020 before COVID hit. I understand that several months ago, the page was moved to the draft space by an unregistered user so the page could be improved. To their credit, the user did make several improvements to the page; unfortunately, the user has not made progress with the page since March (and in fact has not made an edit since March), thus putting the article in a perpetual state of needing improvement while also being inaccessible.

Therefore, I boldly moved the article back into the main space so it could be improved, while also not being hidden from visitors to Wikipedia. On the same day, the page was made a redirect to the article "Summersville, West Virginia", and if the page has been moved back to the draft space, I am unable to find it.

I am aware that the article is far from perfect, but I believe that it is an article worth keeping public, and I am more than willing to fix the many issues the article faces. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction as far as what's going on with the article.

Isaacwhy Page Deletion

Hello, I just want to apologize that I’ve been recreating the Isaacwhy page, but I also want to let you know that Isaacwhy is a notable and significant person. They have 1 million subscribers and they post frequently, so I do not understand why it wasn’t notable. If I didn’t provide a reference to the channel then that is on me.

Edit in peace

I have no issues with you other than your fluttering around the project gathering diffs. I think you are a respected editor on the project, and all of your efforts are not commensurate with your status. I will ask you to not follow me around, and I will do the same for you. Lightburst (talk) 21:36, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

Certainly not following you around, I'm involved in discussions you jumped into but also it's kind of ironic you're whining on my talk page about a perceived slight when you're effectively keeping a hit list of editors on your own userpage. But hey, we can avoid running into each other if you stay out of deletion discussions and related areas, would certainly solve your primary problem. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:42, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
Sorry, the project is for all to contribute and I will likely see you in many AfDs. I have no hit list - you probably saw from the Halloween thread that I have no power to hit. You don't see me trying to get anybody banned - but I see you trying to do just that. Try respect, and I will do the same. Lightburst (talk) 21:53, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

Request on 02:35:29, 12 July 2022 for assistance on AfC submission by Natethegreat4226

Requesting a chat on a page that you have reviewed for advice/suggestions. Hello, First of all, thank you for reviewing my article I put in for review, Tharaldson Park. It is my first creation for a stadium/field entry so I am very much still learning what is relevant, what should be noted, etc.

I know you posted that the topic isn't very relevant. I created it since more and more North Dakota State Softball pages are being created as well as several Summit League Softball Tournament pages, I figured it would be relevant to make a stadium page for it so that there is a reference to it.

I see that you said lots of the material is copyrighted. Since I haven't looked at it in a little while, I see that now. I will add more independent sources, do you have any specific advice for the material that is copyrighted/suggestions for additional information?

Thank you for your time.

Thanks for the reply. Can you give me some detail on this WP:SOCK issue. I was not aware of that. ~Kvng (talk) 20:59, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
Look at the history for yourself, @Kvng. The only contributors to the actual content are socks but in any case, no I'm not going to move a poorly written, poorly sourced BLP to mainspace. If you feel it's appropriate, do it yourself and it can be hashed out at AFD. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:00, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, that doesn't look too good. I'm sorry that I had to bother you with this but I wasn't able to read your mind. Sorry I didn't dig into it myself earlier. I am moving fast and making mistakes. But so are editors putting stuff up for deletion. ~Kvng (talk) 21:56, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
Certainly appreciate the apology but there is no mind reading needed - as the stock summary states "not ready for mainspace" and that's evidenced by the fact that not only is it written poorly, which on it's own isn't a great reason to draftify, but it is entirely unsupported by sources in the article or elsewhere and it takes very little time to figure that out and verify it. I'm not sure what "other editors" putting stuff up for deletion has to do with this since no one has nominated this for deletion. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:58, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
Here's how it looks from my end: "Not ready for mainspace" doesn't tell me it's an autobiography. There are sources, just not sigcov. It is short enough that it wouldn't be hard to fix "poorly written". ~Kvng (talk) 22:05, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
The fact that it's an autobio is pretty irrelevant. I'm not sure why over the course of a week you insisted on this being mainspace worthy but apparently did not bother to take the time to actually, you know, read it or look at the "sources". PRAXIDICAE🌈 22:08, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
I think we're done here. ~Kvng (talk) 22:16, 13 July 2022 (UTC)

