Thievy Bifouma[edit]

Hello again. Yes, both are FIFA members but Cape Verde-Congo friendly is not FIFA match. It still can be added to list of goals but not part of official stats. Reasons for it not being FIFA match can be many. Most likely it was counted as training match because it was part of build up for Africa Cup. Hope you understand now. Thank you very much. GoalsGalore (talk) 23:36, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at the FIFA.com fixtures and results list. Its not there anymore, its been deleted. Thank you. GoalsGalore (talk) 01:02, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know why you have to sound a bit arrogant my man. I already told you from start that it is not FIFA match. That means its not on FIFA's list anymore. There is no other meaning of non-FIFA match. You even bring up Catalonia for whatever reason. But anyway now you know. Thank you. GoalsGalore (talk) 01:12, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, as you said in one of your edit summaries (you might want to tone them down btw!) while his father was Bosnian there is no indication that he holds that nationality. GiantSnowman 11:01, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Youth careers[edit]

Hi, I've set up a discussion at WT:FOOTY#Youth careers in infobox to take this discussion further and get a broader consensus. Cheers, --Jimbo[online] 13:40, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Marco Asensio[edit]

I don't know what's your source bur RCD Mallorca stated offically he's on loan. [1] Sergio M. Alonso (talk) 11:20, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Coll[edit]

No, sorry, it isn't good enough. The burden is on the editor adding the content to also add the source. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 16:55, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what you mean by "Why all the hate": I was answering the question you posed in your edit summary. Thank you for pointing out the source in the template. Unfortunately, we can't expect the reader to go off to a template, even if they knew where to find it, to verify your content.
Now I have looked at the source, I see it says Mr Coll was coach in the 75/76 season, but not specifically in just 1976, which is what you added to the infobox. I'll undo that bit, and re-add once I've found out a bit more. Thank you for your help. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 17:18, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Beleza[edit]

E esta frase, impressionante: "In the summer of 2013, he entered Cypriot football by signing for Cypriot club Aris Limassol", pensava que o Aris jogava na Albânia! Enfim... --84.90.219.128 (talk) 05:42, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Aí, veja, no próprio Moutinho: "In 2004, he joined Pampilhosa, playing for the club till 2006." Socorro! MYS77 13:22, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ola[edit]

Hi MYS77, long time no talk.

Should the pages Vitolo and Víctor Machín Pérez be moved? It is debatable which is the primary player (neither are full internationals), so should it be "Vitolo (footballer, born....)" for each one, or remain as it is? '''tAD''' (talk) 17:56, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moved both and set Vitolo as disambiguation. Turns out that a king of a tiny Pacific island was also called that name. Oh the things we learn on this website! '''tAD''' (talk) 18:58, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting[edit]

This guy had not touched his talkpage in FIVE YEARS, I send him a polite message (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Dominator19&diff=651289190&oldid=620703871) he blanks the page? Another guy making me feel like wikishit, very sad indeed. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:55, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry about it mate. Seems like the people who doesn't want to contribute at all are more right than we are... But we can't let these things pull us down, let's keep our work (your is one of the best, of course) and stay calm. Cheers :) MYS77 22:33, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct of course ;) And, as soon as I get my translation done (still 100 pages to go more or less) I have to work on Mário Felgueiras and Hugo Moutinho, I know Roy is not a vandal, but there is no way I can let those pages look the way they do! Cheers back! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 23:47, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance[edit]

How is it going mate? All well? Hopefully yes,

can you please (if not I understand, and we can also ask them at WP:FOOTY or so) move the following pages: the PEDRO MENDES in my country, we have Pedro Filipe Mendes, Pedro Rafael Amado Mendes, Pedro Mendes (footballer, born 1990) (check edit history to see who created this one!) and Pedro Miguel da Silva Mendes, don't think there any more than these four. Please don't forget that #1 and #3 need the MONTH also in description, because YEAR is the same.

