Keratconus[edit]

Hello. With regard to the changes here, I think I must disagree, for the following reasons:

  1. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and not a 'how-to' guide. A list of places from which to get treatment does not fit into an encyclopaedic article, the focus of which is an academic treatment of its subject matter.
  2. If this treatment is increasing in popularity worldwide, the list will be become hopelessly out of date in a few months.
  3. Cities in Italy and Germany have been named, but not those in other countries where the treatment is in common use. Why is this?
  4. If the treatment is carried out in many cities, why are those particular ones named and not others in Germany and Italy?
  5. I have looked around several medical articles on various topics, and none contained lists of places where particular treatments are carried out.
  6. None of the other keratoconus articles appear to have lists of places where C3R treatment is carried out.
  7. The statement is unsourced.
  8. '&c.' is not an recognised abbreviated in English. Even 'etc.' is frowned upon in formal English.

Nonsense of The Mars Volta tours[edit]

I have fully protected the article in question. Consider taking this to dispute resolution, such as WP:RFC and WP:3O. Disputes should be resolved on talk pages, not in the main article space, and as noted above, further reverts can result in blocks for disruption to all involved parties. I thought I'd drop you a quick line on your talk page, away from all the "sturm-und-drang" over at the Accelerate article. Like I said over there, the realization is that your strengths (from my vantage point) lie more towards sourcing and digging info from other places, more than edits and proofing. That's not a slight against you, as I am also, like I said, not so loquatious in the spoken word, (I absolutely SUCK at public speaking!) but have a professional command of the written word, it comes from my father insisting on my reading a new word from the dictionary each evening while I was young, and building my vocabulary.
What I would suggest, since the others seem to be forming some ill opinions of you, that you take a while, back away, and let the process flesh it's self out. Dig the info, and submit it on the talk page, in a way that suggests helpfulness and cannot be impeached with suggestions of malice or "bad faith". R.E.M. tours[edit]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article R.E.M. tours, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. U2 at Glastonbury[edit]

It is naturally mentioned on their homepage but that does not make it a part of the tour. If you look at the actual tour dates you will find that it is not listed; see for yourself. I will also note that, although they are not official sources, neither U2Gigs or U2Tours lists it as a part of the tour either. The Glastonbury Festival is just an extra concert that they are playing in between tour dates (I won't even mention the impossible logistics regarding their stage). It is no more a part of U2 360° than Live 8 was part of the Vertigo Tour. Until there is an official announcement from a credible source (U2.com or Live Nation) that explicitly states the Glastonbury Festival date is a part of the U2 360° Tour (ex. the U2.com Tour Index adding the Glastonbury Festival to the tour dates), it is nothing more an assumption on your part and cannot be included. Double check man, I've been reverting an OUTDATED version that the user just pretended to write over the up to date one, which is frankly outrageous. I see you two guys are lone soldiers sort of 'collaborating' on removing flags in 'listing' articles that need such, as discussed in the past on a much larger scale than your 3, 4-people total discussion, because of making it easier to scroll the article in a fast way and still finding different zones, areas or continents. Not to mention, as said, the page your friend forced in was initially awfully outdated. I adivse yuou guys to start a much larger discussion to see if it really doesn't help the scrolling, before forcing your way through articles that have been there, and like this, thankfully, for years and years.