Gay Gang Murders

Hi, you thought my article was not my paraphrasing or I had taken info from somewhere else. I am a lawyer and have worked in this area for 30 years and most of what I wrote there were my actual own words & my own paraphrase from my own knowledge, given for the last 15 yrs I've been helping get justice on some of these cases - successfully. I rattle this stuff off all the time. I am very happy to give my information away free as I believe it is essential for historical accuracy.
Did it sound too formal? I am thorough in getting this info correct, as it is complex & people too often misquote the facts. So perhaps it seems like I have taken it from somewhere else. I haven't. I can just sit & write it all easily as it's my information & expertise. If it's not mine, I quoted it. I have recently given a huge amount of evidence to Parliamentary Inquiries & now to a Judicial Commission.
95% (maybe more) of what I wrote is straight from my head, my own research, my own knowledge, my own experience of a lifetime's work. except where I quoted something and then I used quotations then. Did I incorrectly use "link" instead of "cite"? Is that what was actually wrong? I did actually paraphrase everything. I didn't even cut & paste from any of my previous documents. That takes me too long & I"m not well.
I have a spinal cord injury & am a partial quadriplegic with many daily challenges so can't sit for too long as too much pain. I work in bursts. And really dislike inaccuracy in this area, hence decided to take approx 20 hrs so people could actually have a reference point of accurate information for posterity.
This is my area of expertise since 1990. Maybe people don't often give away their experience & knowledge so readily and thus you think I have used other's information.
It is my info & my expertise and it is all from my knowledge, not someone else's that I should be paraphrasing. I am paraphrasing myself.
Am I missing something here??
I didn't copy or translate anything from any other Wikipedia project. Did I wrongly link to people's names when I used their name & that made you think I took something.
I am the Sue Thompson who I just wrote a lot about, it's my years of work. WHat do you need me to do please so that you might very kindly put that back up so that there is an easy to access, yes irrevocably given freely, "free content" source document for this area.
We are currently in our 15th year of full on battle on these issues. I've had to come out of medical retirement with my serious injuries to try to help at great personal cost.
Again - WHat do you need me to do please so that you might very kindly put that back up so that there is an easy to access, yes irrevocably given freely, "free content" source document for this area?

There is only one theatre brochure up there that I don't have actual copyright to "Our Blood Runs in the Street". It is easy to remove. There is nothing else that I can see that you are referring to.
However, how do I actually now edit to remove anything like that, so that it may go up again?
Every correction, edit & addition of info from me has been deleted. Wiki now has up an article with many errors, which I was fixing.
I have written the rest of it (from my own personal knowledge as the source given it's my work of 32 yrs, no copyright issues anywhere). as I am the expert on these issues in Australia.

It's like a blanket removal of anything I have added, changed, referenced, quoted. It's not just a couple of things. You have gone back to an incorrect article with major factual errors but seem ok about that problem. I really do not understand. My social media network doesn't either. Is it because I am not American. It's about my work area & expertise?? Very confusing. Thank you Xena&gabrielle (talk) 01:55, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Explaining a problem

Hello.

This just explains a process that happened and is in no way a request.

Hello.

Like many other people, I started editing Wikipedia, became interested in this topic, and translated some articles from English to Persian and from Persian to English. After this, I got familiar with the AFC process and submitted the articles to AFC to get them reviewed beforehand.

Until one of my articles was confirmed, I got a message on the screen with this explanation (here): "you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.".

After this message, I thought it would be better to create the articles in the main space directly, and I created some articles like this and this and this, without any problem.

After this issue and the publication of the articles in the main space, I transferred Arsha Aghdasi and Milad Nouri's article from the draft to the main space after cleaning and adding sources. Arsha Aghdasi's article was moved to the draft by an admin and I submitted it through AFC, which was rejected after several submissions and left it for other editors to make it more complete.

after that, I moved Milad Nouri's article to draft (without CSD or other tags) with this comment : (I moved this article to main space by mistake. move to drafts for complete and clean up the article.) (the log is here) and preffer to submit it in AFC process to be reviewed by more experienced editors.

For the title of the article (Milad Nouri (presenter, born 1986)), I took a template from Milad Nouri (footballer, born 1993), Milad Nouri (footballer, born 1986).

So far, this page has been deleted once due to being moved by me. 1

After a few months when I forgot to post this article in AFC, the draft was automatically deleted and I requested here to restore this draft.

After some cleanup, I submitted this article in AFC and was accepted by a reviewer (log is here) with this comment:

"Missvain moved page Draft:Milad Nouri (presenter, born 1986) to Milad Nouri (Iranian television presenter): Publishing accepted Articles for creation submission (AFCH 0.9.1)".

So another deletion log was registered for Milad Nouri (presenter, born 1986) because the reviewer moved it to Milad Nouri (Iranian television presenter).

After that, another editor moved the page to Milad Nouri (television presenter) with this comment  (WP:CONCISEWP:PRECISE) (log is here), and another deletion log was registered for Milad Nouri (television presenter). after that

I requested the AFC reviewer to move the article to Milad Nouri (computer programmer) on my talk page (log is here). but she moved Milad Nouri (disambiguation page ) by mistake (log is here) with this comment: "Missvain moved page Milad Nouri to Milad Nouri (computer programmer)."

after I explained to her this mistake, she moved page Milad Nouri (computer programmer) to Milad Nouri again (log is here) whith this comment: "over redirect (accident.)". and deleted page Milad Nouri (computer programmer) whit this comment "(G6: Housekeeping and routine (non-controversial) cleanup)" (log is here) and another deletion log registered for Milad Nouri (computer programmer).