Spanish guys now: the NACHOS, the only one duly moved is the Real Msdrid player, still missing are Ignacio Pérez Santamaría, Ignacio Fernández Rodríguez, José Ignacio Fernández Palacios and José Ignacio Martínez García (I think no more).

Another subject now: speaking of the strange guys you say I find, what you have you got on this fellow? I know he can have an article without any problems because he played top flight football in Hong Kong and Indonesia, but frankly...

Best regards, tchau! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:59, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! All in Pedro Mendes, with their proper dates. Also all "Nachos" have a link to Nacho (disambiguation), where they're all correctly linked.
Damn, that's what we can call an unknown guy! He's now with Gavà, so I updated the page. Cheers, MYS77 13:49, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(Very) nice job! WP says "thank you MYS". --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:16, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you don't have anything else to do, and since it's a Spanish footballer, could you PLEASE clean up Igor Angulo (Mr. Roy)? Add REAL references, and leave SOCCERWAY and BDFUTBOL as what they are, links! I'm really full of work with my translation (80 pages to go, 1/2 week left), i'll later check the article for grammar "situations". As we say in Portuguese..."minha nossa senhora"!!

Many thanks, best regards --84.90.219.128 (talk) 22:50, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Fixed that messy storyline, apps and goals here and there... Good luck with your translation, my friend! Cheers, MYS77 15:04, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks, my part is also done (for example, added a ref for his hat-trick, I think LVD is a reliable source, we have added it in several Spanish footballers and no one has ever complained). Nice teamwork! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:42, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nice! Now that's a good storyline. Thanks! MYS77 15:57, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

+1 favour (will take you less than one minute): can you please go to FOOTBALLDATABASE.EU and retrieve a link to Jérôme Palatsi's article (I removed two links there because one was dead and the other was very poor, only contained one season and one club!)? I have used my five clicks of the day in this website, after that they make you register :(

Cheers, thank you in advance --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:46, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Cheers, MYS77 16:54, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Not really a Rogério Ceni this guy, no? Like they say in English, a poor man's Ceni... I know you are a Santos supporter, but when will this man (Ceni, not Palatsi) stop playing/scoring? Quite remarkable. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 17:07, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think Ceni is a legend, indeed. But his attitude is what makes me dislike him. He played superbly against Santos last month, unfortunately :( Cheerio, happy weekend! MYS77 17:12, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Again me bothering you :( Do you have any updates on Fernando Maestro? I think last time I checked FUTBOLME.com (which by the way has crashed again!!), Corralejo did not even appear as a club (not 100% sure, just think so). Cheers and thanks. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 22:56, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, and part of your work was reverted in Igor Angulo, with shouting included! Deb did what? He also added INT'L CAREER (with "references", BDFUTBOL!) and calls Diario AS MASDEPORTE! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 23:21, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks mate, I think the guy has a problem with me, sincerely. About Maestro: I'm not so sure, but I think the guy retired and became manager of Corralejo's youth setup. This reference helps a little bit (I think). But again, I'm not that sure, that's why I didn't update the page.
And it seems like I'll have to fix Carlos Carbonell Gil, known as Tropi, as the guy who created the page (Creed included in the "improvements", of course, as the kiddo is a Valencia player) did a pretty good mess in it.
Cheers mate! MYS77 02:47, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Creed? Oh, good luck! About Maestro, indeed in the link you show me, there is a picture (middle of the page, more or less) with him on the sidelines giving instructions. But then, in this link (see here http://www.lapreferente.com/index.php?IDequipo=6005), he seems to be active as of 2014-15. And he's not player-coach, the squad shows a different name in manager! Wow, how confusing... It would be interesting to know the date of the RTV Aguacabra article, but I don't see it anywhere.

