Hey there, thanks for weighing in on the Robyn Crawford page. I contest that her best friendship with Houston is extremely well known, not a false claim simply just now coming to light. This dates back many, many years and no one contests that this isn't fact. As for the romance part, I get what you're saying. One other item: The TV appearances are not minor, so it would be great if you restored that section. And about the concert that I was remove from the page.. the concert was not Siti Nurhaliza main concert, she just one of the guests artists in that concert.. all the deleted had been explained well in the history..

ok, being listed is not automatic notability but I read in that page Examples of such sources include independent press coverage and analyst reports. Accordingly, article authors should make sure to seek out such coverage and add references to such articles to properly establish notability.. On itwiki was deleted years ago but the article was completely different and written by another user. That was an advertising, it's true, you can find it the sandbox here. There are a lot of articles in main italian newspapers that inclued the company in the titles and these are not press release. Please read my last url with automatic translator. Rather than call the removal "disruptive," it would be great if you researched why I removed the banner, which is actually quite the opposite of disruption. I dispute that this removal is "not allowed." The guide for removal states: "Maintenance templates are not meant to be in articles permanently. Any user without a conflict of interest may remove a maintenance template in any of the following circumstances: 1) When the issue has been adequately addressed."

I adequately addressed the issue; the "we don't need a dozen links to where her books are published" is kind of missing the point; I placed them there as proof of her work for major publishing houses and companies such as Simon & Schuster, Disney, Penguin Random House, and more. This is a form of proof of her notability, is it not? I've previously contributed to or created articles about illustrators, and no one there disputed/had any issue with such links. They're solely intended to prove that the claims she has worked for these publishers and companies is true.

Can I also gently point out that your tone comes across as very angry and aggressive? I hope you can see that I'm doing my best to meet Wikipedia standards and I have the best intentions at heart in making positive contributions. I have created or contributed to dozens of pages without any issue from other editors. Everyone has their shortcomings, but there's no need to come at me in a threatening way. I sincerely hope that you can respect the work I'm doing and not take my actions as disruptive. I also hope we can come to an understanding re: the Syed page. Invite: Would you help hunt down more citations to strengthen the article? @Caterpillar84: The AfD template is not a maintenance template; it is a template that advises other editors that discussion is under way about deletion of the article. BioNTech

Hi, I have tried to fulfill all the WIkipedia criteria in the revision of the article and honestly do not understand this reaction. This page should not be speedily deleted because BioNTech is a reputable biotechnology company that explores new approaches to cancer therapy and has generated really important medical science insights. The company should therefore be included in the Wikipedia encyclopaedia. The earlier, deleted article has been extensively (!) revised. The current article is neutral, contains no obvious advertising and does not violate any copyright rights (the Sec report is publicly available, it has been referenced but not cited). I think a speedy deletion is inappropriate and urge you to reconsider this decision (a lot of meticulous research and time has gone into creating the article). Before a deletion, therefore, the responsible persons should intensively deal with the contents of the article and the background of the company. In my view, it should be about the encyclopaedic recording of important advances in medicine (and also companies that generate these advances). Burton Clarke Draftspace

Hi there! I will say I'm new to Wikipedia, but I recently created a page for the cartoonist Burton Clarke and you pulled it into draftspace for insufficient sources (I did also note that one of the sources I cited was properly removed as it is unreliable, so thank you for that). I've seen Wikipedia pages with less content than mine which have remained up, and the sourcing guidelines as far as quantity go seem to be somewhat arbitrary, based on whatever the intervening user believes constitutes "too little". It's not arbitrary. Wikipedia is a volunteer project with fewer volunteers than articles (a few hundred active editors vs. several million articles.) When problems are identified, they are fixed. In this case, please see WP:OTHERSTUFF. Praxidicae (talk) 20:05, 3 December 2019 (UTC)

I get your point, but education, to include history, is not a soapbox. Nothing that was on the page could be contested as anything other than historical fact. Did you actually read anything that was on the page? Sure, I hadn't added citations yet, but history is fairly easy to cite. The installation exists; there is no denying that. Rather than deleting several hours worth of work, it would have been vastly more productive to read and review the content. So, I ask that you give the content a chance, and then the community can peer-review rather than doing nothing as has been done thus far. I am willing to do that, but it looks like you are not. Hi @Praxidicae, thanks for your input in the article. I have been working on the article based on your observations and members of the chat advised me to talk with you about the COI issue. I read from cover to cover the COI Wikipedia article and I understand I fulfill the requirements to be an author for this article. I am not a friend, relative, employee, or nothing related other than my interest in the field of his expertise. It was closed with no action in the correct case with no action. I'm not a CU or SPI clerk but I'd recommend requesting deletion of that since no one felt the need to take any actual action, it's under the wrong case and they've had no edits since the case was closed. Hello Randybaah! Thank you for adding that information. I think Justice Anin-Yeboah is notable according to Wikipedia's guidelines, we just need to be careful of a few things. One of the reasons why Praxidicae marked the article for speedy deletion is that large portions of the text were copied from copyrighted newspaper articles, something that Wikipedia doesn't do. I think those are good sources, we just need to put them in our own words and then reference them (just like the references you used in your article). I agree that the article as it's currently written doesn't seem to be promotional, but we could definitely do some work on it. Let's go back to your Sandbox and I can get started on helping you with a re-write, and then hopefully we can get the article accepted! :) Bkissin (talk) 17:21, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Why have you replaced my new page "P45 day" with a redirect to the "P45" disambiguation age?