And she moved the correct article Milad Nouri (television presenter) to Milad Nouri (computer programmer) with this comment "Per article creator request. Any other decisions about this name change should take place on the article talk page with consensus." (log is here)

After this redirect, another deletion log was registered for Milad Nouri (television presenter).

you can check my request and this mistake here on my talk page.

and after that, you added a CSD tag to the article, and an admin deleted the article for spam. (the article that was submitted and accepted in the AFC process).

After article deletion, another deletion log was registered for the article and all redirect pages.

Probably, in the future, if this article is resubmitted after improvement, it will be rejected by any editor at first sight (because of these many deletions, all due to name changes, redirects, mistakes, etc.) Because they will mistakenly think that this article has been created and deleted dozens of times.

You also wrote on Randykitty’s talk page, “It's been recreated a dozen times by various socks (and deleted from Fawiki for not being notable, which indicates to me that the Farsi sources do not in fact support any of the content.) “.

While this article was not created and deleted dozens of times, it did not have any deletion log in Fawiki when you wrote it on Randykitty’s talk page.

I explained this complicated incident to you because it may happen to other articles.

Writing and explaining this process was complicated. I hope it's not that complicated to read :)

Thank you. KidsOnTheMoon (talk) 06:09, 20 July 2022 (UTC)

Zegna (brand)

Hi @Praxidicae,

I saw that you removed my new entry dedicated to Zegna (brand), redirecting it to the Zegna entry. The creation of the new entry was due to the need to distinguish the famous brand from the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, which is discussed in the entry titled simply "Zegna."

I tried to draft the proposed Zegna (brand) entry taking into account Wikipedia's criteria as much as possible and enriching it with numerous third-party sources to support the information. Do you think it is possible to restore it, possibly even with corrections if judged emphatic in some parts?

As you can see from my talk page, user DIVINE accepted the submission of the new entry and he suggested me to discuss this topic directly with you to find a solution.

Thank you for your helpfulness.

Because, as I explained multiple times, adding a note that she changed her name etc...is NOT A PUBLISHED RELIABLE SOURCE. PRAXIDICAE🌈 21:54, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

Draft:HealthySure

Hey thanks for the quick review,

Removed the product part from the company page. Now it only has the following sections : Introduction, History (Founding and Funding), Growth and Other Initiatives. No promotional language used. Everything supported by proper citations

References include credible sites like Inc42, Time of India, Mint, CNBCTV18, Crunchbase, BW Disrupt and VCCircle. by the way I am trying to add a reference from yourstory.com but not being able to. I can see \.yours\.at in https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Spam_blacklist. Is this some mistake?

Open to changes suggested by you to get this approved.

Draft:Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management College

Hello there,

I saw you declined my Article ""Draft:Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management College"" for reliable sources. But last time it was declined by RPSkokie. He also left a reason and the reason is ""The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University"". But on his last declined he didn't left any comment about the reliable sources. I want to say you that this is an Business School in Kolkata and all references source came Organically like TV interviews, Online article publish. All those sources are verified. Even I can see that the article is not like an advertisement. Also there is no affiliation or relation with ""Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University"". Can you please tell me what's wrong with this article about the Institute. Ghadamakhouls (talk) 16:32, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

Hello. I am MdaNoman from Bangladesh. I had tagged the page with CSD. But I thought that it should be gone under PROD. But you tagged as CSD. What is your comment in this regard?--Abdullah(Talk) 19:40, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

What was your reason?

Hello Praxidicae, what was your reason for moving Portable musician back to draft because I would rather prefer an AFD discussion if your reason was about reliable source. Gabriel601 (talk) 14:51, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

Hi Praxidicae. Given your recent G4 tag at Omoba Central Model School, you may be interested in a new topic I have started at Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy#Article re-created in mainspace after AfD consensus of "draftify" to get some clear procedural guidance on these situations. (I agree the article should be deleted. For the life of me, I'm not sure the correct procedure, and I'm not sure G4 is correct - but I'll leave it for an admin to figure out at the actual article.) Singularity42 (talk) 17:16, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

G4 is still correct imo and I don't feel like engaging in another circular discussion at WT:Deletion policy. If someone moves an article that was sent to draft space via AFD without a proper review, it should be treated as a G4 or sent right back to draft space. Thanks for notifying me though. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:18, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
It probably should be G4. Maybe that conversation will result in a modification of G4 to expressly allow for that. (And if the article is deleted now per G4, I won't weep...) Singularity42 (talk) 17:19, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
For the record, it was deleted under G12; the non-infringing content was identical to what was in the draft so I kept the G4 tag on as well. Primefac (talk) 18:05, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