About Mr. Deb? Maybe a problem with you, but also with me I'm almost sure (maybe my summaries, but I just could not help myself). Keep it up --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:56, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done with Tropi. About the link, if you throw it on Google, appears the date 7 April 2014 behind it. And I don't trust that much in Lapreferente too, they constantly keep some certain squads outdated, I only fully trust them when the matches are shown below.
And the RTV link says something about Maestro being the manager of the Juvenil squad, right? MYS77 03:14, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it does. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:35, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew Urwin[edit]

He didn't play, reports of him (e.g. BBC) doing so are a mistake. See official match report. GiantSnowman 08:42, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Basically one news agency incorrectly said he came on (a goalkeeper for an outfield player?!) and others repeated it... do you want to tag with WP:CSD#G7? GiantSnowman 08:41, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please check if my updates on this guy are correct? According to ZEROZERO.PT (not very reliable, I know) he played for TWO Nacional, it must be wrong info but I just want to be sure.

Cheers, happy week --84.90.219.128 (talk) 20:00, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Thanks to social media (LinkedIn and Facebook), I could find out that he retired, his last club being hometown's Nacional Muriaé. See here and here as the "proofs". Cheerio, MYS77 20:30, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Telepathy[edit]

I was about to write you a message about Aarón Fernández Sorroche, very interesting move on your part :) Yes, it needs to be deleted, don't know why I was so stupid to update/arrange article when it will be deleted with 100% of certainty :(

Cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:03, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I was the one who created the guy in my "dark days" (i.e. when I didn't know a thing about the guidelines). At least he'll be deleted with a lot of "pride", as the page is 100% correct and well-formatted. Cheers, MYS77 03:06, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

International goals[edit]

Hello, I noticed you undid my edit on Johan Mojica. On international goals in the score and results column you put the teams their play for first. --Skyblueshaun (talk) 20:01, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ajuda[edit]

MYS77 22:26, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
MYS77 22:36, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Goal Format[edit]

I believe the Goal Format I changed it to is correct. If you look at the majority of players, they show the Format I used. If both formats are acceptable, can we just leave it to what is most commonly used? Shield187 (talk) 14:45, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you keep the reference from Soccerway on the "Scores and results lists Colombia's goal tally first." instead of the individual game? Those individual game references tend to expire over time. The Soccerway ref is always active and updated.Shield187 (talk) 14:53, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This guy contradicted himself when he added a reference in this player's article, I think you should push for the article's deletion at WP:FOOTY, let's hear some more opinions.

Me, I am having the fight of my wiki-life right now, all available sources (NFT, RSSSF) say that Javad Nekounam has 148 caps, but the Iranian "users" go and write "151" in his box, even though the refs mentioned above clearly state those games were not considered official by FIFA. Maybe I will be blocked for 3RR, but I will not give up on this (and maybe I have already been reverted as we speak)!

Cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't get it, why the guy passes WP:GNG with a ref saying he's not a fully-pro player? Anyway...
About Nekounam: sent both vandals a "polite" warning. Cheers, MYS77 02:36, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Incredible!! The lousy punks continue in Nekounam, they keep "correcting" to 151 and now also remove the hidden message without one word in summary! I have tried everything (article's talk page conversation, conversing with an Iranian user to see if the ref I added where he says he has changed his mind about retiring from the NT is accurate - he could have changed his mind again), nothing! Talk about "respecting" other people's work.

Cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 21:38, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And now the page is blocked to EVERYONE! These guys are a bunch of stubborns... Cheers mate, happy weekend. MYS77 13:15, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And before the page was protected, User:GTVM92 still had time to insert the wrong version, please see his talkpage to see my polite message to him, I was also looking for more info from him since he's Iranian, maybe he knew something new about Mr. Nekounam the rest of the world did not know, his reply was ZERO followed by reversion (now, the "storyline" says he has retired from the national team and then ref #35 reads "Nekounam Changes Mind Over Iran Retirement", fucking brilliant!)

Cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:35, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Newsflash: found this from PERSIANFOOTBALL.com, seems he has retired alright (please see here http://www.persianfootball.com/news/2015/04/01/javad-nekounam-bids-farewell-to-international-career/). One of the Iranian users could have just sent me that info instead of leaving me talking to myself, but OK... --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:39, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Some people don't understand what the word "references" mean... And he edited the info in a completely wrong way, saying that the guy retired with a reference proving exactly the opposite thing. Cheers, MYS77 16:47, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And from our misunderstood wikifriend, check Alberto Botía, a game in Rome against Manchester United F.C. was "transformed" into a game against A.S. Roma! "Enjoy" --84.90.219.128 (talk) 01:57, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RRG, from RoyRoyGENIUS, of course! Brilliant additions, as always! Cheers mate, keep up the good (this time without any sarcasm, of course) work. MYS77 03:11, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just finished cleaning up Mário Sérgio, lost for words. But I tell you this, I removed and removed "storyline" (or infobox repetition!) and actually finished the cleanup with MORE refs, not LESS :) --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:53, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And now he removes honours, as seen in Gorka Iraizoz (re-reverted after you reverted him, I re-re-reverted and added some refs)! And I found out about this new chap, MESSIRULEZ, writes whole novels in storyline, cleaned up Giuseppe Bergomi, only to find out that Mauro Tassotti is in the same state... I give up! :( --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:05, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, and could you please help out at the re-ordering of categories? GS's newest "victims" are UE Olot and UE Cornellà, they are NEVER in the correct order in players and he adds them even if players only were with the given club as a youth (sometimes for god only knows how many months). I already did some in both clubs. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:13, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Last but not least, I don't know if I updated José Miguel Bermúdez correctly, please revert/correct me if not. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:51, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Luckily, fcf.cat has all the stats from the 2011–12 season. Updated him, per [4], [5] and [6]. Cheerio, MYS77 13:30, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. As for Mr. RR, he continues to add the titles like he wants (now they are all the same), I give up, just revert/compose/ignore... --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:38, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1- Moved back. These "contributor" who think they're the smart ones...

2- These types of nicknames are very, very specific, mate. It's the same guy, see here and here (two refs about his arrival at Al Rayyan) and a third one speaking about his move to Ypiranga. Cheers, you're welcome! MYS77 04:22, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![edit]

This one is similar to the Alberto Botía "contribution" of you know who. I am now cleaning up Mário Felgueiras' article, please don't go there in the following hours to avoid edit conflicts.

Look what I found: according to the guy that nominated it to good article (!), Felgueiras made his debut for the Portuguese under-21 team on 3 March 2008 (game was on the 26th), see this match report to see where he was and how many minutes he "played" (http://www.foradejogo.net/match.php?match=2009300031099031202). If good means bad in a parallel universe (the box repetition all over again in "storyline"), then I guess the article is good.

Cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:54, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Brilliant" additions! Don't know how this guy was a reviewer. At least his right to create pages was taken from him. MYS77 03:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Man, read ref #6 (you can read, just don't edit because I am, but I had to make a pause to show you this), according to "the man" he sustained an injury that prevented him playing against Penafiel. Well, the ref shows him PLAYING against Penafiel and being SENT OFF, and...in PRE-SEASON!! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:29, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously, what types of drugs this guy uses? MYS77 03:31, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry MYS, but what does "...his right to create pages was taken from him" mean man? I don't understand, I thought anyone with an account could create a page. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:57, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, not at all. He was indefinitely banned from creating BLP articles after doing a lot of big mistakes like this one. MYS77 04:03, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Did not know, no sir. My reaction in three letters: W-O-W! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:09, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sleepy, will do the rest tomorrow (only the late club career missing), I think the piece looks a little better now. More "bombs": ref #22, where the player speaks about clubs interested in him, he says in Portuguese that S.C. Braga was the club that launched his Primeira Liga career... well not for Roy, he added Braga to the list of interested clubs! Until tomorrow --84.90.219.128 (talk) 04:56, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just reviewed your "best friend" RRD's "Did You Know" nomination for Erik Lima. I don't know if you are into DYK but I think you deserve credit for expanding the article.

