Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to History of the Republic of China: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. Hi, and thanks for the help. Toko (aka Keith Bridgeman) is a long term banned vandal who tries to promote his crappy products on Wikipedia. He suffers from some sort of delusion of genius ("My site [is] infinitely better [than Wikipedia].", "My knowledge of [...] is way beyond yours and all of the other amateurish editors put together", etc.) and a lack of basic social skills ("wanker, pedophile, sex offender, faggot, asshole, looser, lesbian," etc.). Since i have blocked by now probably close to 200 of his sockpuppets in the last 2 years and removed his adverts, he does not like me. Like i care. Details are on WP:TOJO. Post Scriptum: I believe my collaged graphic at left, which incorporates the WP globe and mop image, falls under the rubric of parody for my purposes here. Or is it satire? Regardless, it's a legitimate and legally protected First Amendment usage under US law. Complaints and allegations that this is an improper "fair use" image will be entertained on my talk page, probably with fruit juice, finger food and exotic coffees.

Republic of China
Hey, I think the article is probably good enough to become a GA, but the whole China/PRC/ROC issue just totally makes the article unstable. Keep up the good work, though.
I'm wondering if you can give your opinion on the requested move of Premier of the Republic of China to President of the Executive Yuan. My point on this is simple (and I don't know why anyone would oppose the move): We're moving it to the official name, as the result of not being able to move it to the most common name (Premier of Taiwan; NPOV issue). The contest department has completed its ninth month of competition. The top scorer this month is Blnguyen, with 22 points, followed by Dreamafter, with 8 points, and Redmarkviolinist, with 6 points. Blnguyen also remains the overall leader, with 162 points in total. All project members are encouraged to submit the articles they're working on as entries.
Blnguyen has been awarded the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves in recognition of his efforts in improving the quality of articles related to Vietnamese military history, including the creation of numerous A-Class articles.
Woodym555 has been awarded the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves in recognition of his outstanding work on topics related to the Victoria Cross, notably including the creation of featured articles, featured lists, and a featured topic.
Although the drive is officially closed, existing participants can continue tagging until January 31 if they wish, with the extra tags counting towards their tally for barnstar purposes.

Since another of my interests is pharmacology, I'm chuckling about your username, and wondering if methotrexate is to you as Kryptonite is to Superman. Methotrexate is a very useful drug, but it works by suppressing folic acid.
Welcome to the task force! There hasn't been much discussion on the task force itself, but there are comments on articles. Before the task force was formed, there were discussions on the main Project list about what became the hierarchy of articles under intelligence cycle management. There are some miscellaneous intelligence activities, such as financial and medical, which I haven't decided where to place in the hierarchy.
It's been frustrating but rewarding to revise, into a hierarchy of articles not dominated by conspiracy theory, Central Intelligence Agency.

Howard - I like the look of this! However, if you don't mind a couple of suggestions, I've tweaked your matrix a little. For the most part, I've added DIA as a collector and processor. The ODNI doesn't really do much in the way of processing raw intelligence, while the DIA does. Originally, the matrix was just to address a question of Ernx, but there seems to be interest in making it more solid. Let me make several comments, in no special order.
ODNI is in some odd roles. I didn't distinguish between analysis and estimates; if I did, the National Intelligence Council is in ODNI and is really the only IC-wide estimates agency. Some of its individual reports are more analysis.
Where things get even trickier in ODNI is that the National Open Source Enterprise is there, and does do open source collection, as with the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (which swallowed the DoD Joint Publications Research). Arguably, OSINT goes at least from collection and processing, to some analysis; I've had a couple of contracts to do OSINT-only as a reality check for some all-source analysts at an agency that I was told I had no need to know. I don't know if the former CIA Domestic Contact Service has moved there or is still in NCS.
Some of the cross-functional Centers/Executives, like Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation do some processing.
Now, the military. In fact, if I expand this significantly, I'll go below the level of the service when they have a major activity for a discipline -- say, Air Force Foreign Technology Division (FTD), which I think has been renamed, for TECHINT. The Air Force also runs a MASINT center, more for education although the MASINT god still is in DIA. Army has the lead medical intelligence function, although there's probably some in the CIA Office of Scientific Intelligence (again an old name), and the NIC has done worldwide disease analysis.
I agree NCS has not been promoted. Still, to be comprehensive rather than hierarchical, it's a major component that is at least quasi-independent. How it relates to what was the Special Collection Service, previously Division D, is something I don't know, but I think SCS, a joint CIA-NSA operational activity, needs to be there, and perhaps some of the military collection activities.
Still thinking about it all, though. I started a userspace page on it, User:Hcberkowitz/Sandbox-ICmatrix, which doesn't have your tweaks yet.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox.