In doing so, I think you've missed the point of the new page. "P45 day" is not meant to discuss the "P45" leaving work form, but a nickname given to a day said to see more people face disciplinary action at work due to trouble they get themselves into on "BLack Eye Friday", when people traditionally go drinking (too much) on the last Friday at work before Christmas in the UK.

My new page had already been reviewed by "Krakkos". I'll revert the edit to the page I'd created for the reasons given above.

A recent Request for Comment on creating a new redirect autopatrol pseduo-permission was closed early. Re: Speedy deletion nomination of Nervosa (band)

Hi. I have no problem with the deletion of the Nervosa (band) article I created, having no interest in promoting the band. I only created the page so that the band would have a home in case somebody felt tempted to overwrite the Nervosa album article again. Hello, I am new at Wikipedia so please bear with me. I got 2 notes from you. One about the entry I wrote Friends of the Chicago River and the other about disclosure. I thought being "paid" meant I was a for-hire company/contractor writing the entry for someone else. I am the communications director of the Friends of the Chicago River, a non-profit environmental group for which I am, indeed paid. I added the disclosure part to my bio. I understand that I can request someone else to write the entry but I am not clear on the absolute-ness of someone with an interest in a topic writing about it. Am I prohibited? Tagging of Cognizance IIT Roorkee

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Cognizance IIT Roorkee. I do not think that Cognizance IIT Roorkee fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because Not remotely similar to previously deleted version. Previous version cited 7 refs. This cites 74, and quite a few look to be reliable sources with significant coverage. There is some promotional language, but not nearly at the G11 level. Editing is needed, but not deletion. I request that you consider not re-tagging Cognizance IIT Roorkee for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. I do not understand what is promotional about the language used. It is not an advertisement of the hospital, I stated facts. In the accolades section I cited directly from US News and World Report. Djflem Asides what Praxidicae said. Even if it wasn’t a copy-vio related issue your statements imply that the article was too young for a speedy delete tag to be placed on it. I don’t seem to comprehend are you part of the editors that encourage new users/other editors to move half baked articles to mainspace? There’s a sandbox & draftspace for all your work to be done before submitting it via an AFC or moving it to mainspace. Hi Praxidicae, Thank you for your feedback on the page I am trying to create (King's Seafood Company). Wikipedia can be a little tricky sometimes and I didn't know how to exactly state that I am employed by King's Seafood, so I appreciate you pointing that out and making that easy. I don't want to advertise nor promote our company but I do believe it is notable and worthy of having a Wikipedia page built for it.

I will work on changing the tone of the wording to reflect a completely neutral, non-biased, tone but to my understanding I had a good amount of notable sources and articles. Is there any way you could help me understand why my references and sources are falling short?

Hi Praxidicae, I'm acting as a mentor for the newbie User:Dr. Julius Menden in the German Wikipedia. His intention is to write articles about the football player Heider Al Abaidi. Obviously, it was a misunderstanding to name the article Draft:... here, since it was intended to establish a draft version in his user namespace (where he can try to prepare a more elaborate version of the article). So, would it be ok, just to move the article to s.th. like User:Dr._Julius_Menden/Heider Al Abaidi ? Or would this be another violation of a rule since he started s.th. like an official review process, as I understood. Please give us a hint. @Rolf acker: Also in the interest of saving your time since I wasted so much of mine today researching this person, I searched in arabic, german and English language projects and sources - even unreliable ones and with spelling variants and I came back with exactly 0 sources to verify a single claim other than this guy apparently likes soccer and took a photo that appeared in a paper. I checked every single clubs website and squad rosters that were available and still, nothing. I don't know what Menden's goal is here but I would strongly caution any mentor to take a look at the research I did before encouraging them to edit further about this person. I hope I'm not being a cotton-headed ninny muggins, but I have reverted this edit, in which you removed content with the edit summary "copyvio https://www.nlm.nih.gov/hmd/digicolls/cummings/biography.html". Text published by the United States government is not subject to copyright, and indeed there is a page on the web site www.nlm.nih.gov which explicitly says that content may be freely reused. The web site requests (but does not require) acknowledgement of the source, which is why I made an edit providing acknowledgement in an edit summary. I have in the past been aware of other, similar, templates, so if I had remembered them I might have looked for that one, but I didn't remember them. As for not copying content wholesale, I totally agree. In fact, content from almost all sources, government or otherwise, should not be copied wholesale, for many reasons, one of which I mentioned on the talk page of the author of the draft. However, as you say, it's not my sandbox, and I don't intend to attempt to deal with all the issues that I have noticed. I will, though, mention Template:Include-NIH to the author. Renaming

Due to some typos that were made I eventually decided upon Cucibdua as the username i'll like to be renamed as at my change request entry. That's the only reason I've unfortunately got three separate rename requests at the moment. Additionally I replied at every rename request with the message "Cucibdua is the username i'll like to be renamed to at my change request entry".