Also, my Portuguese is only pt-2, but from what I can make out in the article on Erik's childhood, he says he never had a football as a child and thus played with a can of deodorant? Yet at the bottom of the page I see an infant who can not be a day over 3 years, with a football in front of his tiny feet! Am I wrong in my reading, or is he telling a romanticised recollection of his childhood? '''tAD''' (talk) 11:47, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan Charlton[edit]

Done, see Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Ryan Charlton. GiantSnowman 12:25, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think all the updates I did in this player are correct (and corrections, they got the wrong university!), feel free to add/revert/compose. From what I see, this guy passes WP:NOTABILITY because he played in the Copa del Rey for Numancia against teams of the same level.

Happy week, "see" you --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:26, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, 100% correct, mate. See ya! MYS77 15:31, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They won't stop, but I guess it's fair they add categories of Segunda División B teams if they add categories of clubs that NEVER played there...Now, it's CELTA DE VIGO B PLAYERS, out of order of course (don't know what's so "hot" about HotCat) :( --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:47, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

...and please see who nominated Roberto Firmino to what, I don't even want to peek at the page once! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:19, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As always, who would be? The strangest of all these things are the guys who agree with him. What they do? Count the number of lines and everything is OK? MYS77 16:27, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you help me and AL extend these articles? All help would be needed, in particular extending Waldo's career at Fluminense (over 300 goals must have something to talk about) as well as his international career. With Wanderley, I'd like to know who he played for before coming to Spain (I doubt 24-year-old amateurs get transfers to La Liga)

Thanks in advance '''tAD''' (talk) 18:47, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Looking great! '''tAD''' (talk) 19:20, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have a left a note in TAD's page regarding my first improvement, Waldo, please read it for details. To you my friend, I leave one question: are you sure his totals with Flu are Campeonato Brasileiro Série A only? Cheers, happy weekend (ah, and so "happy" to see that the Colombian piece of garbage has insulted us in Quique Flores!!) --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:20, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Waldo's stats aren't only for Série A (and if it was should be 0/0 hahaha, in that time the national championship was Taça Brasil). They include Campeonato Carioca and Torneio Rio – São Paulo, I couldn't find it splitted anywhere.
The Colombian prick was blocked for 31 hours (only), good for us. Cheers, MYS77 16:25, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He has many more IPs, I think I counted about ten already. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:04, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wanderley done as well. Since Elche CF played in La Liga in the season where he represented them, and BDFUTBOL.com shows nothing, either he played exclusively for Elche CF Ilicitano or he only trained with the first team, either way it's 0/0. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:29, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Brilliant work, my friend! Happy weekend, MYS77 18:35, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another oldtimer from your country playing in mine, pretty obscure to you I imagine... In which club did he play in 2001, Santa Cruz or Sport do Recife? I imagine Zerozero is wrong (again!), but who knows?

Thanks in advance, i'll help in the Machado brothers when I can. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 22:13, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You (and Fora de Jogo) are correct, mate! He played for Sport in 2001 but also in 1997. I've already included the other teams in the box. Cheerio, MYS77 02:53, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page move / Comments[edit]

1 - If you please (man, I really got to create an account, but I just don't feel comfortable anymore, don't know why): please change Ricardo Manuel Fernandes to "Ricardo Fernandes (footballer, born January 1978)", to match this one.

2 - How about this guy? Quite a career... if you want to add stats/correct clubs, please do help out!

Also, thanks for reverting the Colombian punk again in Quique Flores (by the way, that IP is often used by him, it could be blocked if I'm not mistaken). Happy weekend and all that --84.90.219.128 (talk) 11:47, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1- Done;
2- Added stats, props to the state federations here :)
3- Don't worry mate, the page is already on my watchlist, so if this prank decides to bother again, I'll revert him in no time. Cheers, MYS77 13:27, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Valencia fanboy[edit]

Seems Creed7 may be a "small problem" compared to the guy I found in Pablo Piatti, VCF99. Writes in completely unencyclopedical language, with stuff like "unfortunately", etc. The greatest players on earth for him are Valencia players, of course. He may be well-intended (I think he started adding refs when people asked him to), but this is an encyclopedia.