What linked source?. I have reworded scholarship and been very careful no to breach any copyrights. I have been very careful about that. It is re-worded material from scholarship. Darylprasad (talk) 14:30, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
This lays it out pretty clearly. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 14:34, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
That is not the section I was working on. I was working on the topic 'Biography' only. I have not touched any other topics. I did also add the 'Selected bibliography' topic. Those other topics have not been edited by me. Could you please restore the 'Biography' topic and the 'Selected bibliography' topic. I will work on re-writing the other topics. I have not edited any other topics. The text you have found in branch of copyright was not put there by me.Darylprasad (talk) 14:37, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
The topic 'The One' and 'Emanation by the One' are in breach of copyright and should be deleted. I wasn't up to them yet as I was finishing off the 'Biography' topic in my update of the Article. Darylprasad (talk) 15:08, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
I have removed all the old text that was in breach of copyright. I will re-write those topics soon. Darylprasad (talk) 15:16, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
The new version of the Article I just put up is not in breach of copyright. Darylprasad (talk) 15:18, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
The version of the article you just removed has no copyright breaches. I suppose you need to check it all out but the version 15:14, 29 July 2022‎ is clean. I hope you sort this out soon.

Hello Praxidicae, you deleted all my modifications on this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Believe_Music), and said that i m a "spam". I respect your work, and respect all the things you've done for Wikipedia, but if you look in detail my modifications, you ll see : 1. I improved pages on French firms and Music industries before, 2. On this specific page, i justified and sourced all the modifications. Maybe i I should not have moved page to Believe (Company) ? Can i just restore my previous modifications ? Abigail Thorn as a playwright

So, a user decided to add that Abigail Thorn was a playwright and you reverted it and left a comment that just says "Definitely not" (Revision as of 18:49, 12 July 2022). Is there a policy on Wikipedia that prevents that change? Because Abigail literally wrote a play called "The Prince" that is going to be shown in a few months (as seen here, last paragraph), and playwright is literally just "a person who writes plays" by all dictionary definitions I have seen by searching, so saying "Definitely not" seems a bit... harsh? AnAkemie (talk) 03:04, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

While I cannot speak for Praxidicae directly (and I do somewhat think the wording of her edit summary was overly critical), I agree that her revert was appropriate. Writing a single play does not make someone a playwright - it should be something that they are known for doing on a regular (or semi-regular) basis as part of "what they do". Your dictionary definition even agrees with us, in that the key word in a person who writes plays is plays (plural). Should Thorn start writing more plays and it becomes "her thing" then by all means the article can be changed to include it, but for now it should probably stay out of the lead and infobox. Primefac (talk) 07:49, 31 July 2022 (UTC) (talk page stalker)
@Primefac Well, thank you for your response. I actually wanted to go to the talk page but Praxidicae seems to have way more experience, so it seemed better to just ask the rationale directly.
Anyway, I am not that convinced by an artist becoming an artist when they do a thing more than once. For example, an anonymous artist is still known by their artistic capabilities even when we may only know only one thing they have done. I would argue if the person did it in a professional way, once is enough to be considered an artist on that area.
That is exactly why I asked if there's a policy on that, because I think both of our views are correct in a way; it's more of a personal opinion. AnAkemie (talk) 14:49, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
@AnAkemie: I think the relevant issue is more about relative coverage and characterization in reliable sources, rather than the dictionary definition of playwright.
If sources consistently define Thorn as a playwright, then the Wikipedia article should reflect that; otherwise it should not be used as a defining feature in the lead section. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biography § Lead section says: Well-publicized recent events affecting a subject, whether controversial or not, should be kept in historical perspective. What is most recent is not necessarily what is most noteworthy: new information should be carefully balanced against old, with due weight accorded to each. We will not contact you via email, and Wikipedia's inclusion policy has absolutely nothing to do with how "worthy" something is. We have articles on terrible things and terrible people. What matters is if a subject has been discussed at length in multiple third-party publications with editorial oversight. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 17:49, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Bishop as CCS?

You undid a CSD of mine on a bishop that I didn’t think qualified as notable. I am not necessarily contesting your decision but trying to receive clarification. Do you think the biography meets the basic or additional criteria as stipulated by WP:BIO, and if so how? I couldn’t see how just by being a bishop a person was notable. —Caorongjin 💬 00:51, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

It is a WP:CCS which is not the same as WP:N. I don't feel strongly about the subject one way or another but if you do, I suggest AFDing it. PRAXIDICAE🌈 01:02, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