Have a look at the Valencia sub-section, you'll see what I mean (I removed a section where he compared Piatti to...Messi!). You may also want to read what was written down below in Diego Alves before I stepped in. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:56, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Luckily for Pablo, Valencia plunged into deep crisis under Djukic" Piatti was indeed brilliant in his time at Almería, but I'm not going to the page and writing that kind of stuff. These things are not important, and were written in a biased manner. Let's have a chat with Creed (this part is with me, dunno why the guy has a "personal problem" with you) and warn him (for the 1,000,000th time).
Cheerio, MYS77 21:14, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wait man! Did you see something I did not see? Who wrote the sentence you showed as an example? Creed or VCF99? I'm confused :( --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:26, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

VCF was the one who wrote this, but I have to warn Creed about his charts (no assists per WP:FOOTY). Cheers, MYS77 02:33, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Got it ;) --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:40, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pergunta[edit]

MYS77 18:35, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think you can find a "real" reference for his Série A debut, mate? As we know, ZEROZERO is not considered reliable and, even if it was, that is only a match sheet, does not contain any info on whether it was his debut or his 1,000th appearance.

Thanks in advance, cheers --84.90.219.128 (talk) 14:16, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done, already added it in the article.

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.45.120.20 (talk) 18:48, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mate, can you please put this article on your watchlist? For the THIRD TIME, an idiot has removed this interesting bit of storyline I retrieved to article (PERSONAL LIFE section), calling it vandalism. Interesting, he does that and does not have an edit summary note, I revert his fucking vandalism and receive a "possible BLP issue or vandalism" note? Hilarious!!

Must be (I cannot be 100% sure, "only" 99,9999999999999%) a no-good lover of ETA, the "user" that's reverting me... Thanks in advance, all the best. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 21:59, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SLBedit[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.45.120.20 (talk) 23:45, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This and that...[edit]

Man, think you can find any updates for Javier Gómez Cifuentes? From what I browsed in FUTBOLME.com, he is no longer at La Gineta. Speaking of links that crash down, do you know which has done that (again!)? The Athletic Bilbao official web, lord have mercy!

Thanks in advance, keep up the good work --84.90.219.128 (talk) 01:48, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

After doing a lot of research at http://www.ffcm.es/, I could conclude what's his current team and could find his other stats. Cheers, happy weekend. MYS77 06:07, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lovely[edit]

Hi, the song is clearly from the album Vessel. Regional at Best was long released, and the version of the song is the one present in Vessel, not the old one from Regional. Lastly, the song was only released in Japan, to promote the new special edition of the album and the tour. There are plenty of song present only in special editions and released as a single to promote them. Only because this song was also in a past album (even in different version) you say that is from the first album that is nearly 2 years older than the single? Come on friend! --Tartufo (msg) 07:50, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Miscellaneous[edit]

1 - assuming that BDFUTBOL.com is correct, do check out the Uche brothers' full names. "Funny" (in the same way I imagine "Vasco" would be funny for an African person)...

2 - the situation between SLB and Gringo has escalated, now with personal insults from Gringo. Really sad it has come to this, last time I mediate. Oh, and Gringo was blocked again.

3 - UD Almería, three points "in" or three points "out"? The WP article of the season gives them 31 points, Marca 28...

Happy week, go "get" them --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:31, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1- OMG, hahahaha. A versicle of the Holy Bible!
2- The strangest thing about these two is: SLB is constantly involved in edit wars, but isn't blocked somehow, but Gringo is still blocked. Why?
Cheers, happy week. MYS77 15:35, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe because Gringo has been banned by the community ("ban" being different from "block"), maybe that is the difference. I can't think of anything else.

And... you've got mail! Please reply in the same fashion. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:46, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you answer to item #3 of my previous message (Almería situation) please? Now, two more favours: please move these two guys' pages, Fali (footballer born 1983) and Fali (footballer born 1986), just add the comma after "footballer". Also, if some updates need to be done in the 1983 guy (the 1986 one is retired), you're the man :)

"See" you! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:13, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About Almería: the court hearing will take place only on 20 May, so, for now, everybody can include what they want to. RFEF says that Almería has 28 points, while LFP says it has 31...
The duo are moved, with the one born in 1983 updated. Cheers, MYS77 19:07, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My dear fellow user, do you think Héctor Sánchez Cabrera's stats with Tenerife B are correct? FOUR games in TWO years? Strange, but could happen of course (injuries, manager choices, explosive diarrhea, etc) --84.90.219.128 (talk) 00:35, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wanna help create this CA Osasuna legend? Here's the draft (entire storyline, infobox, etc), only thing lacking now are the refs (several of which can be retrieved from his ES.WIKI entry - I already added one, for his La Liga debut, copied it from Javier Castañeda)... Oh, and the actual transformation of the red link into a blue one :)

Hope you and WP like it, cheers! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 09:30, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done, I'll add some refs later. I've removed it from here, only because it looks "ugly" here (sorry about that). But the page is brilliant as always, thanks mate! Cheerio, MYS77 13:15, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Of course, no problem. As the Osasuna fans chant, "There is only one Enrique Martín (WP article)!"... --84.90.219.128 (talk) 00:06, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He played on loan for UE Lleida on the 1978-79 season. Here is the source: http://hemeroteca.mundodeportivo.com/preview/1978/08/09/pagina-8/1032226/pdf.html#&mode=fullScreen (talk) 04:02, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page move(s)[edit]

Fancy two more, man? Just add the comma to Pepín (footballer born 1931) and Pepín (footballer born 1959).

Cheers again --84.90.219.128 (talk) 09:36, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wanderley Machado has been nominated for Did You Know[edit]

Given you level of experience on Wikipedia, I really shouldn't have to remind you of our policies on civility, but the comments in your edit summary on this article are not appropriate. I'll agree with you that the article is wanting when it comes to quality, but there is no need to resort to name-calling. In any case, I have taken the article to AfD, and invite you to participate in the discussion. Regards. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:33, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks mate. Happy week, MYS77 16:17, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Cheers, MYS77 02:44, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Como só tinha uma referência com o jogo contra o Logroñés, o senhor achou por bem escrever a seguinte historinha: "Born in Madrid, Estebaranz started his football career with Atletico Madrileño, playing for them against Logrones in May 1986."

--84.90.219.128 (talk) 00:41, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adicionei a página à "watchlist" aqui. Se ele mexer, eu ficarei sabendo. Abraços, MYS77 02:10, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Obrigado.

Players released[edit]

  • Players do not leave clubs until their contracts expire, unless specifically released early. Contracts generally expire on the 30th of June, so we update articles to reflect that on that date. This is standard WP:FOOTBALL practise for all articles, so please abide by it (and self-revert, although I will be going around and reverting your changes where they do not comply). Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 14:50, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there,

I have a problem with understanding some stuff in this guy's article. I understand CD Málaga disappeared in 1992, but how can you associate the reserves of that club with Málaga CF man? Quite confusing, but maybe I should not have removed anything before consulting you.

Well, please revert me if you have to, and sorry for any inconvenience. Tchau! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 02:35, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to the WP pages: "CD Málaga had a reserve club, founded on 25 May 1948 when CD Málaga took over a junior club, CD Santo Tomás, with the purpose of establishing a reserve team. The club was renamed Club Atlético Malagueño, reviving the name of one of the two clubs that had merged to form CD Málaga in 1933." - History of Málaga CF. Atlético Malagueño: "founded in 1990 as Sociedad Deportiva Malacitana, the reserve team of Club Atlético Malagueño. When the latter became Málaga CF in 1994, it changed its name to Málaga CF B the following year." This is quite confusing indeed, but Málaga CF was CD Málaga's reserve team at that time. That's why I associated these clubs. Cheerio, sem problemas, amigo! MYS77 02:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK, got it (more or less...), i have reinstated the stuff as far as storyline/categories go. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 03:17, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

judging from this guy's BDFUTBOL entry, and his page at LASEGUNDAB (please consult User:Mega60's page for more details), it's clear that the player's early career is not coherent, no? What changes do you think should be made? I asked Mega, but still have not received a reply.

Continue the good work --84.90.219.128 (talk) 14:19, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should use both together. I suppose that he played for Avilés in 96-97, and then moved to Gimnástica in 97-98, being loaned to San Martín in 98 (January). Got it?
Cheers, happy week! MYS77 14:34, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense :) I will arrange it duly, but my doubt is where to insert CLUB HISPANO (I believe it was retrieved from FUTBOLME.com, now "invisible" as always). --84.90.219.128 (talk) 14:37, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks my friend, keep it up! :) MYS77 14:40, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
About Hispano: maybe a loan in 1997 (January to June)? I think so. Cheers, MYS77 15:01, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

High-five! According to LASEGUNDA, he still belonged to Avilés in 1997/98. I choose this approach you now see in article, hopefully it's correct. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 15:04, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Thanks, MYS77 15:26, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there mate,

do you think you can find a ref for this guy's only Brazilian cap? If you want to add more overall, be my guest, but don't bother too much of course, you have your own articles to work in.

Happiest of weekends, from Portugal --84.90.219.128 (talk) 09:02, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, can you please check if this chap's box is now correct? Ah, and if you want a laugh, please have a look at the "storyline" before I removed it (no refs, and it was the work of blocked User:LobãoV, so I think I did right). Cheers again --84.90.219.128 (talk) 09:11, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Both are done! Added some refs in Simplício, and Roma's box is 100% correct. Cheers, MYS77 13:53, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Great work, but you learned with the best (just kidding)! One more favour, this one very simple: please check out Edmilson Dias de Lucena (I bet you also did not know about this guy, but he had a great career in Portugal, check out the numbers), did I do well in correcting the city of birth? ZEROZERO said "Emas, Paraíba", FORADEJOGO said "Ermas", maybe the second is a typo? --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:45, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Of course I did (no jokes there)! And yes, the page is correct, he was born in Emas, Paraíba. No such city called Ermas in Brazil. Cheerio, MYS77 19:04, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And see who's being doing what at Luis Enrique (footballer), since his edits are so "great" he is forbidden from creating new articles, now he removes sections (managerial statistics, did it twice, now I don't care to reinstate it, it was not even I who added it firstly!) and adds "citation needed" tags. Remember what he did in Gorka Iraizoz, when he removed the honours? Oh well... and now he sent me a message acting like he knows it all. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:33, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another one who thinks he's the king of Wikipedia itself! RRD needs to learn a LOT before doing what he does. I'll endorse your message to him. Cheers, MYS77 18:48, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, I could be mistaken (and will apologize if it turns out to be the case), but I think since we gave him such a hard time due to his editing approach, he is prepared to do the same to us. For example, he NEVER edited in many of the articles we usually do, and now, all of a sudden, bam! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 21:09, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

But there a difference exists between us and him. We know the guidelines and we're trying to contribute and improve the articles here, while he's only removing stuff here and there. Cheers, MYS77 02:10, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For you who "know the guidelines" look at WP:BLP, WP:V and WP:Original Research. See, instead of saying me, you should find out the reference of the claims (as you contribute and improve articles, and work in football articles) and not profess removal of Citation needed tags without providing citations. Thirdly, the matter ended peacefully between him and me, I didnt ask for your intervention. Hope you understand clearly. RRD13 দেবজ্যোতি (talk) 06:03, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
